Not much time passes that a new offer in the walk around sport cruiser segment appears. This time around we have Bellini, who founded in 1960 return to boat and yacht production after 51 years. This is not to say that Bellini has stopped since then, as the company including it's home on Lake Iseo has today five boat storage facilities, located in Liguria and the Adriatic side of Italy. Bellini is back with this new Astor 36 a sport cruiser walk around designed by Brunello Acampora of Victory design and project guidance from Norberto Ferretti. The Astor 36 is the first part of Bellini's industrial plan to re-enter boat production, which is to feature a three model line up with two other Astor's of 58 and 68 arriving in the near future. The Astor 36 enters the competitive walk around segment, with a few distinct shining features versus similar competition. It stand out feature is surely its drop down balconies, which are among the largest to size being about a third to the Astor 36 length. These apart extending space, give also a sensation of being literally with the water rather then just on it even when for example sitting on the dinette. Another feature of the Astor 36 is that it has a hull registration length of under ten meters able to be registered as a small Natante boat on the Italian registry. Like similar walk around's the Bellini Astor 36 brings the usual layout of an aft sun-pad, opposing settee dinette, dual seat center console, with two steps up leading to the fore deck which has a forward bench settee in-front of the console, and a fore-peak sun-pad. Down below the Bellini Astor 36 offers a four berth accommodation layout, with a double berth forward, a shower head to starboard, a cabin galley to port side, and a second double berth at midships. The Bellini Astor 36 is powered by twin Volvo 350hp gas engines, and or 300hp diesel's with stern drive propulsion with these giving top speeds up to 32 knots.
