Apreamare Strengthens It's Dealer Network in Italy and Spain

Apreamare is heading toward the close of 2025 by consolidating its distribution network through two targeted new partnerships that further strengthen its dealer network in Italy and across Europe: Mr. Blu, new sales point representing Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Veneto, and Náutica Marina Sport, sub-dealer for Spain, officially join the shipyard’s sales network. This confirms Apreamare’s continued growth in diversified and strategic markets such as the Mediterranean area, as well as the increasing interest in the new range of the brand’s iconic Sorrentine Gozzi.   In particular, Mr. Blu, with extensive experience in the high-end yachting sector and a deep understanding of both the national and local markets, will represent the Apreamare brand with the aim of offering customers in the Triveneto area increasingly comprehensive and personalized service.  At the same time, Apreamare is strengthening its presence in Spain with the appointment of Náutica Marina Sport as a new official sub-dealer, operating under the coordination of Island Yacht Brokers, the exclusive distributor based in Menorca. The new partner, already a key reference point for the boating sector in the Iberian region, will contribute to expanding the presence of Apreamare models in the Spanish market, ensuring high-quality commercial and after-sales support.  With these new partnerships, the Sorrento-based shipyard continues to invest in strengthening its international sales network, with the aim of ensuring an increasingly direct and qualified presence in the brand’s most strategic markets.

Azimut-Benetti Group Introduces Artificial Intelligence to Prevent Collisions at Sea

Azimut|Benetti Group’s R&D Department and marine-tech innovator WATCHIT have developed WATCHIT Eye, the first AI-based collision prevention system for yachting, detecting obstacles from floating objects to vessels and underwater hazards.  Azimut|Benetti Group reveals WATCHIT Eye, the revolutionary AI-based collision prevention system designed specifically for recreational boating. This technology sets a new level for safety at sea:  the intuition comes from Azimut|Benetti Group R&D Department, and the technical development is by the marine-tech company WATCHIT, led by former naval commander and seasoned captain Tal Duvdevany.  WATCHIT Eye is not simply an exercise in innovation. It is a journey of shared technological choices, testing, validation, and real-world applications, a promising technology that is already on board the Group's new models and available for installation across the fleet. The first yacht to boast this innovative technology is the Azimut Fly 82, which made her world debut at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival and was then displayed at the Genoa International Boat Show, along with the Seadeck 7 Hybrid, the yacht that embodies the cutting edge of the innovations developed by the Shipyard and the Group's R&D Department.  Designed specifically for the recreational boating sector, where collisions and groundings are among the main critical issues, WATCHIT Eye marks a paradigm shift in risk management at sea, focusing on alert timing - rather than the distance from an obstacle - and providing the right amount of advance warning to best support the captain. This approach gives the captain ample time to respond to obstacles such as vessels, tenders, ribs and also small objects like kayaks, marking buoys or floating obstacles, but also yacht grounding risks, enhancing safety and significantly reducing the risk of accidents.  Following the first generation of the WATCHIT system, the “Eye” version developed together with Azimut|Benetti Group uses the AI engine to filter real and manageable risks, combining data from various onboard sensors together with a dedicated and custom developed 4D Imaging Radar and alerting the captain only when the detected obstacles pose a genuine risk of collision.  The AI engine underlying this system operates on multiple levels. First, it is designed to emulate the decision-making process of an experienced captain, acting as a co-pilot who performs real-time risk assessments.  Furthermore, it enables continuous data collection in the cloud and immediate analysis, and recognizes different navigation modes, adapting the risk warning system to the context: port manoeuvres, open sea cruising, or navigating through congested waters. Thanks to this information integration, the system is able to identify threats from every direction and generate timely alerts that allow for high levels of concentration and rapid decision-making, simplifying navigation.  In addition, the High Frequency 4D Imaging Radar, compared to average marine radars and cameras, provides excellent short-range detection, precise tracking and target recognition not affected by fog, rain or darkness, with the best ratio of cost to performance.  «The development of WATCHIT Eye demonstrates how our R&D Department is not only focused on the integration of the most advanced technologies in collaboration with our partners, but also on boosting the adoption of advanced solutions coming from other industries to enhance onboard devices and to create tools that yacht owners truly need. The introduction of this system represents a real advancement in navigation safety, consistent with the Group's mission to combine innovation and well-being on board,» commented Alessandro Rossi, Chief Product Officer of Azimut|Benetti Group.   «WATCHIT brings proactive safety to the water, automating risk detection so captains can focus on what really matters: safe, confident navigation,» said Tal Duvdevany, CEO of WATCHIT. «With WATCHIT Eye, we’re setting a new standard in how boats understand their surroundings and respond in real time. »  With WATCHIT Eye, Azimut|Benetti Group and WATCHIT offer all owners a revolutionary solution that once again confirms the Group's leading role in innovation and reinforces WATCHIT's pioneering role as a new global benchmark in marine safety.  Recognized for its positive impact in making navigation safer, the new system has been shortlisted for the 2025 Boat Builder Awards in the category “Collaborative Solution between a Builder and its Supply Chain Partner.”

Azimut Accelerates Expansion in Canada

The agreement grows and extends into new strategic regions, including Quebec and the Maritimes alongside Ontario, strengthening the Shipyard’s strategy in a key market.  Azimut announces the extension of its partnership with Marine 360, a company reporting rapid growth in Canada. Following the success of the collaboration in Ontario, the dealership is expanding its coverage to include Quebec and the Maritimes (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island).  Marine 360, which signed its first dealership agreement with Azimut in January 2023, has since successfully developed its business as a dealer for the Shipyard in Ontario. With offices in Kingston (Ontario), Québec City and Saint-Paul-de-l’Île-aux-Noix, the company is now entering a new phase of expansion, supported by a development plan that includes the opening of new offices in Toronto over the next five years, aiming to amplify the brand’s presence and reach an even larger number of boating enthusiasts.  The collaboration between Azimut and Marine 360 is founded on shared values: customer focus, high-quality after-sales service and an ongoing commitment to building lasting relationships with owners. These principles are key drivers of Azimut expansion in North America, where Quebec and the Maritimes, together with Ontario, represent strategic markets for the Shipyard. With a constantly expanding and made-to-measure sales and service network, the dealership’s goal is to further strengthen the brand's footprint in Canada alongside a partner that has always demonstrated strong commitment.  Giorgio Sarti, Sales Manager Azimut Americas, comments: “We are proud to extend our collaboration with Marine 360, a partner that has consistently demonstrated passion, reliability, and an outstanding ability to represent the Azimut brand. Truly understanding, adopting, and embodying Azimut’s values is essential for us, and Marine 360 has proven to do so with remarkable dedication. Equally important is the ability to help us meet the expectations of such a discerning market as Canada, an area that demands excellence in both product and service.”  Vincent Piétracoup, President of Marine 360, adds: “This growth marks an important milestone in our company’s development and reflects the trust Azimut places in our team. It allows us to bring Marine 360’s excellence, innovation, and personalized service to an even greater number of boating enthusiasts. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to our clients, partners, and every member of our team, whose dedication and professionalism make this achievement possible.”

Benetti Revolutionizes Yacht Production with Artificial Intelligence

Benetti’s first AI integration project, developed jointly with the Quinn University Consortium, will get under way by the end of the year. The initial focus will be on optimising the performance of production processes in four areas of the Livorno site’s Custom Operations division.  Benetti, supported by the Quinn Consortium, is ready to launch a strategic plan to introduce Artificial Intelligence into its production processes, with an initial focus on four areas of the Custom Operations division. The Logistics, Planning, Production Engineering and Safety divisions will see the integration of AI-based technologies in the first phase of the project, which aims to upgrade the effectiveness of procedures, raise the level of automation, and increase the quality and reliability of products and services. The new project will get under way at the company’s Livorno site by the end of the year.  “Investing in innovation is the strategy that ensures we can always offer our clients the best possible product. The introduction of Artificial Intelligence is a significant step forward in the history of yacht building, and while on one side excellence and attention to detail remain core to the brand, on the other, the adoption of cutting-edge digital solutions will open the way to make processes faster, more efficient and more sustainable, putting us in the best possible position to face future challenges,” said Benetti General Manager Massimo Casoni. “We’re proud of this collaboration with the Consortium, with which we share a sense of belonging to the local area and the vision of a future in which technology adds value to a unique product.”  “We’re extremely honoured to share this journey with a company like Benetti, which for us means sharing a strategic vision in which technological innovation, people and processes come together to create sustainable value over time,” said Ilaria Campana, General Manager of the Quinn Consortium, adding: “Today, Artificial Intelligence is a fundamental lever for driving companies into the future, on the condition that we think of it not only as a tool to improve efficiency, but also and most importantly as a force for transformation that can generate concrete, positive impacts on the entire production system. That’s why we need an integrated, process-focused approach to deliver excellent performance, protect investments in technology, and foster new ways of working.”  The strategic partner of the initiative is Quinn, the University Consortium that has been supporting businesses since 1989 through advanced training and research initiatives, and with which Benetti has already undertaken a successful project (2022-2024) to synchronise logistics by focusing on horizontal integration in the supply chain. This work enabled the Consortium to gather and analyse inputs from all corporate functions, with a view to intercepting opportunities for improvement and defining a series of AI-based solutions that will be implemented in the shipyard in the coming months. They include the integration of automatic controls on the Incoming Material Booking Portal – which will align materials deliveries with the yacht schedule and warehouse availability – and the introduction of the Three-Year Plan Simulator Prototype, which will automatically process complex scenarios and facilitate continuous improvement in key business performance indicators.  The application of AI to the Custom Operations area will bring multiple benefits, including the reduction of errors in manual activities that can be automated, upgrading data-based decision-making capabilities, and cutting manual processing times for semi-finished products in favour of in-house skills developed to address value-added activities.  The project confirms Benetti’s desire to continue investing in innovation, which strengthens its leadership in the industry and lays the groundwork for a more evolved, flexible and future-oriented production model that aspires to be a benchmark for the entire yachting industry.

With this appointment, the Shipyard further reinforces its presence in the strategic Asian market. Established with the aim of uniting the international yachting industry and fostering sustainable growth through training, advocacy and the recognition of merit, the ISS brings together designers, builders, owners and crews from around the world to celebrate projects that set new standards of creativity and quality.  During the evening event, the panel of judges, 12 international yacht design and construction experts awarded Ferretti Group two of the evening’s most important prizes:  Custom Line Navetta 38 M/Y Telli: category “Best in Motor under 300 GT” (8.00-38.76 m);  Wallywind110 Galma: category “Best in Sail” (7.60-33.42 m). The presentation of the Best in Motor under 300 GT award to Custom Line Navetta 38 M/Y TelliI confirms Ferretti Group’s outstanding ability to combine refined design, advanced naval engineering and comfort on board. The yacht, with interiors designed by ACPV Architects Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel and exteriors by Filippo Salvetti, stands out for the seamless flow between her interior and exterior spaces, for the balance between guest and crew areas, and for a laser-sharp focus on efficiency and sustainability. The panel of judges praised the yacht’s harmonious proportions and a design approach that skilfully blends aesthetics and functionality.  In the Best in Sail category, Galma – the first model in the new wallywind110 series – won the jury over with her elegant balance between cutting-edge performance and sleek, minimalist design, two of the brand’s signature features. The naval architecture is by judel/vrolijk & co and the interior and exterior design by Santa Maria Magnolfi. Crafted from advanced carbon composite, she delivers exceptional speed and handling while offering a luxurious, open-plan interior that maximizes light and connection to the sea. Judges praised the yacht as representing “everything Wally stands for in terms of style and innovation”—the embodiment of pure sailing pleasure.  These two awards highlight Ferretti Group’s integrated and innovative vision, combining the values of technological research, refined design and craftsmanship that have always made its brands – from Custom Line to Wally – stand out on the global luxury yachting scene.  With these new wins, Ferretti Group consolidates its role as a global benchmark and underscores its ability to anticipate trends in contemporary yacht design, transforming every project into a masterpiece of style, comfort and innovation.

Ferretti Group and Il Gusto della Ricerca

The Riva shipyard, an iconic Ferretti Group brand and a symbol of yachting excellence, hosted the 20th edition of Il Gusto per la Ricerca (The Taste for Research), a charity event promoted by the non-profit organisation founded by the Alajmo brothers and Dr. Stefano Bellon.  In a unique setting overlooking Lake Iseo, Ferretti Group welcomed guests, including eleven Michelin-starred chefs, for a charity lunch to celebrate the convergence of haute cuisine, design and solidarity.  The proceeds from the meal join those from a charity auction at which high-end articles from the Riva Brand Experience were sold, including models of Riva’s storied boats. The initiative benefited projects to support young children in need of help.  Ferretti Group’s participation confirms its commitment to providing concrete support for initiatives of social value, helping strengthen the links between excellence, the local area and responsibility.

Finnmaster New Dealers in Finland and Estonia

Finnmaster Boats, one of the leading boat manufacturers in Finland and the Nordic countries, continues to expand its sales network with the appointment of two new dealers: Lahden Konepiste in Finland and Freetime in Estonia. The announcement builds on Finnmaster’s expanding reach both in its domestic market and across Northern Europe.  Based in Lahti, just north of Helsinki, Lahden Konepiste joins Finnmaster’s well-established Finnish dealer network. As part of a strong group of national partners, Lahden Konepiste will further reinforce the brand’s presence in Finland, offering customers closer access to Finnmaster’s full range of fiberglass and aluminium boats, from the versatile Finnmaster models to the premium Grandezza line and Husky aluminium series. The new partner has already placed multiple orders for Finnmaster models, with early sales already secured for models like Pilot 8 and T9.  In Estonia, Finnmaster welcomes Freetime, a company specializing in outdoor and marine leisure equipment and accessories run by owner and CEO Marko Männi, as its new dealer. The new dealer has ordered several Grandezza boats with an estimated value of over €1 million, some of which have already been sold, marking a strong start to the collaboration. The partnership marks Freetime’s first venture into boating, reflecting the company’s ambition to expand within the outdoor and recreational boating sector. Enthusiastic about this new collaboration, Freetime’s team is already working on introducing the Finnmaster, Grandezza, and Husky ranges to the Estonian market.  “We are pleased to welcome Lahden Konepiste and Freetime to our growing dealer network,” said Pia Niska, COO of Finnmaster Boats. “Both partners bring local expertise, market knowledge, and a passion for outdoor and marine lifestyle that complement our long-term vision. These new collaborations strengthen our footprint both in Finland and internationally, and we look forward to developing these markets together.”  With these new appointments, Finnmaster continues to build on the momentum gained through its expanding dealer network since 2023, which now includes more than 10 new partners across Europe, Turkey, the Middle East, and Asia.  Finnmaster Boats, part of the Terra Patris Group, designs and manufactures fiberglass and aluminium boats in Finland, with production facilities in Kokkola, Kalajoki, and Sammatti. The company’s three brands – Grandezza, Finnmaster, and Husky – embody the Finnish boatbuilding tradition of craftsmanship, innovation, and reliability.

Frauscher Wins Meisterkreis Award 2025 for Porsche Collaboration

At this year's prestigious Meisterkreis Awards, the Frauscher shipyard and Porsche were honoured in the ‘Unexpected Partnerships’ category. The award recognises the extraordinary collaboration that resulted in the fully electric Frauscher × Porsche 850 Fantom Air and 850 Fantom – a milestone for sustainable premium mobility on the water. The award ceremony took place on Monday, 3rd November 2025, as part of the Meisterkreis Award ceremony. The prize was accepted by Stefan Frauscher, Managing Director of the Frauscher shipard, and Jörg Kerner, head of the Macan series at Porsche AG.  The Meisterkreis Award honours partnerships that go beyond traditional co-branding, celebrating genuine innovation that creates entirely new worlds of experience. With the 850 Fantom Air and the 850 Fantom, Frauscher shipyard and Porsche have achieved exactly that: two iconic brands, united by precision, performance and design, have authentically brought Porsche’s E-Performance technology to the water — blending it seamlessly with Frauscher’s masterful boatbuilding expertise.  The Meisterkreis Award jury explained their decision in clear terms: “Frauscher × Porsche convincingly transfer E-Performance to the water. Boatbuilding expertise and automotive e-drive merge to open up a new field. Demand and media impact demonstrate the project’s significance – a European benchmark in design and engineering.”  Measuring 8.67 metres in length, with an electric power output of up to 400 kW and a top speed of over 90 km/h, the Frauscher × Porsche 850 Fantom Air and 850 Fantom mark the dawn of a new era. At their heart lies the E-Performance drive technology from the Porsche Macan Turbo, adapted for marine use for the very first time. The result is a fusion of the emotional appeal of classic sports boats with the innovation and sustainability of modern electric mobility – crafted in Austria, powered by German engineering.  “This award highlights what can be achieved when two brands work together with passion and precision towards a shared vision,” emphasises Stefan Frauscher, Managing Director of Frauscher shipyard. “With Porsche, we share the ambition to redefine the limits of design and performance – on the water just as much as on the road.”  Jörg Kerner of Porsche also expressed his pride in the joint achievement:  “The eFantom is more than just a boat. It has the potential to revolutionise the world of boating. This project perfectly embodies Porsche’s path towards bringing sustainable performance into new dimensions.”  With the 2025 Meisterkreis Award, the collaboration between Frauscher shipyard and Porsche is recognised as a pioneering symbiosis between two industries. The 850 Fantom Air and the 850 Fantom demonstrate that sustainable innovation need not stand in contrast to emotion and exclusivity – on the contrary: they unite precision, design and technical excellence to open a new chapter in maritime mobility.

Mulder Honouring Legacy

Mulder has been building yachts since 1938, and its legacy is a central part of who they are. At the Maritime Center, two new initiatives safeguard and soon showcase this history.  A carefully curated collection of photographs, drawings, documents and models spanning nearly nine decades of Mulder craftsmanship. This archive forms the foundation for future research, storytelling and preservation efforts.  On the ground floor, a future Mulder Heritage Experience is taking shape. Over the next 1.5 to two years, this space will evolve into an immersive exhibition where visitors will walk through the story; from one of the first Mulder sailing yachts (currently under restoration) to the world-class superyachts Mulder buil'sd today. This “mini-museum” will celebrate our roots and bring the Mulder journey to life.

Mulder Maritime Center

Located only a few steps from the Mulder shipyard in Zoeterwoude, on Hoge Rijndijk 285, right beside the main facility at 277 the new Mulder Maritime Center marks an important milestone in the evolution of the family-owned shipyard.  This dedicated center brings together the people, tools and spaces that support the superyachts before, during and after their time at the yard. It is designed around craftsmanship, efficiency, comfort and the preservation of the Mulder heritage.   The Maritime Center is home to several new facilities that strengthen the way Mulder work with owners and their crew.  A fully equipped workspace where crew can operate comfortably while their yacht is undergoing maintenance or refit at the shipyard. Whether preparing itineraries, managing operations or coordinating technical work, the Crew Office provides a quiet and professional base right next door.  These four dedicated hubs, each with its own pantry and restroom offer secure storage for everything that belongs on board during a maintenance period. From furniture and décor to spare parts and personal items, each hub ensures that a yacht’s belongings are preserved in perfect condition while refit work is carried out.  Designed for both onboard crew and our own shipyard professionals, the new Training Center provides a space for knowledge building, safety instruction and skills development.  On friday, 14 November 2025, Mulder hosted it'sr very first session: an internal AI training with twenty team members.  The program explored meaningful, responsible and secure ways to use AI within our operations — a first step into a broader digital journey for Mulder Shipyard.

Mulder Yacht Returns to Her Origins

Every yacht has a story — some grand, some deeply personal. And while many return home to Mulder for a new chapter, few do so with such history and grace. The Mulder Wheelhouse 75 - Strathearn does just that. Twelve years after her launch, she retraces her wake across the Atlantic to the very yard where she first touched the water — a quiet homecoming that celebrates craftsmanship, heritage, and the enduring spirit of Mulder.  As hull number 95 and the eleventh yacht in the celebrated Wheelhouse series, she holds a special place in Mulder’s heritage — not just for her elegant lines and gentleman’s-yacht character, but for being the very first Wheelhouse to be completed at the then-new Zoeterwoude shipyard.  When Strathearn's aluminium hull arrived at the freshly opened facilities on 20 December 2012, the yard itself was still finding its footing — quite literally, as the new asphalt hadn’t even been laid yet. She became the first yacht lifted by the 100-ton four-wheel steered boat lift, a defining moment in Mulder’s evolution.  By the time she was launched on 1 June 2013, the yard in Zoeterwoude had come to life — a purpose-built space spanning 7,000 m², designed to bring together every facet of craftsmanship, from construction to finishing and refit.  With her round-bilged aluminium hull, refined walnut interior, and timeless proportions, Strathearn embodied Mulder’s spirit: where engineering meets artistry, and where every detail contributes to a greater whole.  Soon after her delivery, Strathearn crossed the Atlantic to her new home in Islesboro, Maine. For twelve years she graced the pristine waters of Penobscot Bay, weaving unforgettable memories for her owners amid its wooded islands and timeless harbors. Maine’s coastal beauty — from the quiet anchorages off Islesboro to the bustling summer ports of Camden and Rockland — became the perfect backdrop for a yacht built to create lasting moments.  It is a testament to Mulder’s dedication to craftsmanship and reliability that Strathearn has remained in the care of her original owner ever since, a true reflection of the enduring bond between yacht and family.  Now, twelve years later, Strathearn returns to her birthplace. Departing from the US in September, she crossed the Atlantic aboard a superyacht transport vessel, arriving safely in Amsterdam on 25 October under the guidance of the Mulder 360º Service team. Her journey through the Dutch inland waterways to Warmond, nestled on the scenic Kagerplassen, marked a quiet homecoming — one that reconnects her to the craftsmen who first brought her to life.  As she enters a new chapter under Mulder’s care, Strathearn reminds us what enduring quality truly means: a yacht built to last, designed to inspire, and forever capable of crafting memories — wherever her next story unfolds.

The spring and fall editions involved over 400 applications from 50 Italian universities and more than 100 young talents who, during the various events, took part in role-playing, group assessments and business cases.  The path towards an increasingly sustainable and participatory business model has also been formalized in the current Supplementary Company Agreement, which represents a first in the Italian nautical sector.  The agreement redefines corporate relations and responsibilities around three fundamental guidelines – innovation, sustainability and inclusivity – and introduces concrete tools to improve the quality of working life.  Training becomes a strategic pillar, parenthood is supported through dedicated welfare measures, while linguistic and cultural integration programs promote the inclusion of all employees, whether employed directly or through contractors. Among the most significant initiatives are the collective management of vacations and leave, fostering the sense of community and mutual support and the Family Care plan, which provides concrete measures for new parents and financial contributions for childcare services. All these actions express Sanlorenzo's desire to combine competitiveness and social responsibility, transforming the workplace into a true community of values.  Safety on the construction site is a core value for Sanlorenzo. This conviction gave rise to Safety Pause, an initiative designed to promote awareness and training on the culture of safety. The meetings, which began in 2024, combine testimonials, practical exercises, and moments of collective reflection. The October 2025 edition was dedicated to emergency management, with simulations of life-saving manoeuvres, also on paediatric mannequins, to make learning concrete. Safety Pause has become an identity-building event, a symbol of a shared commitment that strengthens the cohesion and awareness of everyone in the company.  All these initiatives demonstrate that at Sanlorenzo, putting people first is not merely an abstract principle but a daily commitment that takes shape through concrete and measurable actions. As a leader in the yacht industry, this achievement further strengthens Sanlorenzo’s vision of being a place where work becomes experience, community and shared value.

Sanlorenzo Arts Breathtaking by Fabrizio Ferri

As the curtain falls on Breathtaking, the inaugural exhibition at Casa Sanlorenzo, Sanlorenzo celebrates a milestone that extends far beyond art. Since its opening in September, the immersive installation by the Italian photographer Fabrizio Ferri has drawn thousands of visitors and captured global attention — establishing Casa Sanlorenzo as a new cultural landmark where art, design, and sustainability converge.  More than an artistic experience, Breathtaking is preparing the beginning of a broader cultural journey — one that continues in 2026.  ‘’We are proud to have opened Casa Sanlorenzo, a place that reflects our deepest values” said Massimo Perotti, Executive Chairman Sanlorenzo. “Inaugurating this space with Breathtaking was a powerful choice: the public’s response confirming how urgent and shared these issues are today. Through Sanlorenzo Arts, we continue to stand as advocates for a more conscious future — where luxury is not only about excellence, but about meaning’’.  Located in a restored 1940s villa overlooking the Basilica of Santa Maria della Salute, Casa Sanlorenzo was conceived by the Maison and designed by Piero Lissoni as a space where design, dialogue, and environmental awareness intersect. Opened during Venice Climate Week and the Biennale Architettura 2025, the 1,000-square-metre venue with its expansive garden provides an extraordinary setting for exhibitions and interdisciplinary encounters exploring the relationship between art, sustainability and innovation.  Casa Sanlorenzo embodies the belief that true luxury lies not only in aesthetics and craftsmanship, but in fostering awareness, inspiring change and creating meaningful connections. It is a place where beauty serves a purpose — and where the future is imagined through collaboration and reflection.  Presented by Sanlorenzo Arts, Breathtaking transformed the silent rooms of Casa Sanlorenzo into a haunting meditation on ocean pollution. Through 13 large-scale portraits of leading public figures encased in plastic recovered from the sea, Ferri evoked both the suffocation of marine ecosystems and the fragility of life.  Visitors experienced the exhibition in silence through noise-cancelling headphones — an idea conceived in collaboration with Marina Abramović — while a central glass coffin filled with seawater symbolised both beauty and loss.  Over its three-month run, Breathtaking welcomed more than 5.000 visitors and reached many thousands more online, sparking reflection and dialogue across international media and social platforms. Described by visitors as “unsettling,” “necessary,” and “unforgettable,” the installation became a collective act of awareness and emotion — transforming Casa Sanlorenzo into a space where beauty became consciousness.  The closing weekend of Breathtaking bring together the Venetian community and guests from around the world. On Friday, 21 November, Casa Sanlorenzo will welcome its guests for a dockside reception in honour of the Madonna della Salute, celebrating the enduring bond between art, territory and tradition.  On Saturday, 22 November, Fondazione Sanlorenzo — the philanthropic foundation established by the Perotti family — will host a fundraising dinner in support of educational programmes for students from underserved island communities.  As Breathtaking draws to a close, Sanlorenzo reaffirms its long-term vision for Casa Sanlorenzo: to continue building a space where art challenges, design inspires and sustainability unites. Through this first chapter, the Maison has not only created a new cultural home in Venice but also set in motion a purpose-driven dialogue that will evolve in the years ahead — a journey in which art is not decoration, but conscience, and beauty becomes a force for change.

Archipelago Yachts Awarded UK Innovate Funding

Archipelago Yachts, in collaboration with Chartwell Marine, has been awarded funding through the UK Government’s Clean Maritime Demonstration Competition (Round 6), delivered by Innovate UK as part of the UK SHORE programme.  The winning project, titled “Methanol Pathfinder UK”, will develop and prototype an advanced methanol range-extension and propulsion system for electric vessels, a key milestone in the UK’s drive toward zero-emission maritime transport.  Building on earlier Innovate UK-supported work, this seven month project will focus on developing a scalable, commercially viable methanol-based energy system that enables extended range for electric vessels, with the potential to eliminate combustion engines. The approach reformulates how methanol can be used as a clean, efficient energy carrier. By converting it into low-pressure hydrogen to generate power onboard, it provides a practical and safe alternative to traditional marine fuels.  Dr Stephen Weatherley, CEO of Archipelago Yachts, said: “This Innovate UK funding marks an exciting next step in our mission to bring real-world, zero-emission solutions to the water. Methanol offers a clean, flexible, and scalable pathway to decarbonising maritime operations. By focusing on range extension for electric vessels, we’re accelerating technology that can be adopted broadly across both commercial and leisure markets.”  The Methanol Pathfinder UK project brings together a consortium of British marine innovators including Archipelago Yachts and Chartwell Marine, supported by expert subcontractors such as Blue Deep International, E1 Marine, and Auriga Energy. Collectively, the group combines deep expertise in vessel design, propulsion integration, and clean energy systems.  Together, the consortium will prototype and test a modular methanol-to-hydrogen range-extension system, designed to integrate seamlessly with electric propulsion platforms. The project will also contribute valuable data and insights to UK regulators and industry partners, helping shape emerging standards for methanol use in maritime applications.  The project forms part of the UK SHORE (Shipping Office for Reducing Emissions) programme, a flagship government initiative supporting innovation across the UK’s maritime sector to deliver net zero. Through this funding, Archipelago Yachts and its partners are supporting regional growth, enhancing domestic supply chains, and strengthening the UK’s leadership in sustainable shipbuilding and marine technology.  Andy Page, Managing Director of Chartwell Marine, added “Methanol has huge potential as a clean marine fuel, but the technology and integration challenges need real-world testing. This project will demonstrate how UK expertise can lead the way in creating practical solutions for decarbonising offshore, commercial, and leisure vessels alike.”  The Methanol Pathfinder UK prototype will serve as a vital step toward future vessel deployments, including offshore wind support vessels, pilot boats, and explorer yachts.

Azimut Renovate Avigliana Headquarters

A few months after the official inauguration, Azimut Yachts renovated headquarters is fully operational and, since the beginning of September, has been welcoming the approximately 1,500 employees who work in Avigliana.  The entire project, part of a €50 million investment plan for the production site, was overseen by the artistic direction of AMDL CIRCLE and Michele De Lucchi, who also curated the restyling of the main building and the construction of the new multifunctional pavilion.  The Studio is a long-time creative partner: the collaboration with the Shipyard began more than ten years ago, when they were entrusted with the design of all Azimut Yachts lounges worldwide. Since then, the dialogue has evolved through shared projects and visions, such as the creation of the iconic installation at Bagni Misteriosi, where Seadeck 7 was 'anchored' in the pool during Milan Design Week 2024, to the most recent chapter revealed at the Cannes Yachting Festival: the new Magellano 27M, marking the first collaboration with AMDL Studio and Michele De Lucchi in the design of a yacht's interiors.  The employees' offices were completely renovated based on an architectural design by Settanta7. The plan also included a significant energy efficiency upgrade.  With the full support of Chair Giovanna Vitelli, the project marks an evolution of Azimut's work model, focusing on collaboration and teamwork and moving beyond traditional hierarchical structures, even in the configuration of the workplace. This initiative comes at an emblematic moment in the Company's history, the successful generational transition. It is a tangible sign of a shift in culture: the family's entrepreneurial vision meets modern governance, drawing on internal and external talent. The result is a new leadership model, shared and open, that focuses on the future to generate solid and resilient growth.  The inspiration for the renovation project stems from a dialogue between past and future, history and innovation, aimed at sensitively reinterpreting the original architectural concept of the renowned Gabetti & Isola, protagonists of 20th-century Italian architecture who, in the 1990s, designed the Azimut|Benetti Group headquarters in Piedmont, Liguria, and Tuscany.  AMDL CIRCLE reinterprets the original project and enriches it with a new element: the entrance pavilion, the first stop on the new heritage walk that takes you through Azimut's bold and glamorous history. This is an avowedly contemporary gesture, remembering the past and projecting it forward, translating Azimut's identity into architectural form.  "I had the image of the Louvre pyramid in mind. A statement of changing times, but above all a sign of how the new finds its full power in its relationship with the grandeur of the past. Azimut has a history spanning more than fifty years, and the best way to honor it is to continue evolving, as my father always did," explains Giovanna Vitelli.  The new pavilion expresses poetic game of contrasts: the essential, metallic volume, reminiscent of the nautical world, rests on the historic brick structure. The water feature’s surface reflects the models of Azimut's "firsts", a tribute to the key stylistic and technological innovations of the yachts born in the mountains to revolutionize the way we experience the sea. Among these, the introduction in 2003 of hull glazing in place of traditional portholes, to bring natural light into the cabins: a visionary choice that is echoed today in the new Avigliana headquarters, with the windows extended for floor-to-ceiling glazing, underscoring the continuity between nautical innovation and the design language of this project.  The panoramic meeting rooms Gogamigoga, Goga and Goghina – named after Paolo Vitelli's boats, who with Piedmontese understatement chose a name that can be translated into Italian as "darsi alla bella vita", in the ironic sense of "giving oneself to the good life" – thus ideally and literally frame the Sacra di San Michele, which dominates the entrance to the Susa Valley: transparency – material, visual and conceptual – is established as a key concept throughout the project.  Transparency becomes the manifesto of an architectural language that transcends pure aesthetics to give shape to Azimut's vision: a work culture based on openness, connection, and trust. This philosophy comes to life in the layout and design of the new offices, where the Company's values have guided every choice: transparency, collaboration, flexibility, and innovation are reflected in spaces where glass replaces walls, and shared environments replace closed and oversized executive offices.  This concept transcends the interior and redefines the way Azimut opens up to the world. Its pinnacle is the new Virtual Reality room, the creative and technological heart of the building: a space where the Technical and Style Offices collaborate daily, and which also welcomes guests, particularly owners. The yacht's hyper-technological "cuisine en scène," where choosing layouts, furnishings, colors, and fabrics becomes an immersive and personalized experience through virtual reality.

Azimut do Brazil New CEO

The appointment marks a new phase of development for the Group's subsidiary, which consolidates its industrial and commercial leadership in Brazil and accelerates its growth plan in the region.  Azimut Yachts announces the appointment of Carlo Alberto Sisto as Chief Executive Officer of Azimut do Brasil, the Group's subsidiary dedicated to local production and the brand's strategic development in the Brazilian market.  The appointment represents a strategic step in Azimut's long-term vision, which aims to consolidate the brand’s global presence by leveraging manufacturing excellence, industrial strength, and innovation in one of the world's most dynamic markets. The Itajaí shipyard confirms its position as a strategic industrial hub for the entire region, where Azimut holds a consolidated leadership, strengthened by the success of the large-boat segment produced in Brazil and by constant growth in commercial and production performance.  Carlo Alberto Sisto will lead Azimut do Brasil, setting the subsidiary's strategic and industrial course, in close collaboration with Commercial Director Roy Capasso, who will report directly to him. Under the new leadership, the company will accelerate the implementation of the approved development and investment plan, aimed at strengthening production capacity, supporting brand expansion, and bringing innovation to the market through the progressive renewal of the range.  Carlo Alberto Sisto brings a solid international profile to Azimut, with over 25 years of experience at CNH Industrial, a global leader in the capital goods sector, where he held senior roles in North America, Europe, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific, developing in-depth financial, operational, and strategic expertise.  His career is marked by a deep connection to Latin America – and Brazil in particular – markets for which he possesses strategic and operational knowledge gained through years of direct field responsibility. At CNH Industrial, he held key positions, including President of Banco CNH Capital in Curitiba and CFO of CNH Industrial Brazil in Belo Horizonte, with responsibility for the operations of CNH and IVECO. He subsequently served in the United States as President of CNH Capital North America.  In the most recent phase of his career, he expanded his experience in the industrial sector, first as Executive President of the EMEA Region of CNH Industrial and subsequently as Executive Advisor for the Cogne Acciai Speciali Group, part of the Walsin Lihwa Corporation, contributing his strategic vision to the evolution of DMV GmbH.  Founded in 2010, Azimut do Brasil is one of the leading nautical companies in South America, with local production including several models from the Azimut Fly and Grande Series for both the domestic and export markets. With over 600 employees and a production of over 40 vessels last season, the Brazilian subsidiary remains a driver of growth and innovation for the Group.  Under Sisto's new leadership, the company will continue to invest in industrial development, quality, and training, consolidating Azimut's role as a global leader in high-end yachting.

Azimut do Brazil New Organisation Structure

A change in leadership at Azimut do Brasil has been announced by the CEO of the parent company, Azimut|Benetti. The decision is part of the strategy aimed at consolidating growth and accelerating the Group's strategic investment plan in the country. From the headquarters of Azimut do Brasil in Itajaí (Santa Catarina), Marco Valle, CEO of the Azimut|Benetti Group, the world's largest megayacht builder, announced a change in leadership at the Brazilian subsidiary. He also confirmed the local investment plan, emphasizing the country's strategic role for the Group. After ending its collaboration with previous CEO, Francesco Caputo, and previous sales manager, Gustavo Hoffmann, due to a breach of trust, the company has appointed Andrea Consolini, currently Chief Financial Officer, as interim CEO of the Brazilian subsidiary of Azimut Yachts. The governance is further strengthened by the appointment of Roy Capasso, a manager with extensive and consolidated international experience in the nautical sector, as Commercial Director. Azimut do Brasil confirms its position as a leader in high-end yachts in the local market and a consolidated industrial player, with over 15 years of activity, approximately 600 employees, and a production volume that exceeded 40 vessels last season. The Group intends to lead a new phase of development, accelerating the implementation of the investments defined in the plan approved in November 2024 and, to this end, it will also make use of the mandate assigned to its board member, Giorgio Gallia. The plan is structured around three strategic priorities: Continue to improve production, support growth by expanding industrial capacity, implement the range renewal program, with the development of new models that confirm the brand's competitive positioning, a strategy underscored by the commercial success of the Grande 25M, presented last July. "With this reorganization, we reaffirm Brazil's centrality as a key market and a cornerstone of Azimut's global strategy, demonstrating our commitment to structured investments that support long-term growth," said Marco Valle, CEO of the Azimut|Benetti Group. Azimut do Brasil looks to the future with strengthened governance and structured investments, aiming to consolidate its growth in the country and contribute to the global growth of Azimut Yachts.

In the transaction, the sellers were assisted on legal matters by Poggi & Associati.

And though the brand itself is young, the yard behind it has been building faultless aluminum hulls on behalf of the best-known Italian shipyards.  “We know the 40-80ft yachting segment exceptionally well,” said Forte co-founder Fernando Moricca. “We wanted to put this expertise to better use, so we founded Forte Yachts to develop our own ideas. We expect our first model, the Forte 47, to appeal strongly to American boaters, so we are delighted to have reached this agreement with Genesis in Fort Lauderdale.”

Horizon Successful US Tour

Horizon Yacht Europe is delighted to conclude its successful participation in an exciting series of Mediterranean events. Two distinctive additions to the acclaimed Fast Displacement (FD) Series — the FD80 Skyline (Hull #15) and the FD100 Tri-Deck (Hull #12) — made their much-anticipated European debuts, drawing strong interest from yacht owners, brokers, and media alike.  Horizon’s dynamic schedule featured appearances at three of Europe’s most prestigious shows: the world-renowned Cannes Yachting Festival, the iconic Monaco Yacht Show, and the newly revitalised Barcelona Boat Show. This tour effectively showcased the FD Series’ contemporary design language and intelligent, high-volume engineering.  Visitors praised the yachts’ innovative approach to space — delivering expansive interiors that feel far larger than their measured length — along with fluid indoor-outdoor transitions that enhance onboard living. With their elegant craftsmanship and refined details, both models perfectly embodied Horizon’s dedication to combining aesthetics, functionality, and comfort for Mediterranean cruising.  The excitement surrounding the new FD models quickly translated into strong commercial traction. Both yachts attracted significant buyer interest, and advanced negotiations are already underway with prospective owners — reaffirming the growing demand for Horizon’s bespoke blend of style, innovation, and functional design in Europe.  The success of this European show season sets a high benchmark for Horizon Yacht Europe as it looks ahead to the coming year.  The 2026 schedule will include major appearances at Boot Düsseldorf, the Palma International Boat Show, and exclusive private showcases, culminating in the biennial Horizon Open House in Kaohsiung — a highlight of the global yachting calendar.  Horizon looks forward to welcoming clients and media at these upcoming events to present the latest yacht developments, discuss custom new builds, and celebrate the shipyard’s enduring heritage of innovation, quality, and craftsmanship.

Leopard Catamarans Raises Customer Support and Service Excellence

Leopard Catamarans, the industry-leading, performance-driven blue water cruising catamaran brand from South African builder Robertson and Caine (R&C), announces that it has achieved an impressive 95% customer satisfaction rate, supporting countless successful transoceanic voyages conducted by its clients.  Consistently proving that exceptional customer service and world-class engineering go hand in hand, Leopard Catamarans views customer feedback as one of its most valuable metrics for improvement and an opportunity to try and raise industry standards. Since its establishment in 1997, Leopard Catamarans has operated its business on a "customer-first philosophy", leading to its continuous improvement culture.  Using client feedback given over the years as the basis for actionable improvements to its customer support and service, Leopard Catamarans' leadership teams regularly review customer communications, warranty claims, and service interactions to identify areas for potential improvement, allowing customer insights to directly influence different aspects of its operations, from manufacturing to support team training.  Some of the recent improvements to Leopard Catamarans' customer support and service solutions include a revised communication system, an enhanced warranty process, and an expanded support team. Leopard Catamarans recently invested in upgrading its customer communication channels, significantly reducing response times and increasing accessibility through dedicated digital platforms and support lines. Earlier this year, Leopard Catamarans also introduced its renewed warranty process, which is designed to be more transparent and efficient, featuring faster resolution times, clearer procedures, and digital tools allowing real-time claim tracking. Leopard Catamarans has also made substantial investments in specialized expertise and training programs for its customer support team, hiring new members and providing global coverage, offering all its clients consistent, high-quality support regardless of location.  Together, these developments mean that Leopard Catamaran owners regularly report how their catamaran experiences exceed their expectations, both in terms of the yacht's performance and the support they receive throughout their ownership journey.  Antoine and Alex, owners of a Leopard 50, exemplify Leopard's confidence-building approach after completing an Atlantic crossing with their children. "We've handled rough passages, including 19 days crossing the Atlantic, and never questioned the boat's capability. It’s a lot of boat, but with practice, it inspires confidence,” said Alex. Full-time cruisers, the craftsmanship, space, platform, and practicality of Leopard Catamarans meant that the family can enjoy a full-grid cruising life year-round. “Leopard gave us the platform to make it work”.  Repeat customers Nadim and Nayla Yared, who upgraded from a Leopard 45 sailing catamaran to a Leopard 53 powercat, further illustrate how Leopard Catamarans' customer service created lasting relationships. "The Leopard team has been fantastic—always open, communicative, and responsive. The construction is rock solid, and the flow inside the cockpits and salon is unmatched," said Nadim. The two add that outside of the catamarans’ engineering, Leopard’s refined warranty process and exceptional customer service team have elevated their ownership experience.  Leopard Catamarans' dedicated approach to customer service contrasts with the reactive model common in the yachting industry today. The brand’s charter heritage further forms its service philosophy, creating systems designed for real-world use and practical problem-solving that understand actual owner challenges.

Majesty 2025 European Tour

Majesty concluded its 2025 European Tour with back-to-back showings at the Cannes Yachting Festival, Open Days in Beaulieu-Sur-Mer and the Monaco Yacht Show, reinforcing the brand’s growing presence in Europe and underlining the shipyard’s long-term commitment to the region. Across the events, Majesty showcased hallmark craftsmanship and award-winning innovation. A year on from its concept reveal, the Majesty 100 Terrace made its full European debut to an outstanding reception. Co-designed with Phathom Studio (Netherlands), the 100-ft model introduces a private owner’s bow-terrace, fold-down balconies, full walk-around decks and five luxurious staterooms, equally suited to private ownership and charter operations. Building on this momentum, the displayed Majesty 100 Terrace hull has now been sold. At Cannes, Gulf Craft hosted a dedicated press conference at the Majesty stand, welcoming forty plus journalists from leading industry titles – another marker of the brand’s strengthened European focus. During the Cannes closing weekend, Majesty secured two honours at the 2025 World Yachts Trophies: Majesty 100 Terrace for Best Evolution and Majesty 112 Terrace for Best Semi-Custom Yacht. Both yachts feature exterior and interior design developed in collaboration with Phathom Studio in the Netherlands, whose representatives joined the shipyard’s team on stage to receive the trophies. At the start of Monaco show week, Gulf Craft’s CEO, Erwin Bamps, took the stage at two industry forums – the Superyacht Builder Summit on 23 September and the Superyacht Law Summit on 24 September – where he addressed market trends, challenges and opportunities in the global superyacht industry. Majesty went to both Mediterranean shows with new and solid partners, including Denison Yachting, which dealership for the US market was announced just a few weeks prior to Cannes Yachting Festival. The strong interest and increased footfall during the show culminated in several yacht sales, including the confirmation of a Majesty 160 – the range’s second-largest superyacht – destined for the US.

Next Yacht Group Launches AI Assistant

A digital concierge that knows every detail of the yacht, supporting both owner and crew in daily operations while ensuring security, privacy, and total reliability thanks to continuous functionality even without internet or cloud connectivity — this is the latest innovation in Artificial Intelligence applied to yachting that Next Yacht Group—the Italian excellence behind the AB Yachts and Maiora brands—will unveil aboard its AB 110, making its market debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), from October 29 to November 2, 2025. Next AI-Integrated System is the first proprietary local-first integrated AI platform, installed directly on board.  Developed in partnership with AI Technologies, a leading Italian company in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, and integrated with onboard systems by YES Group, a System Integrator with long-standing experience in the nautical sector, the AI assistant enables control of all yacht functions — lighting, climate, scenarios, entertainment — as well as access to system data such as fuel and water levels, energy consumption, alarms, and maintenance schedules.  It operates fully offline, ensuring data protection and constant, rapid response times.  This cutting-edge solution continues the Group’s path toward digital transformation and innovation.  Modern yachts host dozens of heterogeneous systems, each with its own software and interface — from automation to security, entertainment to monitoring — often resulting in fragmented commands and dispersed data. Unlike cloud-based systems, which depend on connectivity and may compromise the confidentiality of technical data, Next AI-Integrated System introduces a new paradigm: a local digital brain that functions independently and autonomously.  With Next AI-Integrated System, the owner’s privacy is fully protected: all data and conversations remain entirely on board. Core functions are processed locally; 5G/WAN connectivity is optional and used only for remote read-only access.  The first release — debuting at FLIBS with live demos and real-world use cases on an AB 110 model — introduces the assistant in a text-based chat mode integrated within the new My AB and My Maiora proprietary apps, the primary interfaces for managing the AI system.  “With this highly innovative project, we are redefining the onboard experience,” said Giorgio Mattei, Deputy Chairman of Next Yacht Group. “For the owner, luxury means simplicity and control. We’re offering an assistant that works anytime, anywhere — even in the middle of the ocean, without internet — safely, continuously, and reliably. It’s an Artificial Intelligence that belongs to the yacht and its family, not to the cloud. Our approach is local-first: data, models, and decisions remain on board. The AI provides verifiable answers, secure commands, and deep integration with the yacht’s systems. In our development roadmap, we plan to introduce new features and services, such as always-on voice activation with a dedicated wake word, and predictive maintenance.”  Next AI-Integrated System is a proprietary project by Next Yacht Group and will be available across the shipyard’s entire range starting in 2026.

Okean Celebrates Ten Years

Ten years in which Okean has sailed beyond borders through waters that carry stories, dreams, and freedom. What was born here was more than yachts — it was experiences, new ways of feeling the sea, in a way only those who truly love navigation can imagine.  From the Brazilian coast to the oceans of the world, each delivery is a continuation of this story — a reminder that the sea is not just a path, but an invitation.  An invitation to experience freedom, to discover the poetry hidden in every moment at sea, to embrace the different, and to appreciate the art of living aboard an Okean.  Throughout this decade, Okean has measured more than just feet delivered — now surpassing 3,200 — it has measured the immeasurable: moments lived, journeys shared, and the meeting of people with what is most genuine in the art of navigation.  And so Okean continues — irreverent, elegant, constant. Always guided by the same purpose of those born from a love of the sea, believing that the true difference lies in the experience, in the feeling that remains when the decks open and the horizon reveals itself.  Ten years sailing not only across seas, but through the very essence of what it means to live the ocean. Because for us, to navigate is to come closer to the infinite.

This collaboration brings OMAYA's innovative catamaran designs to Dutch waters and beyond, meeting growing demand for high-quality, modern yachts designed for extended cruising and onboard living.  The partnership unites two family-owned businesses that share a commitment to quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service. Following the successful introduction of the OMAYA 50 at the Cannes Yachting Festival, this collaboration positions both companies to capitalise on emerging trends in the luxury yacht sector.  Kaloyan Radulov, CEO of Omaya Yachts, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: "We are excited to partner with Natural Yachts as we expand Omaya’s presence in Northern Europe. We look forward to presenting the OMAYA 50 and see great potential for the Northern European market."  The timing of this partnership reflects evolving market dynamics in the Netherlands and broader Northern Europe. While multihull vessels are still emerging as a trend in the Dutch market, Natural Yachts' research identified strong consumer interest in this category. The OMAYA 50's emphasis on comfortable lifestyle, efficient boating, and extended onboard living aligns perfectly with what discerning customers are seeking.  Natural Yachts will provide comprehensive support for OMAYA customers throughout the Netherlands, including sales consultation, after-sales service, and exclusive events at their Experience Centre. The company's service network extends across Europe, with its yard serving the immediate boating area and mobile service teams supporting vessels throughout the continent. This infrastructure ensures Omaya owners receive world-class support wherever their adventures take them.

Sacs Tecnorib Leading Role at ADI Design Museum in Milan

In a setting of international importance such as the ADI design Museum in Milan – a symbolic place of Italian design recognised worldwide - SACS Tecnorib played a leading role in the "Design that Unites - Enterprise, Training, Vision" seminar promoted by MBCIRCLE, in collaboration with IED Milan.  On Monday 20 October, the leading boatyard in the maxi-rib sector spoke of how design is today the engine that drives industrial growth, technological innovation and the development of Made in Italy, testifying how the culture of design can be a bridge between different worlds.  Prominent voices from the Italian creative and production scene took turns on stage. Matteo Magni, Chairman and CEO of SACS Tecnorib, spoke about the business history of the boatyard and the strategy that led the SACS Strider, REBEL and Pirelli Speedboats brands to become an international industry benchmark. Architect Christian Grande, a central figure in contemporary yachting and designer of choice for the Brianza-based company, presented his expertise in industrial design as a competitive and cultural lever. Nicola Antonelli CMO of SACS Tecnorib, on the other hand, presented the positive impact of this philosophy on the strategic path the company has undertaken while Giacomo Bertolazzi, Head of Design School - IED Milan, spoke of the role of academic education in building the skills of tomorrow.  The moderator of the evening, Architect Mario Redaelli, MBCIRCLE associate and IED lecturer, accompanied the speeches, intertwining the academic and business perspectives.  The meeting, created to present the strength of design as a competitive lever and an element of connection between business, academia and design culture, was also an opportunity for SACS Tecnorib to celebrate the best IED theses of the students of the product design course: in the brief, they were asked to imagine future scenarios that would lead to the development of innovative concepts for maxi-ribs and luxury tenders, redefining the way we move on water. The event concluded with the presentation of a merit award to the most promising project. A gesture that underlines SACS Tecnorib's ongoing commitment to supporting the growth of young talent and promoting constant dialogue between education and industry.  “At a time in history when innovation involves dialogue and the contamination of knowledge, being able to share our journey and a moment of reflection on the value of the relationships that generate vision and the future was a privilege” said Matteo Magni on the side lines of the event, taking the opportunity to reiterate his idea of design not only as an aesthetic expression but as a tool for continuous product evolution.

Sacs Tecnorib with Mar Garrente at Florence Biennale

From 18 to 26 October, the Florence Biennale of Contemporary Art, one of the world’s most prestigious events dedicated to art and design, featured Mar Garrente, a futuristic sculpture commissioned by Sacs Tecnorib and brought to life by designer Christian Grande and Henraux, a renowned Italian marble craft company.  Sculpted from Bianco Altissimo marble, Mar Garrente is the result of a concept developed by Sacs Tecnorib that explores the principles of Futurism and the dynamic intersection of art, design, and material. The work invited viewers to consider how seemingly distinct disciplines can harmoniously coexist, breaking free from traditional boundaries.  The use of marble, a material deeply rooted in classical tradition, establishes a dialogue with the history of sculpture. At the same time, the piece’s fluid lines and rhythmic structure evoke the motion and energy of modernity. In this interplay between stillness and movement, the sculpture generates a kind of "visual noise": a vibration that recalls the wind, the sea, and the power of the waves. These elements become metaphors for a constantly evolving creative force.  “We sought a work of art that would recount our story while looking ahead,” says Nicola Antonelli, Chief Marketing Officer of Sacs Tecnorib.  For Christian Grande, the challenge was to “capture the distinctive stylistic codes of the brand and translate them into an iconic symbol.”  The result is not self-celebratory, but a forward-looking design statement: a concept inspired by a high-performance Sport Coupé boat, conveying speed, energy, power, and solidity.  With this project, Sacs Tecnorib reaffirms its commitment to stylistic innovation while hinting at the future of nautical design. The visual language of Mar Garrente will influence upcoming models, both marking a new chapter for the brand and offering a glimpse of what lies ahead.

Sanlorenzo Opens New Headquarters at Pier Sixty-Six

Today marks a milestone in Sanlorenzo’s journey: the opening of its new Americas headquarters at Pier Sixty-Six in Fort Lauderdale — the heart of the world’s yachting capital.  Designed by Piero Lissoni, Sanlorenzo’s Art Director, the space embodies the brand’s philosophy of timeless design, architectural clarity, and a deep connection with the sea. It brings Italian artistry to Florida’s shores, offering an experience that unites a growing community of owners.  As Chairman and CEO Massimo Perotti notes: “Our new home at Pier Sixty-Six stands as a tangible symbol of Sanlorenzo’s commitment to the Americas — a place where design, innovation, and community meet.”  This opening underscores Sanlorenzo’s strong growth in the region.  In the first half of 2025, the Americas accounted for €95.3 million in new yacht revenues, up 38.6% year-on-year and representing over 20% of Sanlorenzo’s global total.  Today, half of our U.S. clients are repeat owners, with 20% newcomers to yachting and 30% arriving from other brands. More than 100 Sanlorenzo yachts are now based in the Americas, with around 30% proudly sailing under the U.S. flag, a reflection of the brand’s growing presence across Florida, New England, and the East Coast.  American yachts express a distinct lifestyle - open, social spaces, generous bars, and air-conditioned indoor–outdoor living, particularly popular in the Northeast. To meet these preferences, Sanlorenzo collaborates with U.S. designer Marty Lowe, who bridges Lissoni’s architectural elegance with the tastes of the American owner.  At the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, Sanlorenzo presents three U.S. premieres — the SL86A, SX100, and SP92 — alongside the BGM75 from Bluegame. Each reflects the brand’s dedication to design, innovation, and a uniquely personal experience of the sea.  “With each of these yachts, we’re showing our Americas community how performance and lifestyle can coexist beautifully on the water,” adds Pietro Berardi, CEO of Sanlorenzo of the Americas.  “Our growth in this mature yachting region reflects a deepening appreciation for the Sanlorenzo difference — Italian craftsmanship, architectural excellence, and a spirit of innovation that defines our brand.”  Welcome to our new home by the water — where Italian design meets the spirit of the Americas.

Sirena Yachts New Exclusive United Kingdom Dealer

Leading Turkish yacht builder Sirena Yachts has appointed Virage Yachts as its exclusive UK dealer, strengthening its presence in a key European market.  Ross Donohoe, International Sales Manager at Virage Yachts – who has over two decades’ worth of experience under his belt – anticipates that the Sirena 48, the Sirena 48 Coupe and the recently-unveiled Sirena 60 will be particularly well-received amongst UK buyers.  Donohoe says: “For those seeking to explore UK waters with enhanced comfort, capability, and performance, Sirena yachts present the ideal solution, perfectly suited to both experienced owners and those entering the motor yacht market for the first time.”  He continues: “We are honoured to have been appointed as the official UK dealer for Sirena Yachts. This partnership strengthens our long-standing relationship with this dynamic Turkish shipyard, renowned for its exceptional build quality, innovation, and efficiency. We are excited to introduce the first Sirena 48 to the UK at the 2026 Swanwick Boat Show, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the brand in this market.”  Ali Onger, Chief Commercial Officer at Sirena Marine, says: “With the announcement of our new dealer, the future is looking bright for Sirena Yachts in the UK. Our instinct is that many UK owners are going to appreciate the impressive volume and comfort of our boats, whilst also being technology-led and appreciating the technical capabilities of our boats – perhaps even as owner operators themselves.”  The news comes hot on the heels of the debut of the Sirena 60 at the Cannes International Boat Show in September. Well-received at the show, the Sirena 60 represents the natural evolution of Sirena’s successful Sirena 58, benefiting from an extended swim platform, a refined hull design which reduces its environmental impact and enviable long-range cruising capabilities.  In addition, the Sirena 48 is set to make its UK debut at both the Swanwick and Southampton Boat shows next year.

Viking at Bisbee's Los Cabos Offshore Tournament

No Limits Fishing, a Viking 61, took top billfish honors at the Bisbee’s Los Cabos Offshore tournament. Captain Jeffry Villarroel put Brian Spicer on a 432-pound black marlin on the final day of fishing. That fish translated to a six-figure check.  A total of 139 teams and 880 anglers competed and fished out of both the Pacific Ocean and Sea of Cortez off Baja California’s southernmost tip. During the three days of fishing, 369 billfish were tallied, including 99 blue marlin, 116 sails,148 striped marlin and six blacks. “That was a fine tune-up,” said Tournament Director Wayne Bisbee. “Hopefully that’s a good omen for the Black & Blue.”

Viking at MONGO Offshore Challenge

The MONGO Offshore Challenge is more than just a fishing event. It creates an umbrella from which boats throughout the Gulf and the Mid-Atlantic can compete in the quest to catch the biggest fish. Viking Appreciation Clam Bake

Viking’s annual Employee Appreciation Clam Bake was another smashing success on a picture-perfect Indian Summer Day. The theme that emerged throughout the event was SMILES. Big and little, sticky and sweet – there were happy faces everywhere. Giggles and laughter rang out as the boatbuilders and their families enjoyed lip-smacking, delicious food and activities for all ages. They also went on tours of the factory and world-class yachts.  “The Clam Bake is an incredible day for our boatbuilders and their families,” said Viking President and CEO Pat Healey. “To see everyone together — including second and third generations — makes it really special. It’s rewarding to share this time and show how much we appreciate everything they do.”
