This strong backing provides AIATA with the stability, resources and long-term vision needed to support its growing international expansion.  These latest appointments reflect AIATA’s ongoing commitment to expanding its international dealer network and enhancing customer support across key boating markets. As the brand continues its global growth journey, AIATA remains focused on delivering innovative products, premium ownership experiences and strong local representation worldwide.

Azimut-Benetti Group New Investment in Tuscany

Over the past five years, the Azimut|Benetti Group has recorded extraordinary industrial growth: production value has doubled, rising from €758 million in 2020 to €1.56 billion in 2025 (+100%).  This solid trajectory has been matched by a structural evolution within the company: the Group’s ascent in international markets has been supported by a continuous strengthening of technical expertise, investment in advanced manufacturing capabilities, and cutting-edge engineering able to anticipate future industry standards.  Tuscany remains the operational core of the Azimut|Benetti Group’s superyacht division. With 14 industrial sites across the region – located in Viareggio, Livorno, Massa and Pisa – the area alone generates 70% of the Group’s global results.  Following €77 million already invested in Tuscany over the past three years, the Group has planned an additional €100 million for the 2026–2028 period.  This new investment cycle aims not only to expand production capacity and enhance safety, but also to consolidate the engineering and technological know-how that defines the brand’s identity.  Expansion of production capacity — enlargement of sheds, introduction of new travel lifts, and strengthening of production and safety systems. Energy transition — efficiency upgrades and installation of photovoltaic systems.  Management and Hospitality — redesign and refurbishment of executive offices and client reception areas.  Product development — continuous investment in new yacht models, materials and technologies.  Strengthening of Lusben Refit operations — enhancement of facilities and production capabilities dedicated to refit activities.  The increase in production volumes has been matched by a significant enhancement of human capital. Between 2020 and 2026, the Group’s workforce in Tuscany has nearly doubled. Direct employees have grown from 442 to 607 over the past five years, while the most substantial expansion has occurred within the supply chain. Today, the Tuscan sites register 3,800 daily presences, representing a consolidated network of over 1,000 companies working alongside the Group’s workforce.  Alongside structural investments, the Group continues to support the strategic development of expertise. The recruitment of specialised professionals and ongoing training programmes has elevated both the design complexity and the construction precision of every yacht. A pivotal role in this process is played by the ISYL Foundation – Italian Super Yacht Life, of which the Group is a founding member. Through ISYL, Benetti directly contributes to shaping training programmes and transferring its industrial know-how, supporting the professional growth of young talents. Since 2015, over 600 graduates have embarked on their professional careers, confirming a school to industry integration model that is rare in Italy and particularly advanced within the sector.

Bayliss Supports Manteo Middle School Boat Building Program

Our deep appreciation for the individuals who dedicate themselves to the boatbuilding industry is rooted in a simple truth: every builder’s skill and passion must start somewhere. This is why the boatbuilding programs at  Middle and High School are so dear to Bayliss. In a rare achievement for this day and age, a talented 7th-grade class just wheeled out the third boat they have built as a team over the last year and a half. This impressive effort was proudly led by local boatbuilder Glenn Bradley and his daughter Stevie, a 7th-grade teacher, with support from the Dare County Boat Builders Foundation.  Extending boatbuilding programs down the North Carolina coast, Cape Fear Community College has partnered with Bayliss Boatworks to provide students with a hands-on learning experience. Students in CFCC’s Boat Manufacturing and Wooden Boat Building programs will construct a 21-foot center-console boat using design plans, materials, and equipment supplied directly by Bayliss Boatworks.  This collaboration bridges classroom instruction with real world workforce training. This project gives students a head start on successful maritime careers while ensuring North Carolina’s legendary boatbuilding heritage remains in good hands for the next generation

Benetti Wins Robbs Report Best of the Best 2026

The 44‑metre M/Y Juno’s 7, the flagship of Benetti’s Class range, has been honoured with the prestigious Robb Report US Best of the Best award in the Yachting – Best Motoryacht category. Now in its 38th edition, the annual awards celebrate the pinnacle of international excellence across the luxury sector, spanning automotive, watchmaking, art, and design.  This recognition arrives at a strategically significant moment for the Group, as the United States solidifies its position as the leading target market for superyachts. The inclusion of M/Y Juno’s 7 among the winners of the long‑established Robb Report awards underscores the brand’s strong appeal to American owners and further consolidates its global market standing.  While the yacht’s refined aesthetics clearly resonated with the jury, Juno’s 7 also stands out for the extensive engineering and technical development carried out by the Shipyard. The naval platform was optimised to maximize the efficiency of the displacement hull while minimizing noise and vibration underway, ensuring exceptional comfort during long passages. Strict weight management and the seamless integration of complex onboard systems also granted the design team ultimate freedom in shaping the guest areas.  Both the exterior and interior design are penned by Cassetta Yacht Designers, who reinterpreted Benetti’s classic stylistic heritage through a sleek profile and a gracefully raked bow. Developed in close collaboration with the Owner, the interiors evoke the relaxed atmosphere of a seaside summer residence, eschewing unnecessary ostentation. The decor follows a philosophy of understated sophistication: FSC‑certified woods, such as antique elm for the flooring, are paired with matte ash wall panels. In the bathrooms, continuous resin‑mineral surfaces replace traditional marble to reduce weight without compromising visual impact. Natural stone has been reserved for select statement features, including Bianco Lasa marble in the lobby and custom Forest Green basins.  The layout of Juno’s 7 reflects the core strengths of Benetti’s Class family - a range conceived to allow extensive customisation of onboard spaces, making it equally suited to private, intimate cruising or vibrant socializing at sea.  The management of volumes and circulation revolves around several key highlights: Generous glazed surfaces, which maximize natural light and create a seamless visual connection between the saloons and the marine environment.  A highly functional layout, featuring a gym integrated into the Owner’s suite on the Main Deck, a dedicated VIP cabin on the Upper Deck, and a 102‑square‑metre Sun Deck divided into multiple relaxation areas.  A stern beach club, envisioned as a true waterfront terrace dedicated to leisure and water activities.  M/Y Juno’s 7 embodies a discreet, yet sophisticated form of luxury, where the true value of the project lies in the purity of its finishes, the genuine liveability of its spaces, and the technical and construction excellence that define the Benetti DNA.

Bilgin Wins Design et Al Awards 2026

Representing the project at the ceremony in Venice, Emrecan Özgün, COO of Bilgin Yachts and Founder of Unique Yacht Design, attended the event to receive the award on behalf of the team. The recognition marks an important international milestone for Al Reem, the third and final yacht in Bilgin’s acclaimed 263 series.  “We are truly honoured to receive this recognition for M/Y Al Reem. As the most evolved expression of the Bilgin 263 series, Al Reem brings together strong exterior character, enhanced volume and a deeply refined onboard experience. This award is a proud moment for everyone who contributed to the project,” says Emrecan Özgün.  As the final and most highly customised unit of the trilogy, M/Y Al Reem stands as the most advanced evolution of the Bilgin 263 platform to date. Designed with exterior styling and naval architecture by Unique Yacht Design and interiors by H2 Yacht Design, the 80-metre yacht combines greater interior volume, enhanced owner privacy and a more refined connection to the sea, while preserving the sleek and dynamic character that defines the series.  This recognition from design et al underlines the strength of the collaboration between Bilgin Yachts, Unique Yacht Design, H2 Yacht Design and all project partners who contributed to bringing this exceptional yacht to life.

CRN Wins Robbs Report Best of the Best 2026

CRN, the Ferretti Group brand dedicated to the design, engineering and construction of fully bespoke steel and aluminium superyachts, has won Robb Report’s “Best of the Best” 2026 Award in the Yachting category for M/Y Amor à Vida, the 67-metre vessel delivered in 2025.  Presented annually by Robb Report, one of the world’s most respected luxury lifestyle publications, the “Best of the Best” Awards honour the most exceptional products, experiences and achievements across the global luxury sector. Now in their 38th year, they are regarded as among the highest distinctions in luxury, spanning watches, automobiles, travel, art, design, gastronomy and yachting.  Named the finest superyacht of the year, Amor à Vida was recognised for her elegant architecture, sophisticated exterior styling, exceptional craftsmanship and deeply personalised interiors — setting new standards for creativity, innovation and bespoke luxury. For the owner, she is a yacht. For CRN, she is a floating expression of everything the yard believes luxury can be.  For CRN, the distinction means more than a single yacht. It is recognition of a culture of excellence built over decades within Ferretti Group — today home to the most iconic portfolio of brands in global yachting. From timeless elegance and craftsmanship to cutting-edge innovation, performance, personalisation, design leadership and owner experience, the expertise of the Group’s seven brands converges in CRN to create some of the most sophisticated and distinctive superyachts in the world. In many ways CRN is the summit of that collective expertise — the place where decades of innovation, design leadership, owner understanding and Italian craftsmanship come together to create the extraordinary. No other house in yachting can draw on a portfolio like it.  Commenting on the award, Stassi Anastassov, Chief Executive Officer of Ferretti Group, said: “Robb Report’s ‘Best of the Best’ is far more than an award for a single yacht. It is recognition of an extraordinary culture of excellence built over decades across Ferretti Group. CRN represents the highest expression of everything we have learned as a company about design, engineering, innovation, craftsmanship and the art of creating unforgettable experiences on the water. When an owner commissions a yacht from us, they are not commissioning a hull. They are commissioning the soul of everything we have learned over decades, across every one of our brands — Ferretti Yachts, Riva, Pershing, Itama, Wally, Custom Line and CRN. A yacht like Amor à Vida is what happens when decades of Italian creativity, craftsmanship, engineering and imagination come together in service of a single owner’s dream — a rare ability to transform Italian design culture, lifestyle and luxury know-how into something truly exceptional. What makes this recognition so meaningful is that it celebrates not only technical excellence, but the values that have always defined Italian luxury at its best: beauty, innovation, craftsmanship, emotion and an uncompromising attention to detail. Amor à Vida is a magnificent expression of those values, and we are honoured that Robb Report has recognised not only an extraordinary yacht, but the people, the culture and the pursuit of excellence that made her possible.”  M/Y Amor à Vida represents the ultimate expression of CRN’s bespoke philosophy, uniting advanced engineering, state-of-the-art technology, extraordinary customisation and timeless design. The project brought together the expertise of CRN and the Ferretti Group Superyacht Division with the creativity of the internationally renowned design firm Nuvolari Lenard, with bespoke interiors and exceptional detailing developed in collaboration with Valentina Zannier, Interior Art Director at Nuvolari Lenard. Moran Yacht & Ship represented the owner throughout design and construction, and now manages selected charter activity for the vessel.  Every aspect of the yacht reflects CRN’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of custom yacht building while holding to the highest standards of quality, innovation and owner satisfaction.  The honour further strengthens CRN’s position among the world’s leading builders of fully custom superyachts. More than that, it confirms that the world’s most discerning owners continue to recognise the rare combination of innovation, craftsmanship and Italian soul that defines CRN and Ferretti Group — a reminder that while technologies evolve and markets change, true excellence never goes out of style.

Evo Yachts Celebrates Fortieth Yacht Delivery

Evo Yachts confirms its identity as a boutique shipyard and delivers the 40th yacht in its history. The owner’s choice fell on the Walkaround version of the Evo R4, which is particularly well suited to cruising in the Mediterranean. Different from all its predecessors, the shipyard has designed this boat around the needs and requirements of its owner, resulting in exquisite personalisation.  Evo Yachts’ mission has always been to create models that combine total customer satisfaction with an impeccable cruising experience from every perspective. Right from the outset, the brand based in the southern Italian region of Campania has focused its business on bespoke production rather than on standardisation and a high-volume approach, in order to offer owners models on which even the tiniest details are the result of an ongoing dialogue between the shipyard and the customer, one founded on trust and sharing.  “The concept of ‘bespoke tailoring’ lies at the core of our identity: every boat we build is designed for the owner like a tailor-made suit. Our approach is very similar to the one used on much larger vessels, where the owner has a say in every detail. We work side-by-side with the customer, discussing every aspect of the design and construction process and putting our experience at the service of their wishes, with the aim of building the boat of their dreams,” explains Rosario Mercuri, one of the founders and owners of Evo Yachts. He adds, “the relationship we establish with owners also encourages some very interesting exchanges, often leading to the development of innovative and original solutions”.  Customisation extends to every aspect of the boat, with the aim of exceeding the owners’ expectations. The layout is designed to cater to different on-board lifestyles: for lovers of the outdoor life, the yachts incorporate features that make it easier to enter the water, adding spacious platforms and more room for sunbathing; whereas if the owner’s priority is privacy, the focus is on intimate and cosier but nevertheless functional spaces, featuring innovative interior design solutions. It isn’t just a question of aesthetic changes, but of ensuring that the boat is the perfect fit for the owner’s practical needs, creating a unique personalised experience. Last but not least, each of the materials chosen is in response to a specific necessity: the carbon-fibre hard top on several models is replaced, as needed, with steel, composite or even aluminium components on the latest models, in order to meet specific strength and weight requirements. The consoles can also be finished in teak, carbon-fibre or special fabrics. This versatility in the choice of materials enables us to build yachts that aren’t just aesthetically refined but also offer high performance and durability.  Additionally, a growing focus on sustainability is leading many customers to request eco-friendly materials, such as certified timber or recyclable materials, without compromising on the quality, performance and look of a luxury yacht. Every request is handled with the utmost care and attention, always striving to balance aesthetic and functional needs while remaining true to the main challenge: maintaining an equilibrium between personalisation, performance and safety.  In line with this approach, the new R4 configured in the Walkaround version for cruising in the Mediterranean stands out for the unprecedented equipment options and design solutions on offer compared to previous units, while continuing to be very easy to use, which is a key feature of Evo Yachts design. Another key concept is transformability, embodied also in this model by the multi-function XT platform, which uses electro-hydraulic mechanisms to expand and reconfigure the spaces on board, transforming the cockpit into a versatile, modular living area.  Confirming a period of significant investment, the shipyard recently inaugurated a new production site on the outskirts of Naples – it now covers a total surface area of 6,000 square metres – with the aim of gradually bringing the main production processes in-house and taking direct control of every stage of production, ensuring an even sharper focus on design and innovation.

Invictus Yachts Partners with Haier

The partnership made its debut aboard the Invictus TT460 Shell Edition, an even more exclusive version of the former Aschenez Group flagship.  Developed in collaboration with designer Fabio Rotella and brought to life by Atelier Invictus, the yacht introduces a fresh vision of both interior and exterior spaces. Completing this reinterpretation is the integration of Haier products on board: the globally renowned home appliance brand that shares with Invictus Yacht a common pursuit of beauty, innovation and technological excellence.  Though they come from different industries, the two brands are united by a shared set of values. At the core is a strong customer-first philosophy, driven by technology and expressed through design, backed by significant investment in research and development. The result is a tangible improvement in onboard quality of life — one where aesthetics play as central a role as premium materials, build quality and long-term reliability.  Both companies ultimately share the same goal: deepening the trust of their owners and customers, while reinforcing the strength and identity of their respective brands.  “The partnership with Invictus Yacht is rooted in a shared vision: both brands place innovation, design and the quality of experience at the heart of everything they do, turning technology into a means of meaningfully enhancing everyday life. For Haier, engineering excellence, innovation and research are the cornerstones of our growth. Ongoing investment in R&D and in the development of advanced technologies has established us as a global leader in home appliances and smart home solutions."

Jarrett Bay Sets Record at 68th Annual Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament

As Jarrett Bay Boatworks celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2026, the company's fleet of custom sportfishing boats delivered one of the most exciting and dominant performances in Big Rock tournament history. Jarrett Bay-built boats captured $6,553,188 of the tournament's record-setting $9,038,225 purse at the 68th Annual Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament, accounting for 72.5 percent of all prize money awarded during the six-day event.  The week was highlighted by the historic performance of the 63-foot Marlin Fever (Hull  51), which captured first place with a 919.9-pound blue marlin weighed on Tuesday, June 9th. Caught by angler Connor Daniel and captained by Cameron Guthrie, the fish established a new Big Rock tournament record as the largest blue marlin ever weighed in the tournament's 68-year history.
All-told, twenty-one Jarrett Bay sportfishing boats entered this year's tournament, representing five decades of custom boatbuilding and a fleet that ranged from Sensation (Hull 1), launched in 1988, to Rebelette (Hull 65), delivered in 2023.  While Marlin Fever hoisted the tournament's defining moment, Jarrett Bay boats posted winning performances across multiple categories throughout the week. Among the fleet's top finishers: Marlin Fever (63', Hull 51) - First Place, Blue Marlin Division, Fabulous Fisherman's Division, and Super 20 Division, Watertight (57', Hull 14) - First Place, Overall Tuna Division and Daily Tuna, Magic Moment (55', Hull 27) - First Place, Overall Wahoo Division and Daily Wahoo, Iron Leader (70', Hull 48) - First Place, Daily Dolphin, Developin' Habits (53', Hull 7) - First Place, Daily Blue Marlin Release.   Congratulations are also due to Builder's Choice (Hull 59), which brought an impressive 530-pound blue marlin to the scales on Wednesday, which placed 6th. In many years, a fish of its caliber would contend for the tournament title, but during this historic week, it underscored just how extraordinary the fishing and competition was. Collectively, five Jarrett Bay boats reached the payout board across blue marlin, tuna, wahoo, dolphin, and release divisions, showcasing the versatility and competitive success of the fleet across multiple categories. The 2026 Big Rock attracted a near-record 278 boats and produced 331 billfish releases, including 126 Blue Marlin, 120 White Marlin, and 84 Sailfish.  For Jarrett Bay, the results carried special significance during a milestone year for the company. The presence of boats spanning from Hull No. 1 through Hull No. 65 highlighted the longevity of the boats and brand, plus the enduring relationships between Jarrett Bay, its owners, captains, fishing families, fans, and the Big Rock Tournament.  "As proud as I am of the numbers, what means the most to me is seeing a local boat, a local family, and a local captain accomplish something that people will be talking about for many years," said Randy Ramsey, founder of Jarrett Bay Boatworks.  Captain Cameron Guthrie and the Daniel family have invested thousands of hours and miles chasing blue marlin aboard Marlin Fever for over fifteen years, focusing close to home on North Carolina’s Crystal Coast and occasional trips to Bermuda and beyond.  “To see them make Big Rock history with a record fish is incredibly special. As the Major Sponsor of the tournament and as a company celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, it's hard to imagine a better week for Jarrett Bay! Watching so many of our owners and crews succeed on the water is a great source of pride, and reminds us what this community is all about.”  From record-setting catches to category wins across the leaderboard, the 2026 Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament added another memorable chapter to Jarrett Bay's long history in competitive sportfishing. In a year that marks Jarrett Bay’s 40th anniversary, the week's results underscore the company’s continued presence at the forefront of the sport; proof- positive that Jarrett Bay boats are born to fish and built to win.

Numarine Achieves Triple ISO Certification

Numarine, the renowned builder of efficient explorer yachts, has received triple ISO certification across quality management, environmental responsibility and occupational health and safety.  The ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 were awarded and verified by an independent certification body. Within the Turkish yacht building industry, only a small number of shipyards hold all three simultaneously.  ISO 9001:2015 covers quality across all production processes: traceability, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. ISO 14001:2015 confirms that environmental impacts are actively managed and that operations meet international sustainability standards. ISO 45001:2018 verifies that health and safety risks are systematically controlled and that a strong safety culture runs through the shipyard.  The triple certification sits alongside Numarine's status as one of the few Turkish yacht builders accepted into Turquality, the government's brand accreditation programme reserved for companies with a proven track record in international standards and export performance.

Sanlorenzo and BYD Energy Form Strategic Partnership

Sanlorenzo advances its vision for sustainable yachting, announcing a strategic partnership with BYD Energy Storage, the world’s foremost innovator in battery and energy storage technology, designed to support the next generation of low-impact yachting solutions.  Marking another significant milestone in the company’s Road to 2030 sustainability strategy, the collaboration brings together Sanlorenzo’s leadership in sustainable luxury yachting innovation with BYD Energy Storage’s globally recognised expertise in advanced battery systems, energy management technologies, and large-scale electrification solutions.  The partnership establishes a long-term strategic collaboration, including an ongoing research and development programme focused on exploring how advanced energy storage technologies can contribute to a new generation of quieter, lower-impact and more intelligently managed yachts — anticipating the evolving expectations of owners increasingly seeking sustainability, comfort, performance, and extended onboard autonomy without compromise.  The agreement also establishes BYD Energy Storage as Technology Supplier and Official Battery Supplier to Sanlorenzo.  Massimo Perotti, Executive Chairman of Sanlorenzo, said: “Innovation and sustainability are inseparable for Sanlorenzo. Partnering with a global technology leader such as BYD Energy Storage represents another important step in our long-term vision to shape a more responsible and technologically advanced future for yachting. “Following our renewed commitment to advancing sustainable technologies announced during Venice Climate Week, this latest collaboration allows us to explore new possibilities in energy storage and electrification while continuing to develop solutions capable of reducing the environmental impact of yachts on the water.”  Tony Jiang, Director of BYD Marine Battery Product Line, added: “Sanlorenzo represents one of the most forward-thinking and design-led brands in the global yachting industry. We are proud to support their sustainability vision through our advanced battery technologies and look forward to collaborating on future innovation opportunities within the maritime sector.” Globally recognised for its proprietary battery innovation, advanced lithium iron phosphate (LFP) systems, and large-scale energy storage expertise, BYD Energy Storage has become a significant force in the evolution of next-generation mobility and industrial electrification. The agreement reflects growing momentum behind the application of advanced battery technologies within the maritime sector and reinforces Sanlorenzo’s ambition to remain at the forefront of sustainable innovation within luxury yachting.  The partnership reflects a broader transformation underway within the luxury yachting sector, where future owners are increasingly seeking solutions that combine performance, comfort, efficiency, and environmental responsibility without compromise. As onboard energy demands continue to evolve, advanced battery and energy storage technologies are expected to play an increasingly important role in shaping more sustainable yachting experiences.  Through the collaboration, Sanlorenzo and BYD Energy Storage will explore how next-generation battery systems and energy management solutions can support the development of lower-impact yachting platforms, while preserving the design, comfort, and lifestyle experience that define the brand. The partnership forms part of Sanlorenzo’s wider ambition to anticipate the changing expectations of a new generation of owners increasingly focused on innovation, sustainability, and long-term responsibility.  The partnership further strengthens Sanlorenzo’s Road to 2030 sustainability programme, which continues to drive investment across green methanol, reformer systems for the hydrogen production, hybrid propulsion technologies, and broader innovation designed to support the long-term transformation of the yachting industry.

Sanlorenzo at Venice Climate Week

Sanlorenzo calls on European policymakers and ports to accelerate investment in alternative fuels, as it outlines that the adoption of next-generation sustainable yachts will be shaped by the availability of energy infrastructure — not the pace of technological innovation.  Speaking at Venice Climate Week, Executive Chairman Massimo Perotti presents the “Venice Call for Maritime Action”, an initiative formalised through an open letter to Jessika Roswall, European Commissioner for Environment, Water Resilience and a Competitive Circular Economy, and copied to Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission. Mr Perotti will meet with Commissioner Rosewall on Monday, 8 June, to formally present the letter.  The initiative has already attracted support from across the maritime ecosystem, including SYBAss, representing the worldwide superyacht industry, Professor Flavio Manenti of Politecnico di Milano, a leading authority on sustainable industrial processes, together with signatories from marine technology, energy and sustainability organisations.  In the letter Perotti sets out a clear position, writing: “The technology is ready. The challenge now is ensuring infrastructure and fuel availability evolve in parallel, so these innovations can be fully realised.”  Adding: “Without the necessary infrastructure — across ports, marinas and supply chains — adoption cannot scale.”  As one of the world’s leading yacht builders above 24 metres, Sanlorenzo has invested early in innovative propulsion technologies as part of its strategy “Road to 2030”, positioning the company at the forefront of innovation in the sector.  Sanlorenzo is a Founding Partner of Venice Climate Week, with its cultural hub Casa Sanlorenzo serving as one of the host venues of the event. Its 2026 theme “Planet Aqua, Planet Peace” expands the role of water from a natural resource to a defining infrastructure of the 21st century, shaping climate resilience, urban systems and global stability. Sanlorenzo is engaging directly with the week’s central moment, the Planet Aqua – World Blue Community Forum, which convenes mayors of water-based cities, governments, scientists and industry leaders to develop actionable strategies for the future of coastal regions. In this context, the company has called on the mayors and city leaders in attendance to support the development of green methanol infrastructure across key maritime destinations.  Sanlorenzo has made significant progress in the development of bi-fuel methanol technology. However, the pace of adoption will be shaped by the availability of electrification infrastructure and new fuels across key maritime and yachting destinations, particularly in the Mediterranean, where supply remains limited and largely unavailable across leading marinas.  This reflects a broader shift in the industry. Today, less than one percent of global methanol production is derived from renewable sources, with supply largely concentrated in major industrial hubs such as Port of Rotterdam and Port of Antwerp-Bruges, and not yet accessible across the Mediterranean yachting ecosystem.  During his address, Perotti will introduce the “Venice Call for Maritime Action. The letter calls for alignment across industry, infrastructure and policy, recognising that while propulsion technologies are advancing, their deployment depends on coordinated progress across energy providers, ports and policymakers.  It also establishes an ongoing dialogue, with a proposed six-month progress exchange and a reconvening at the next edition of Venice Climate Week to assess developments in fuel availability and infrastructure.  “We are entering a new phase in the transition to sustainable mobility at sea,” says Massimo Perotti, Executive Chairman of Sanlorenzo.  “Innovation is advancing rapidly. The priority now is to ensure that infrastructure and fuel availability evolve in parallel, so these technologies can be fully realised.”  “Yachting has the opportunity to lead by making sustainability both viable and desirable — but this requires alignment across the entire ecosystem.”  Casa Sanlorenzo continues to serve as a platform for cross-industry dialogue, bringing together leaders from technology, design and policy during Venice Climate Week through a programme of Sanlorenzo Talks.  Sanlorenzo continues to advance its roadmap to 2030, centred on the integration of new propulsion and energy technologies across its yacht portfolio. This includes the development of bi-fuel methanol propulsion systems following the introduction of the 50Steel Almax in 2024, the first superyacht to feature a methanol reformer fuel cell system, marking a significant step in the evolution of the company’s superyacht range.  Bluegame, a brand of Sanlorenzo, has also developed the BGH-HSV (Hydrogen Support Vessel), a 10-metre, 50-knot hydrogen-powered foiling multihull that served as a chase boat for the 37th America’s Cup sailing at zero-emission.  By aligning innovation with real-world usability, Sanlorenzo is helping to set the direction for a more sustainable future in yachting.

Azimut’s Seadeck Series inspires a new experiential dimension of signature hospitality: a fleet of yachts that guests of the Fasano Al Mare Hotel can also choose as their private residences on the water.  Azimut Yachts and JHSF announce the introduction of an exclusive fleet of Seadeck yachts for the Fasano Al Mare Hotel & Beach Club, part of the Fasano Sardegna project, set to launch in summer 2026.  This initiative represents a new chapter in the collaboration between Azimut and JHSF, combining Azimut’s expertise in yacht design and innovation with JHSF’s approach to hospitality and guest experience. The result is a seamless extension of the Fasano experience from land to sea.  The project expands the Fasano Al Mare Hotel & Beach Club experience by offering guests the possibility to enjoy fully serviced yachts, anchored in a dedicated area of the bay facing Tavolara Island, either as a “private residence” during their stay or as a platform for curated exploration across Sardinia’s most iconic destinations.  The fleet will consist of five Seadeck yachts — including Seadeck 9 and Seadeck 7 models — featuring layouts and interiors customized through a close collaboration between Azimut, JHSF and Fasano.   The Seadeck concept is Azimut’s purest embodiment of a new era of gentle living at sea: a space of effortless elegance and wellbeing, defined by features like the Fun Island, a signature aft terrace designed to enhance both the connection with the environment and onboard conviviality.  «Giving shape to new ways of embracing the sea is at the heart of our purpose. This project allows us to realize this vision with a partner like Fasano, a renowned curator of experiential hospitality, and through Seadeck, the Series that captures contemporary luxury as a yearning for disconnection, intimacy, and a profound closeness to nature», states Marco Valle, CEO of Azimut|Benetti Group.  «This project reflects how we think about hospitality at JHSF — as an integrated ecosystem designed around our clients' lifestyle», said Augusto Martins, CEO of JHSF. «With Fasano Sardegna, we are extending this experience, creating a natural connection between land and sea».  Each yacht will be fully crewed, offering personalized service, including chefs responsible for Fasano’s gastronomy and a dedicated onboard team, ensuring alignment with the brand’s standards across all touchpoints.  Reservations will open soon, in line with the launch of the first phase of the Fasano Sardegna project. The fleet will operate during the peak summer season, between July and September.

His arrival builds on the strong technical foundation established by the current leadership team and signals a more integrated, future‑focused approach to product development.  Rouse’s background spans hands‑on command of large yachts, oversight of multiple new‑build projects at leading Northern European shipyards, and years of work as a respected owner’s representative. This combination gives him a unique understanding of the practical demands placed on modern superyachts and the evolving expectations of owners, captains, and crew.  In his new role, he will work closely with the board and Heesen’s technical departments to evaluate emerging technologies, refine quality standards, and embed operational feedback into early design and engineering processes. This collaboration strengthens Heesen’s position at the forefront of Dutch yacht building.  “Bringing Mike into the organisation marks a progressive step in our pursuit of excellence,” says Jeroen van der Meer, CEO of Heesen. “His operational insight, combined with our engineering capability, enhances our ability to deliver yachts that are technologically advanced and perfectly aligned with the realities of contemporary yachting. His contribution will support our technical teams as we evolve our product range and enter a new chapter of innovation.”  Rouse’s appointment creates a direct feedback channel between life at sea and the shipyard floor. By introducing operational thinking at the earliest stages, Heesen aims to optimise technical spaces, improve crew flow, and ensure long‑range capability is considered from the outset.  This includes identifying strategic partnerships with innovative suppliers to guarantee the highest levels of reliability across all onboard systems.  “In superyacht construction, the difference between a good yacht and a great one often emerges only after thousands of miles underway,” Rouse says. “My goal is to ensure those operational nuances are embedded from day one. I look forward to working with the engineering teams to champion practical innovation and uphold Heesen’s reputation for uncompromising Northern European quality.”  His remit will also extend to Heesen’s in‑house luxury interior company, where he will advise on the intersection of high‑concept design and maritime durability. This holistic approach ensures that every Heesen yacht delivers both aesthetic refinement and long‑term resilience, supporting the shipyard’s ambition to shape the next generation of performance and design.

RMK Yachts New Miami Office

Turkish shipyard RMK Yachts has announced the opening of a new office in Miami, marking a strategic milestone in the company’s expansion in the United States, one of the world’s most important superyacht markets.  Located within the RMK-Merrill Stevens shipyard in Miami, one of South Florida’s most established superyacht refit and repair facilities, the new office establishes a permanent operational and client-facing presence in the region. The move reflects RMK Yachts’ long-term commitment to building closer relationships with the U.S.-based clients while providing direct, on-the-ground support throughout every stage of yacht ownership.  The Miami office will work in close coordination with RMK-Merrill Stevens and will also be supported by RMK Yachts’ U.S. representative and broker, Juan Morillo, ensuring seamless communication and responsive service for American clients.  “For U.S. clients, proximity is not simply a preference, it is a matter of trust,” said Cuneyt Okcu, Director of RMK Yachts. “Having a physical presence there means being accessible, accountable, and responsive, particularly when it comes to after-sales support and warranty services.”  The decision to establish a Miami office reflects a clear understanding of the priorities of American yacht owners, who place significant value on having a trusted local representative connected directly to the shipyard. By expanding its presence in the U.S., RMK Yachts reinforces its commitment to transparency, long-term support, and client confidence.  The opening also aligns with RMK Yachts’ broader strategy to expand its global footprint and strengthen its position among the world’s leading yacht builders. This move helps the shipyard offer clients not only distinctive design and engineering excellence, but also a service network built to meet the highest international standards.

SACS Tecnorib Broker Showcase 2026

The Monaco Yacht Club was the backdrop for the second edition of the SACS Tecnorib Broker Showcase, the event the shipyard dedicates to international brokerage professionals. The initiative, organised in cooperation with the dealer 3C Marine, brought together approx. 30 professionals from leading international broker houses, confirming the growing attention to the Strider, PIRELLI Speedboats and Rebel ranges.  The event, which took place on 19 May, saw the SACS Tecnorib Team present its entire product range, with a focus on PIRELLI Speedboats, the line of high-performance inflatable boats developed for more 20 than years by the shipyard under license from the PIRELLI brand, recognisable by its signature Mannerfelt Design Team design, sporty hulls derived from the offshore world, and the iconic PIRELLI tread that defines its stylistic identity.  Some of the most distinctive products from the three ranges were also presented and made available for sea trials during the day, providing participants with the opportunity to appreciate the shipyard's different design philosophies first hand. The PIRELLI 47 in the closed version was shown in the water for the first time, alongside the PIRELLI 35, the Strider 11 with outboard engines and the Strider 15 in the stern-drive version, accompanied by the Rebel 47 together with the flagship of the range, the Rebel 55.  In addition to product presentations, the Broker Showcase was created as an opportunity for direct discussion with those who are involved in the superyacht market on a daily basis. Brokers represent a privileged viewpoint of the needs of shipowners and the dynamics that drive tender and chase boat choices: listening to them means understanding more precisely how expectations, priorities, and usage patterns evolve.  The meeting at the Monaco Yacht Club made it possible to exchange visions and perspectives, gather useful insights and consolidate relationships that, for SACS Tecnorib, are an integral part of the product development process. An open dialogue that strengthens collaboration with the main international broker houses and helps guide the boatyard's future strategies.

Sanlorenzo Arts Presents WAVES

Sanlorenzo presents WAVES, the first proprietary exhibition from Sanlorenzo Arts, marking a decisive step in the yachting Maison’s evolution as a cultural protagonist. More than an exhibition, WAVES represents the culmination of Sanlorenzo’s decade‑long commitment to the arts, a journey that has seen the company collaborate with leading institutions, creators and artists to explore the intersections between creativity, innovation and the culture of the sea.  For Sanlorenzo, its patronage of the arts is not a brand extension but a strategic pillar of its identity. It reflects the Maison’s belief that craftsmanship, design and cultural vision are inseparable, with the future of luxury defined by cultivating meaning amongst communities, not merely manufacturing objects. This first collective and proprietary exhibition reflects this philosophy, positioning Sanlorenzo as a champion of Italian creativity and curator of contemporary culture.  “For Sanlorenzo, the sea is not just a scene” says Massimo Perotti, Executive Chairman of Sanlorenzo.  “It is a condition that constantly reminds us that balance is never static but always dynamic. Building a yacht means giving form to precision within an environment that, by its very nature, resists fixity. This relationship between control and unpredictability is mirrored in the artistic process, and WAVES encapsulates this vision. Transformation is not an exception but the very essence of innovation and reality.  “This first proprietary exhibition represents a significant milestone in our cultural journey, which has evolved from partnership with some of the world’s leading art events to a permanent home at Casa Sanlorenzo fulfilling an active role as a cultural custodian.”  Hosted at Casa Sanlorenzo during the 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, WAVES brings together historical and contemporary artists in an immersive environment spanning the building’s interiors, garden and pedestrian bridge. Curated by Sergio Risaliti and Cristiano Seganfreddo, the latter also member of the Scientific Committee at Sanlorenzo Arts, the exhibition explores the wave as a universal principle, a force of energy, transformation and dynamic equilibrium.  The wave becomes a metaphor for Sanlorenzo’s own identity in yachting: a brand shaped by the sea, by movement, and by the positive tension between innovation and tradition.  The exhibition is headlined by works from Alexander Calder, Lucio Fontana and Fausto Melotti, whose radical approaches redefined the boundaries of sculpture in the 20th century. Their works introduce movement, spatial rupture and rhythmic modulation, revealing form as inherently unstable and alive.  “These artists share a radical intuition” - explains Sergio Risaliti, Director of the Museo del Novecento and co-curator of WAVES.  “They understood that sculpture could no longer be conceived as a static object. Calder, Fontana, and Melotti introduced a dynamic condition in which form interacts continuously with space. Their works reveal matter as inherently unstable, shaped by forces and energies in constant transformation”.  This dialogue continues with Tony Cragg, whose sculptures appear in perpetual metamorphosis, and Christine Safa, whose paintings dissolve into atmospheric fields of colour and light.  Site-specific interventions extend the exhibition into the architecture of Casa Sanlorenzo: Marcello Maloberti’s ECHO transforms the pedestrian bridge into a space of resonance, while Friedrich Andreoni activates the garden through sound, sculpture and natural elements.  “The wave is not only a natural phenomenon but a way of thinking about reality” adds Cristiano Seganfreddo, co-curator of WAVES.  “The exhibition presents a dynamic transformation, with different artistic languages converging to create a field of resonances. Here, visitors experience the world not as a set of fixed objects, but as a system of relationships, oscillations, and connections”.  Together with them the astrophysicist Ersilia Vaudo Scarpetta expands the exhibition’s horizon beyond the visible world with her textual “interferences”, which connect the oceanic to the cosmic, reinforcing the exhibition’s central theme: transformation as the essence of existence.  She adds: “Waves are not just a phenomenon of the sea. They are the fundamental language of the universe. Light, sound, and gravitational waves continuously propagate through space and time, shaping reality. What we perceive with our senses is only a tiny fragment of this vast spectrum of vibrations. Yet it is precisely in this small fragment that beauty, colour, and light emerge”.  The exhibition is enriched by an olfactory landscape created in collaboration with Xerjoff and conceived by Sergio Momo to amplify the sensory dimension of the visitor experience. For the occasion, the fragrance Uden Overdose was selected: its citrus, amber and ozonic notes evoke a marine world in constant motion between depth and surface.  Set in Venice, a city suspended between fragility and resilience, WAVES reflects Sanlorenzo’s commitment to shaping a cultural dialogue that unites art, design, technology and sustainability. It marks a new chapter in the brand’s patronage of the arts, affirming its role as a leader in Italian craft, innovation and contemporary culture.  WAVES takes place from 6 May – 28 June 2026 at Casa Sanlorenzo, Dorsoduro, 170, 30123. The public are warmly welcomed to explore the exhibition from Wednesday to Sunday, from 11am to 7pm.  Main parters of the event are Xerjoff with its olfactory landscape, Glauk for soundscape and AON.

Tankoa Strengthens Production Site

Tankoa Yachts is continuing the development of its integrated production platform between Civitavecchia and Genoa, where the two facilities now operate as a single industrial hub dedicated to the construction of large superyachts.  Covering more than 34,000 square metres within the port area, the Civitavecchia site is currently focused on the core stages of hull construction, including steelwork, systems installation and the initial outfitting phases, all carried out according to Tankoa’s engineering, production and quality standards.  Once the construction phase in Civitavecchia is completed, the hulls are transferred by land and loaded onto a floating barge before being towed to Genoa, where final outfitting, commissioning, sea trials and delivery are performed. This integrated and well-established production process allows Tankoa to retain direct oversight of every stage of construction, ensuring consistency in both technical standards and build quality throughout the entire process.  In July 2025, the first transfer took place. Operations are continuing at full capacity, with four transfers scheduled throughout 2026. The first two units - measuring 50 and 55 metres respectively - departed Civitavecchia together at the end of March aboard the same floating barge. Two additional transfers are planned between late spring and early summer, Further shipments to Genoa are scheduled in the following months, in line with the shipyard’s production timeline.

Viking at Chub Cay Invitational

The dock was buzzing about the Viking 58 Waterlines at the 6th Chub Cay Invitational. Rob McCall battled a yellowfin tuna for more than five hours on a Talica 25 with 40-pound main line, 60-pound leader and a 7/0 circle hook. The fish ate a ballyhoo on the right long ‘rigger. Captain Jake Griffith raced back to the weigh station to a waiting crowd. Once on the scale, the tuna weighed 140 pounds, winning not only the heaviest meat fish of the tournament but also the largest game fish in Chub Cay Resort’s tournament history. The team also weighed a 38-pound dolphin to sweep the game fish categories. Weather played a big factor, forcing multiple boats to sit out. But that clearly didn’t dampen spirits on the Waterline.

Wally Live Days 2026

Wally Live Days 2026 took place at Porto Carlo Riva in Rapallo from 14–17 May and 21–24 May. Two dedicated sessions for owners and enthusiasts, designed to offer a direct and authentic experience of the Wally world, featuring several yachts launched just ahead of the summer season.  Taking centre stage was the wallywhy150, presented with an alternative interior layout that introduces a reimagined main deck focused on flexibility and seamless indoor-outdoor continuity. The main salon has been completely redesigned to allow for a more dynamic use of space, while a starboard-side staircase enhances the raised dining area.  The design language evolves through refined details, including soft-lined headliners and teak elements inspired by the world of sailing. This configuration preserves the model’s identity while introducing solutions that enhance liveability, natural light and visual connection with the sea. A coherent evolution that expands the wallywhy concept with an even more contemporary approach.  Alongside the wallywhy150, the yachts on display showcase the different expressions of Wally’s design language. The wallytender43 combines performance and ease of use with clean lines and a strong identity. The wallytender48 builds on this vision by offering greater onboard liveability while maintaining stylistic consistency and presence on the water. The wallypower58, with her sharp geometry, bold stance and high-performance capabilities, represents the sportier edge of the range. Completing the line-up on the dock, the wallywhy100 translates the wallywhy concept into a more compact scale, retaining her defining principles of continuity and direct connection with the sea.
