The first Ferretti InFynito 80 was launched in July at Ferretti Group’s new Ravenna production site. Acquired in March 2023, the shipyard will be fully operational from 2025 and is now home to five production lines for the Ferretti Yachts and Wally brands, with a daily workforce that already totals 200. InFynito 80 follows the InFynito 90 and has the signature characteristics of the range; environmental friendliness, unprecedented flexibility and innovative layouts including the iconic All-Season Terrace, a much-loved architectural feature and the winner of some prestigious awards. Other strengths include the yacht’s versatility, with a sundeck that can be open or semi-open, and the sheer size, above-average for the segment of the outdoor surface areas covered and protected by the hard top or superstructure. With a length overall of over 23 Ferretti Yachts InFynito 80 is the result of collaboration between the Product Strategy Committee led by Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, with exterior design by architect Filippo Salvetti and interiors by Ideaitalia. InFynito 80 also features the range’s F.S.E.A. technology; Ferretti Sustainable Enhanced Architecture package of sustainability-driven, environment-friendly solutions. They include a fast displacement hull optimized to improve fuel efficiency and minimize environmental impact, a special focus on the use of green materials; such as natural fabrics, regenerated leather, recyclable materials, ecological water-based paints and lamellar teak with FSC 5 certification, and an integrated system that stores the solar energy collected by the photovoltaic panels installed on the hard top and on the roof of the All-Season Terrace in an Energy Bank. The interior design mood chosen for this unit is Contemporary, inspired by the fresh color tones of the sea. The upper deck on InFynito 90 is replaced on the InFynito 80 by a completely open sundeck, with a hard-top providing shade for the entire dining area and helm station. The stern area on the upper deck, reserved for sunbathing, is furnished with freestanding sun loungers. The main deck layout features a main salon with twin face-to-face sofas and a TV that swings down from the ceiling. The galley occupies the forward section of the deck, with a recessed electric window that looks onto the iconic All-Season Terrace, one of the highlights of the entire range. Sheltered by an extension to the superstructure for greater protection and privacy, this terrace is a comfortable private space containing a dinette or bar area and a generous sofa to relax on in the shade. The lower deck has four guest cabins, all with en-suite bathroom, sleeping a total of eight people. The crew area amidships can be entered privately from the walkway on the port side and contains two separate cabins sleeping three. The first InFynito 80 is fitted with the optional Man 1400hp engines and can reach a top speed of 22 knots and a cruising speed of 17. As standard power the Ferretti InFynito 80 is powered by twin Man 1200hp which reduce both top and fast cruising speed by two knots. The Ferretti InFynito 80 will debut at the Cannes 2024 boat show, the coming September.
