Arksen Co-Produce Earth Day Feature Film

Ocean with David Attenborough, produced by Silverback Films and Open Planet Studios and co-produced by Arksen and 10% for the Ocean, takes viewers on a breath-taking journey, revealing that nowhere is more vital for our survival, more full-of-life, wonder or surprise, than the ocean. Through spectacular sequences featuring coral reefs, kelp forests, and the open ocean, the film demonstrates why a healthy ocean is essential for a stable, flourishing planet.  The World Premiere of the film will take place at Southbank Centre's Royal Festival Hall, London, on Tuesday 6 May, ahead of the film’s Global Cinema Event in over 26 countries from 8 May. The film will be available globally on National Geographic, Disney+ and Hulu later this year.  The film exposes unprecedented realities and challenges facing our ocean, from destructive fishing practices to mass coral reef bleaching. Yet, the story remains optimistic, highlighting inspirational global examples that convey Attenborough’s greatest message: the ocean can recover to a glory beyond anything anyone alive has ever witnessed.

Azimut Wins Yacht Style Awards 2025

Azimut Seadeck 7 continues to win over international audiences: ahead of its highly anticipated debut in the APAC region, set to take place at the Singapore Yachting Festival, the model has been named winner at the 2025 Yacht Style Awards in the “Motoryacht 21-24m” category. The award was given for the innovations introduced aboard this model, including “the use of R-PET where possible and the offering of more layout options around the line’s signature design, the Fun Island.”  The award ceremony took place yesterday at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove in Singapore, the setting for celebrating the leading names in international yachting excellence. The Yacht Style Awards, organized by the namesake magazine that is a benchmark for the sector in the APAC region, recognize the top brands and most impactful innovations on a global scale.  This latest milestone confirms the value and vision of the Seadeck 7, a symbol of Azimut’s strong focus on innovation and sustainability. It also reflects the brand’s growing success in Asia, where it benefits from a solid Dealer network. Among these, Tam Sơn Yachting, Azimut’s exclusive Dealer in Vietnam, was also honoured at the 2025 Yacht Style Awards in the “Domestic Dealer in Asia” category.  The Yacht Style recognition adds to the recent accolades awarded to Azimut by the Hurun Research Institute, which honoured both the Shipyard and the Seadeck 7 with two Best of the Best Awards 2025.

Azimut Signs New Partnership in North East Italy

A new partnership to elevate the shipowner experience in North-West Italy: service excellence, shared know-how and a tailor-made approach to a strategic market.  Azimut has entrusted Kora Marine with exclusive dealership for the brand in North-West Italy, a strategic area for the Shipyard due to the combination of nautical tradition, advanced infrastructure and international clients with high investment potential.  The choice to appoint Kora Marine, a new company based in Santa Margherita Ligure, as an exclusive partner follows from careful evaluation by Azimut. The Shipyard recognized in the new company a highly qualified representative for the development and management of the local market. Francesco Montanella, a professional with solid experience in the nautical sector who worked within the Azimut sales office as Asia-Pacific Sales Manager, leads Kora Marine. His deep knowledge of the brand and the reference market combines with a consolidated background in the premium automotive segment and substantial experience with high-end clientele. These are the reasons Azimut entrusted Kora Marine with exclusive representation in an extremely important area for the Shipyard.  Regions such as Piedmont, Valle d’Aosta, Lombardy, Liguria and Tuscany constitute a strategic basin for Italian shipyards and beyond, and, above all, for Azimut, which has its historic headquarters in this territory, with numerous boats moored along the coast and a growing demand for premium services.  Azimut and Kora Marine share the goal of strengthening the Shipyard’s presence in a high demand area and enhancing relationships with clients by offering comprehensive support that ranges from consultancy in selecting the right yacht to after-sales assistance. Among the strategic drivers of this synergy is also the desire to leverage the solid know-how Montanella has developed in the automotive sector, with the aim of bringing to the yachting world the same level of service excellence, attention to detail, and tailor-made approach that have always characterized high-end automotive. This shared vision is further reinforced by the presence of like-minded stakeholders, united by high expectations and a strong appreciation for quality and personalized experiences.  “The expansion of our sales network with the creation of Kora Marine and the signing of this dealership is a strategic step for Azimut. North-West Italy is a market of fundamental importance, and this collaboration will allow us to be even closer to owners, guaranteeing them excellent service, in line with the philosophy of our brand,” said Enrico Chiaussa, Azimut Chief Commercial Officer EMEA-APAC.  “This partnership marks the evolution of a journey that began years ago with Azimut, which today opens to a new business reality with the birth of Kora Marine. Our goal is to offer an exclusive and tailor-made experience, blending local knowledge with an innovative approach to service. By combining the best of yachting, hospitality and premium automotive, we want to redefine the concept of excellence in the industry. In synergy with Azimut, we aspire to become the benchmark for owners and enthusiasts, accompanying them with expertise, dedication and a long-term vision at every stage of their journey. We are proud to represent a Made in Italy excellence like Azimut, a shipyard that combines innovation, style and craftsmanship, bringing to the world the authenticity of Italian know-how,” affirmed Francesco Montanella, Owner of Kora Marine.

Dale Spring Voyage to Ireland

It’s been a memorable start to the year at Dale. Winter work, seasonal servicing, and careful pre-launch preparations have kept the team busy, with Iolar, Dark Stranger, and Seahorse all scheduled for launch on April 1st.  This year marked a first: scheduling all the Dales for a simultaneous launch. Why? No one wanted to miss the exciting opportunity of a shakedown trip to Ireland! Led by newly launched Dale 40 ‘Sans Rival’, and joined by Dale Classic 37 ‘Magic’ (formerly ‘Valegro’), the growing flotilla made the crossing together.  Joining the journey were Mike, Moss, Stevie, and Jeremy, along with renowned marine photographer Richard Langdon, who took on the challenge of capturing all five Dales together on the water a rare and remarkable sight.  This return to Neyland, supported by our team, offered owners the unique opportunity to reconnect, refresh their boats, and set off on the season’s first adventure together, a true reflection of our ‘Lifetime Commitment’ promise. A heartfelt thank you to all the owners and crews who made it such a memorable voyage.

Fairline Sold to New Investors

Fairline has been bought by Bronzewood Capital, a private-equity arm of turnaround specialist Buchler Phillips. The deal includes all the brand assets and tooling but not the Oundle factory, which it will continue to rent from the current landlord, nor Fairline Yachts and its outstanding liabilities.  A new holding company has been registered at Companies House called Fairline Holdco Limited, although we understand that going foward the business itself will just be known as Fairline.  Crucially, the deal secures Fairline’s status as a British based boat manufacturer and should mean the remaining 240 employees will continue to build and develop new boats in Oundle for the foreseeable future.  New owner, Bronzewood Capital, specialises in distressed businesses with turnovers in the £5m to £50m range. It is headed by David Buchler, a founding partner of Buchler Phillips. Buchler, himself, is a serial boat owner as well as an experienced marine industry executive, having been a long-term director-investor in Ventura Yachts, the distributor for Ferretti Group brands in the UK and Spain. Buchler has also had spells as the vice-chairman of Premier League football club Tottenham Hotspur and English National Opera. He is supported in Bronzewood by Robin Southwell, a former CEO of Airbus UK.

Here, he has delivered his expertise in sales consultancy, management and operations development, facilitating the sale, commissions and delivery of new yachts to clients across the Bay Area and West Coast. “Even though I’ve worked for various dealerships throughout my career, my admiration for Fairline as a brand and the yachts’ grace and refinement has been there ever since I would watch the signature style of the Squadrons and Targas gliding through the UK waters. I’ve always marvelled at the allure of the yachts, hoping I would one day represent such refined craftsmanship. The enthusiasm of the Fairline team is infectious and it’s evident that with its current offering and yet more developments in the pipeline, that there’s exciting times ahead for the brand and its customers,” said Rob. “Fairline’s wide range perfectly suits the diverse climates and cruising grounds of California with the advanced docking technology and impeccable sea-handling capabilities catering to yachting enthusiasts of all skill levels. “Our wealth of experience in delivering and supporting luxury yachts ensures that prospective owners are in the best hands with their Fairline purchase. Florian Helmberger is taking over the management of Frauscher España from Stefan Frauscher.  Almost a hundred years after Engelbert Frauscher founded a small boatbuilding company, another generational change in the management of the Upper Austrian Frauscher shipyard is taking place. Georg Frauscher is taking over responsibility for the company's management with a focus on production, continuing to run the family business in the fourth generation. He succeeds his father Michael Frauscher, who has played a key role in the development of the company over the past 40 years.  Georg Frauscher has been with the company since 2022 and, in addition to his extensive professional knowledge, he brings with him the spirit that makes the “engineers of emotions” so successful. “I feel ready for this new role and look forward to continuing the Frauscher success story together with our team. We have big plans,” says the new Managing Director of Production.  Michael Frauscher, son of Hans Frauscher, will remain associated with the company. In his new role as “Head of Design”, he will focus entirely on the development of new products and boat designs.  The roles of Andrea Frauscher-Oberfrank, Managing Director - Frauscher Hafen, Stefan Frauscher, Managing Director - Marketing & Sales and Andreas Ahamer, Managing Director - Controlling & Purchasing, will remain unchanged. The trusted team will optimally support and accompany the generational change at management level.

Frauscher Espana Management Change

There has also been a change of management at the company's Spanish subsidiary: Florian Helmberger, the long-standing sales director and authorised signatory of the Frauscher shipyard, is additionally taking over the management of the company from Stefan Frauscher and will continue to drive forward the future development of the international site.  "Frauscher España SL has been a real success story since it was founded in 2012 and is responsible for 20-30% of the shipyard’s total turnover every year. With the additional location in Puerto Portals, which supports our existing location in Port Adriano and the winter storage facility in Son Oms, we will further expand our presence in Mallorca. I am delighted that the shareholders have placed their trust in me for this additional role!", Florian Helmberger.   With these personnel changes, the Frauscher shipyard is setting the course for a successful future based on tradition, innovation and a clear vision for the coming years.

Maritimo Muster 2025 New Zealand

The last weekend of March just saw the hosting of another fabulous Maritimo Muster, this time in New Zealand. It provided an opportunity to bring together a fleet of magnificent Maritimo Luxury Motor Yachts, their owners, family and friends to experience the warm hospitality of Man O’ War Winery, and other fun filled activities on the agenda.  With the twenty plus vessels and 110 participants that signed up for the event, the plan was for two groups, an early departure on the Saturday morning from Westhaven Marina for those that wanted a leisurely 8 knot toddle for the 3-hour voyage, then followed by those who would depart later as part of the 20 knot steamers. Why do it in three hours if you can do it in less than half the time. Right?  Leaving Westhaven Marina and heading east takes voyagers through the Hauraki Gulf, which boasts an area of around four thousand square kilometres, and stretches from the Auckland Region, the Hauraki Plains, the Coromandel Peninsula, and Great Barrier Island. Most of the Gulf is part of the Hauraki Gulf Marine Park.  The planned journey to Waiheke Island is mostly well protected and is home to many small islands, which offer magnificent scenery en route. The Man O’ War Winery is located on the eastern side of Waiheke Island, which is the second largest island in the region with a population of over nine thousand permanent residents, and as such is the third most populated island in New Zealand.  But don’t let the name Man O’ War Winery alarm you, it’s named after the Jewel that it looks across Man O’ War Bay. There’s absolutely no ‘agro’ here. and only the warmest of New Zealand hospitality provided by everyone at this family owned and operated 4,500 acre farm, vineyard and winery with over seventy-five vineyards across the farm and specialising in Bordeaux Blends. There is also an abundance of orchards, olive groves, restored native forests and beehives.  Danny Jordin, Maritimo’s Australasian Sales Manager, has just returned from the event and shared some of his experiences of the weekend. “I guess this was our first opportunity to put together something on behalf of Maritimo in New Zealand. It was great to be able to show that we support our clients, and we truly appreciate that they support the Maritimo product and brand in New Zealand. The response from owners was absolutely amazing. They clearly love their Maritimos, and share stories about how capable and how well suited the Maritimo vessels are for the New Zealand environs,” Jordin added.  “When we released the event and started to go out to our consultants to reach out to their clients, we thought well if we got eight to ten boats then this would be great outcome and it would be a goer. Well, we actually had 31 boats register, and after a few cancellations as happens with busy diaries, we ended up with over 20 vessels. That equated to about 110 people and we had a capacity of 120 at the winery for catering purposes. Perfect.”     “The attendees loved creating new relationships with the other Maritimo owners. They’re all like-minded people and they’ve all got similar interests. This was a great opportunity where they could take their boat and a couple of friends or family members to meet up with other Maritimo owners. We had two or three boats that had rafted up that knew each other, and other boats that then joined them and didn’t know each other initially. They were all moving from boat to boat, mixing and mingling, with little parties everywhere. The weekend really provided an opportunity to create some future long-term friendships. We really set out to make it a low key, relaxed affair, and that definitely shone through.”  “We received so many positive messages from Maritimo owners and their guests on our WhatsApp group, saying how they loved the weekend and that they’ll be signing right up for the next one,” Jordin said.  “I did hear also there were a few owners that are talking about doing a Fiji trip next year, and I can guarantee you that if it was initially two or three boats planning that, well, after this event, there’s going be a lot more that end up doing that trip, because they’ll all stay in contact now. They’ve formed great relationships, and they’ll do more voyages together.”  “The clients love this Maritimo Muster format of a one, two or three-day event, as it’s so relaxed. We get all our teams involved. We had our Maritimo Factory Representatives there, we had 36 Degrees Brokers and also Ownership Consultants attend. So, a real tour de force. We’re definitely going to run this NZ event, again, at a similar time next year, and we hope to organise something else some in another time of the year as well, so we have a couple of events in the diary to catch up with owners and bring them together to say thanks.”  “Of course, we’ve always supported our clients, but this event totally reinforces that we’re here to support them and to look after them, whether that be after sales or upgrades, or for the time when they are ready move into a new model Maritimo,” Jordin said in closing.

Exteta and Riva have launched an exclusive collaboration that is the epitome of contemporary elegance.  Exteta x Riva is the new outdoor furniture collection that transforms any living space into the ultimate stylish experience, injecting the iconic allure of yachting into the world of interior design.  Designed by Massimo Castagna, the collection draws its inspiration from Riva’s most authentic soul, its heritage and history spanning over 180 years. Every detail bears witness to the fine expertise that has permeated every creation of Italina shipyard since 1842, from the legendary symbol of the “dolce vita” of the 1960s to the technological innovation and the full-custom approach that have underpinned the brand's most recent evolution. The epitome of sophisticated and timeless style, Riva has shaped a whole lifestyle of its own, both on and off the sea.  It is this very approach that aligns perfectly with Exteta, a company that has redefined the concept of the outdoors crafting products of the highest quality in terms of materials and workmanship. The elegant design and superb craftsmanship that are the hallmarks of the legendary Riva motorboats are embodied in the Exteta collections, so that together they deliver a fresh take on the nautical experience.  Exteta x Riva encompasses a complete range of furnishings, designed to enhance both the most refined residential settings as well as yacht decks.  An ode to the sea, to beauty, to the art of living: this is Exteta x Riva.  Seating elements, upholstered furniture, tables, complementary items and accessories: the versatility of the collection brings a touch of refined conviviality to any setting, creating lounge nooks, places to relax and dining areas where the outdoors can be savoured in total ease. Each element boasts the Riva style, starting with the materials: from the prized sapele mahogany, masterfully crafted with its iconic glossy finish to the shining and vibrant stainless steel accents. The sofas stand out for their sculptural design, with full volumes and generous padding, seemingly suspended on feet that raise them slightly, to create a sophisticated illusion of weightlessness. Its modules can accommodate a wide range of seating arrangements, while two different types of armrests ensure maximum versatility: padded, with a slightly curved shape, or in wood, with a wide, elongated armrest that brings to mind the sophisticated contours of Riva yachts.  This unique attribute is also echoed in the lounge chair and director's chair, two designs that are more essential and lightweight, but no less comfortable thanks to their deep, padded seats.  The sense of harmony conveyed by the combination of wood and stainless steel is also a feature of the dining table (available in two sizes) and coffee tables, with their wood tops with parallel slats. Adding the finishing touch is the wireless stainless steel lamp, a smart detail that adds subtle lighting to any setting.

Sunreef Takes Multihull of the Year 2025

On April 23rd, at the La Grande Motte International Multihull Show in France, the electric 60 Sunreef Power Eco was crowned Multihull of the Year 2025 in the Multipower category. This prestigious competition, organized by Multihulls World magazine, celebrates the most outstanding and innovative yachts in the global multihull industry.  This luxurious 60-foot catamaran stands out with its ground-breaking solar power system, featuring photovoltaic cells seamlessly integrated into the yacht’s hulls, bimini roof, and superstructure. Powered by two electric engines, the vessel enjoys a continuous supply of clean energy, ensuring a smooth and sustainable e-motoring experience.  The 60 Sunreef Power Eco also boasts a dedicated ultralight battery bank, enabling silent, vibration-free cruising. Designed for a truly 360° sustainable journey, it incorporates eco-conscious features such as energy-efficient air conditioning and environmentally responsible finishing materials—setting a new standard in green yachting.

Sunreef Introduces Solar Skin 3.0

Sunreef Yachts continues to lead the way in luxury and sustainability with the introduction of Solar Skin 3.0. As part of a broader design evolution across its new catamaran lineup, this cutting-edge solar system marks a bold step toward smarter, more sustainable yachting.  The launch of Solar Skin 3.0 builds on Sunreef’s legacy, delivering a refined and highly efficient solution that significantly reduces the carbon footprint of each vessel.  The previous generation, Solar Skin 2.0, was already recognized for its industry-leading performance, offering 24.8% efficiency and exceptional thermal stability—capable of operating at temperatures above 100°C and compatible with dark paint finishes. It also featured impressive resistance to micro cracking, having been durability-tested over 20,000 load cycles, and incorporated RFID chips in each panel for seamless diagnostics and maintenance.  The newly launched Solar Skin 3.0 elevates this innovation even further. It introduces intelligent yield optimization, using advanced algorithms to adjust electrical output in real-time, especially in areas affected by complex shading from sails or rigging.    The layout of the solar system has been designed using machine learning algorithms to optimize panel placement, ensuring maximum energy efficiency tailored to real-world usage. Additionally, the bimini areas of the new catamarans are now equipped with next-generation photovoltaic cells specifically optimized for shaded environments, further enhancing energy generation even under less-than-ideal lighting conditions.  This is more than just an upgrade—it’s a visionary leap toward the future of yachting.

Viking 61 Years Anniversary

Viking celebrate its 61st anniversary. Brothers Bill and Bob Healey founded Viking on April 1, 1964, starting with just an unheated shed with dirt floors on the banks of the Bass River. By adhering to the Viking mantra of building a better boat every day, Viking has risen to the top of the marine industry as the leading manufacturer of semi-custom sportfishing yachts and high-performance outboard boats, all produced in a combined one million square feet of manufacturing space. Always moving forward, Viking has grown into a family of eight companies within the Viking Marine Group, all still owned and operated by the Healey family.  The Viking Legacy film captures the essence of our company, telling our story like never before. Viking Key West Challenge 2025

It's called a "challenge," but succeeding in this tournament is incredibly easy: Just have fun! The Viking Key West Challenge (VKWC) seems to get better every year, bringing more good times, smiling faces and family enjoyment. The 2025 event, held from April 9 to 13, featured 50 boats and over 500 guests.   “We want to thank all of you for being here – it was another unbelievable four days,” Viking President and CEO Pat Healey said at the Awards Dinner at the Opal Key Sunset Pier. “The fishing was good, the parties were even better and the friendship, camaraderie and fellowship were over the top. That’s what it’s all about – coming together and having a good time and doing what we love.”  The fleet featured Vikings ranging from 46 to 90 feet and Valhallas from 37 to 55 feet. Anglers released 168 sailfish over the two days of fishing and the Spot Zero Weigh Station was thumping as excited anglers brought their catches – tuna, cobia, dolphin, kingfish and the tournament’s first-ever pompano – to the scales.  Presented by Christi Insurance Group and Travelers Insurance, this year’s Viking Key West Challenge saw the Viking 61 Right Choice repeat as the Grand Champion and Top Boat in the Sailfish category, releasing 12 sails and boating a cobia. In Second Place was the Valhalla 55 Wingman II with 10 sailfish releases, followed in Third Place by Pipe Dreamer, a Viking 70, with eight.  Right Choice angler Lucie Kapusta won Top Angler with eight releases, as well as Top Female Angler. Second went to Brad VandenBerg on Wingman II with a half dozen sailfish releases and a kingfish. Christina Henry on the Valhalla 37 Rehab took Third Place Angler with five releases.  In the tuna category, Guy Lanciano aboard the 58 On A Roll took First. Jessika Gonzalez on the 90 Zatara won First Place for dolphin, while Richard Battaglia on The Interview, a 68, and Al West Jr. on the 72 Tami Ann captured First for kingfish and Cobia, respectively. Rob Lopez on The Provider, an 80, took First for bottom fish.   The youngsters are always the stars of the show. This year it was 11-year-old Hayden Rickman – never without his cowboy hat – and his brother Kamden, 7, who stole the crowd. Hayden earned Top Junior Angler for four sailfish releases aboard the family’s Viking 48 Dear Rodeo. This was the first time the Rickmans have participated in the Challenge. “We’ve just had a tremendous time,” said a proud Joby Rickman after his son received his award, with Kamden by his side for a photograph with Pat Healey. “Everyone has been so nice and has made us feel so welcome. I can’t say enough about this event,” added mom, Leslie Rickman. “We love being part of the Viking family, and we aren’t going anywhere. We are already talking about moving up to a bigger Viking.”  Although not a money tournament, the Viking Key West Challenge has great partners who gave away some incredible prizes – almost $40,000 worth. In a drawing, the top prize of a GOST Global Tracking and Security Monitoring package worth $7,500 went to Sea Hawk, a Viking 90; a Spot Zero Mobile Pro Unit valued at $7,000 went to 1st Place team Right Choice; and a $6,000 Switlik Coastal Passage Raft was awarded to Top Angler Lucie Kapusta. Prizes were also from FLIR, Simrad, Seatronx, Garmin, Furuno, Icom, KVH, SiriusXM, Yeti, Airmar and others.  The teams travelled to the southernmost point of the U.S. to compete in an event that is “More Than Just Fishing!” The festivities began on Wednesday evening at Dante’s Key West with registration, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and the Captains’ Meeting. “We have the best owners and the best boats in the world,” said Pat. Friday’s lay day included a Pool Party Lunch, a Duval Street Bar Crawl Poker Run and a Kids Dock Tournament.  More than 75 of Viking’s business partners sponsored the VKWC, such as Foley Cat, MAN Engines, Johnson & Towers/MTU and The Billfish Foundation. The 12th annual Viking Key West Challenge takes place Wednesday, April 8 through Sunday, April 12, 2026.

Viking at Signature Triple Crown Series

Congratulations to Team Galati for a 2nd Place Overall finish at the Signature Triple Crown series in Los Suenos, Costa Rica. Captain Tony Carrizosa led the team through three tournaments, releasing an incredible 186 billfish (four marlin and 182 sailfish) aboard the Viking 64. Veterans on the Triple Crown podium, Team Galati has won the series an unprecedented three times. They went back-to-back in 2020 and 2021 and again in 2023.  Stay tuned for a recap of the great success Vikings have seen in Costa Rica over the past several months.

Viking at Chud Cay Open

Despite sporty seas, Vikings claimed the top three spots at the recent Chub Cay Open. Shane Guidry’s Viking 72 Team Harvey led the charge and captured 1st Place. With captain Erick Soderholm at the helm, the team got off to a hot start by releasing eight sailfish on Day One. On Day Two they added a pair of blue marlin and another sail for the win.  Tai Tai, a Viking 68, claimed 2nd Place with a blue marlin and five sailfish. Third Place went to the Anderson family’s Viking 80 Krazy Salt’s with nine sails. “The boats dealt with challenging conditions because of the wind and waves this year,” said Tournament Direct Robert “Fly” Navarro. “It forced everyone to fish in The Pocket. Fortunately, the billfish got the memo.”

Viking at Old Bahama Bay Triple Quest

Congrats to the Viking 80 Surf Bum for leading the pack at the inaugural Old Bahama Bay Triple Quest. Brooke Russel weighed the 1st Place Dolphin at 21.1 pounds while Crystal Brinson hooked a 19.2 pound ‘hoo, which claimed 3rd Place Wahoo. Those two fish resulted in the 2nd Place Aggregate Weight award for a total of 39.3 pounds. Cookie Monster, a Viking 90, brought a 20-pound dolphin to scale to take 2nd Place in that division.

Zeelander Delivers First Boat to Hawaii

A beguiling new Zeelander 5 has just been delivered to Hawaii, proving that there is no corner of the world where Zeelander’s voluptuous appeal is not felt. Featuring a hull in Royal Night’s blue metallic and pearlescent white for the superstructure, Koa now calls the Big Island home.  The Zeelander began its long journey west from the Netherlands, being shipped down the European and African coasts, then across the Atlantic, through the Panama Canal and up to Vancouver. From there, it was transferred to Seattle on a low-loader, where a barge took over for the final 2,800 miles to Hawaii.  The long journey fooled the GPS, according to captain Tony Joyce. “The batteries were turned off in the Netherlands, and when we turned them back on in Hawaii, it took the GPS a minute to update its mileage. Now I've got 13,000-something miles on the GPS, while, in reality, she has only covered 300-400 herself!”

Zeelender Artistic Film

Zeelender present a short film in a poetic tribute to the art of craftsmanship—a quiet, evocative look at the patience, precision, and emotion that define every Zeelander, and the extraordinary feeling each yacht is built to awaken.

Azimut Best of the Best China Award 2025

Azimut confirms itself as the most appealing brand among HNWIs in China. The results of the latest research conducted by the prestigious Hurun Research Institute have seen the Shipyard awarded as the "Best Innovative Yacht Brand" and the revolutionary Seadeck 7 awarded the title of “Luxury Hybrid Yacht Best New Arrival.”  Azimut is recognized, yet again, as a pioneer of innovation in the nautical sector, winning two important awards at the Best of the Best Awards 2025, presented by the Hurun Research Institute based on the results of the Hurun Chinese Luxury Consumer Survey.  Every year, the Hurun Research Institute, an authoritative research center linked to the Chinese business and lifestyle magazine of the same name, analyzes the preferences of high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) in China through a survey conducted on a panel of 750 HNWIs, with an average wealth of 47.5 million CNY (equivalent to 6.5 million US dollars) and an investable wealth of 12 million CNY (1.6 million US dollars). Among them, 32 are UHNWIs, exceeding 100 million CNY (14 million US dollars) in wealth.  During the awards ceremony held in Shanghai, the Shipyard was awarded as the “Best Innovative Yacht Brand”. This title, already given to Azimut in a previous edition of the award, celebrates the Shipyard’s unending search for cutting-edge solutions to offer a unique experience to its owners.  In addition, the revolutionary Seadeck 7 received the prestigious "Luxury Hybrid Yacht Best New Arrival" award, underlining the revolutionary impact of this model on the market. As the first production yacht to integrate a hybrid-electric system with Volvo Penta IPS propulsion, the Seadeck 7 allows a reduction in CO₂ emissions of up to 40% in an average year of use, offering a concrete alternative for an owner attentive to sustainability without compromising comfort and performance.  With this double success at the Best of the Best Awards 2025, Azimut confirms its role as a reference in luxury yachting and strengthens its presence in China, where, since 2006, it has delivered around 200 boats to local owners. This milestone is yet another testament to the success of the brand and its ability to anticipate market trends, as it charts the course towards an increasingly innovative and sustainable future.

Cantieri di Pisa Refit Division Sees Wave of Orders

Intense activity continues to be the story at Cantieri di Pisa, starting with its refit division, which in the last three years has seen a surge in demand.  Among the numerous boats undergoing work at the yard, over thirty yachts at present, there are three superyachts built by some of the world’s most important builders: a 50-metre Benetti, a 41-metre Feadship and a 43-metre Perini Navi sailing yacht, all close to being handed back to their owners.

Cranchi at Fuorisalone with Immersio Temporis

From April 7th to 13th, the historic Palazzo Clerici, located in the heart of the Brera Design District, will host this impressive installation that explores the concept of time through a dual immersion, both physical and metaphorical. "Immersio Temporis" is an interpretation of design and nautical art that transcends temporal boundaries and reimagines the perception of time, in a sensory experience that blends beauty, innovation, and tradition.  The installation invites the viewer to look upwards from an unusual perspective. This new viewpoint transforms the perception of the surrounding environment: the hull, suspended between sky and earth, represents a crystallized moment, a point of equilibrium where time seems to suspend itself. It plays with the concepts of fluidity and change, much like water, which holds stories and memories. The blue fabrics—evocative of water and made from 500 square meters of printed crystal fabric—suggest continuity and immutability.  The gaze is then drawn to the solid anchoring to the ground, symbolizing the foundations on which Cranchi Yachts has built its success since 1870. The work creates a strong contrast between the perception of lightness and the solidity of its very structure.

Greenline Pioneers Bitcoin Payment

Greenline Yachts has become a cryptocurrency pioneer in the marine space, after taking its first order paid entirely in the digital currency Bitcoin. The deal for a Greenline 45 Coupe was inked at boot Düsseldorf 2025, with the funds received in early February. It was an entirely positive experience, according to Greenline Yachts.  “We have been allowing customers to pay in Bitcoin since 2018, but this is the first one to take us up on it,” said Greenline owner Vladimir Zinchenko. “We have got close a couple of times, but never cleared the final hurdle. This time it was different, and the transaction proceeded very smoothly. We would welcome future payments in cryptocurrency.”  The buyer was introduced by Yacht Partners International in Greece, and he quickly reached the contract stage for the 45 Coupe. Signing at Düsseldorf allowed him to benefit from Greenline’s usual boat show offer, providing an express build slot for summer delivery the same year. It means that the lucky owner should get his hands on the yacht in June – plenty of time for enjoying a Mediterranean summer.

This vision aligns perfectly with Denison Yachting, making this partnership a natural fit between two respected names in the industry.  “It’s been six months since we first met the Ocean King team at the Cannes Yachting Festival, and we couldn’t be more excited about this partnership,” said Peter Quintal, yacht broker at Denison Yachting, who represents the brand alongside broker Will Noftsinger. “Right away, we saw the huge potential in bringing Ocean King Yachts to the Americas. Their top-notch craftsmanship and dedication to excellence make them a perfect match for our clients looking for high-quality, long-range explorer yachts. What really sets Ocean King apart is their outstanding communication, in-house fabrication capabilities, and bold vision for the future. They’ve been producing steel hulls for some of the most respected yacht builders in the industry for years.”  Denison Yachting’s initial focus will be on the 36m Ducale 120 and 40m Doge 400 models, both with impressive lead times of just 28 months from contract signing. Additionally, new models will be introduced for the Doge 350, Doge 500, and Ducale 140, expanding the range of available options for clients seeking exceptional design and performance. Ocean King’s ruggedly designed Explorer series, ranging from 27 to 40 meters, will also be available, with the capability to develop custom yacht projects up to 100 meters.  This partnership comes at a key moment for Ocean King, which has recently expanded its shipyard with three additional construction sheds, allowing builds up to 70 meters. This growth positions both companies at the forefront of a new era in the yachting industry, offering unparalleled quality and service to clients across the Americas.  “We’re proud to be represented by Denison Yachting and excited to bring our yachts to the American market,” said Alberto and David Ballarin, partners at Ocean King. “Right now, we have several builds underway, including a new Doge 400 hull, and we’re open for new orders. We’re also expanding our facility with new sheds to accommodate builds up to 70 meters. Our commitment to craftsmanship, innovation, and customer satisfaction perfectly aligns with Denison Yachting’s values.”

Sacs-Tecnorib Presents Mar Garrente

Throughout Sacs-Tecnorib history, design has been a driving force in the conception of its boats. Created by Christian Grande in collaboration with the artisans of Henraux, this sculpture in Bianco Altissimo marble draws from Futurism, a movement that highlights modernity, speed, and dynamism in contemporary life.

Azimut-Benetti Group Adopts Sea Index

The Azimut|Benetti Group and Sea Index® are pleased to announce a landmark agreement to reduce carbon emissions in the yachting industry.  As part of the agreement, the Superyacht Eco Association will support Azimut|Benetti Group in adopting its flagship SEA Index CO2 Emissions Rating tool for yachts over 24 metres. This will be deployed by Azimut|Benetti Group’s R&D Team as an eco-design tool to enhance the sustainability of its fleet.  Applicable to both fully custom and semi-custom yachts >24m, the Sea Index CO2 Emissions Rating tool delivers accurate, unbiased and third-party verified emissions data. In addition to being used by yacht owners to assess the energy intensity of their vessels, the Sea Index framework can be integrated into the concept phase of new-build yachts to support eco-conscious boat design and construction.  "We are thrilled to partner with Sea Index to reinforce our commitment to sustainable yacht design by validating our yachts' emission targets through Sea Index’s rigorous framework. Achieved through advanced naval architecture and cutting-edge technologies, these targets reflect our dedication to innovation and environmental responsibility. Furthermore, we believe this collaboration will encourage greater transparency in data sharing, fostering a more conscious approach among industry players and yacht owners alike,” states Alessandro Rossi, Chief Product Officer Azimut|Benetti Group.  This initiative marks the next chapter in the partnership between Azimut|Benetti Group and SEA Index, following the 2023 announcement of the upcoming adoption of the Carbon Emission Index for yachts under 24 meters, developed by Lloyd’s Register at the drive of Azimut|Benetti Group. This innovative formula is designed to accurately assess and rate the carbon footprint of <24m yachts, involving the most widespread category of yachts in our seas.  “We are delighted to collaborate with Azimut|Benetti Group on this important initiative. It is encouraging to see esteemed industry leaders embracing the Sea Index CO2 Emissions Rating tool to prioritise sustainability from the outset. Similarly, we look forward to incorporating Azimut’s formula for measuring carbon emissions of yachts under 24 metres into the SEA Index ecosystem. Together, we can drive meaningful change in the industry and empower yachting stakeholders to embrace a more sustainable future”, comments Natalie Quevert, Project Lead, Sea  Index.

Mama Seata (Hull 5/Bayliss 64') and Catch 23 (Bayliss 82') delivered outstanding performances at the Pelagic Rockstar Offshore Billfish Tournament, while six Bayliss builds showcased their talent during Leg 1 of the Signature Triple Crown.  At the Rockstar tournament, Mama Seata had an incredible run, releasing 62 billfish—2 blue marlin and 60 sailfish—which earned them 3rd place overall. Over two days of competition, the team racked up 6,600 points and secured 2nd place finishes in both the Sonar 20K Billfish Release and Sonar 3K Billfish Release Overall divisions.  Catch 23 also delivered an impressive performance, claiming the daily win in all marlin divisions on Day 1 after releasing two blue marlin. By the tournament’s conclusion, the team had released 36 billfish, including 2 blue marlin, 1 black marlin, and 33 sailfish.  In late January, the prestigious Signature Triple Crown billfish tournament kicked off, with Mama Seata carrying momentum into Leg 1. Additionally, Tarheel and Catch 23 also made their mark, taking 4th and 5th place for the daily, respectively, on Day 3.  This exceptional representation of Bayliss Boatworks is a testament to the skill and dedication of the crews and the craftsmanship of the vessels. Congratulations to Mama Seata, Catch 23, and all Bayliss teams for their hard work and accomplishments. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the season has in store!

Bavaria Showroom Weekend

On the first weekend in February, Bavaria Yachts in Giebelstadt and more than twenty Bavaria Yachts dealers worldwide opened their doors for the International Bavaria Yachts Showroom Weekend.  More than 200 customers and owners accepted the invitation to the shipyard near Würzburg. In addition to the presentation of the new Bavaria SR35 Open Top and Bavaria Vida motorboats, Bavaria also showed it’s new hardtop for the C46 for the first time. Right on time on Saturday 1st February at 10 am, the first cars arrived in front of the Yachten Meltl showroom in Bernau.  The Saal Marina at the Danube, Bavaria Norge in Oslo, Evasion in the south of France and all other participating dealers reported a full house on Saturday. At the Bavaria shipyard, many customers had already been given a tour of the production facilities on Friday and by the weekend it was really crowded. Over 200 guests were counted by Sunday evening. In addition to the shipyard itself, visitors focused on the sailing and motor boats on display in the showroom.  Bavaria presented the Vida with a new cockpit layout and new Suzuki engines for the first time. The Vida has also changed a lot below deck. In the layout with a large sun lounger on the foredeck, the berth in the cabin has grown to 2.10 metres in length and over 2 metres in width.  In addition to the classic hardtop version, Bavaria is starting the new year with an Open Top version of its successful SR35. A lowered windscreen gives the Bavaria SR35 a real open feeling and therefore even more driving pleasure.  “In cooperation with our dealers in Europe and North America, the International Bavaria Yachts Showroom Weekend was a complete success that we will certainly repeat. When else do you have the opportunity to talk to customers in a relaxed atmosphere and clarify specific questions directly on the boat,” reports Bavaria Yachts CEO Michael Müller.  But before a new Showroom Weekend is planned, Bavaria Yachts and its dealer network have the spring boat shows in Tulln, St. Malo and Neustadt, for example, and a trial sail for customers of Yachts Meltl in Croatia at the beginning of April on the agenda.

Bavaria Expands Service Network

Bavaria Yachts is further expanding its service network for Bavaria owners in the Mediterranean area.  Pitter Yachtcharter in Biograd has now become a new base in Croatia and an authorised Bavaria Service Partner. Pitter Yachtcharter just opened its new dry dock marina not far from the harbour in Biograd at the beginning of the year.  In addition to its international dealer network, Bavaria is further expanding its service network for customers in the Mediterranean. The aim is to provide Bavaria owners with additional service partners who are not only authorised by Bavaria Yachts to carry out all work on a Bavaria, from simple maintenance and repair work to warranty services, but who can also offer all standard spare parts on site. The authorised Bavaria Yachts service partners are trained by Bavaria and are in constant contact with the shipyard's experts.  Pitter Yachtcharter, known to many customers for its large charter fleet of Bavaria yachts in Croatia and the Mediterranean, is now the latest authorised Bavaria Yachts service partner. Based in Biograd, not only for Croatia but for the entire Adriatic region, Pitter is the point of contact for all owners of Bavaria Yachts. The brand-new dry dock marina in the immediate vicinity of Marina Biograd has just been opened by the Pitter team at the beginning of the year.  The dry dock marina extends over 14,000 square metres and offers 80 dry dock berths for boats and yachts up to 10 metres in length. Pitter's experienced team of technicians offers a wide range of services, from regular maintenance to complex repairs or a complete refit.  ‘Our aim is to offer Bavaria owners a dense service network with first-class partners - the cooperation with Pitter Yachtcharter is another important step in this direction,’ explains Dominik Hart, Head of Customer Service and Quality at Bavaria Yachts.

Benetti Yachtmaster 2025

At its annual gathering for captains, surveyors, owner representatives and industry experts, Benetti reaffirms its leadership in innovation and design by presenting the latest products and sustainable technologies from the company’s Design and Research & Development departments and the new customer service through to after-sales. Devised and launched with great passion and foresight by Azimut|Benetti Group founder Paolo Vitelli in 2000, the Benetti Yachtmaster has this year reached its 25th edition, held in the splendid setting of the Fairmont Royal Palm Hotel in Marrakesh from February 12 to 14. With over 200 guests, the two-day event was organized for major international industry players, captains, surveyors and owner representatives to share their experiences. Day 1 was devoted entirely to an innovative coaching session based on a Serious Game. Sitting around a table, groups of 10 people used ‘conversation cards’ as a dynamic tool to stimulate discussion around the most relevant work issues. In a collective brainstorming session, participants shared ideas and solutions to identify areas for improvement guided by three key principles: communication, collaboration and connection. The goal was to foster an open, constructive dialogue, promoting innovative strategies to strengthen relationships between colleagues and improve overall efficiency. Day 2 was an opportunity for all the participants to get a closer look at Benetti’s vision of the future in terms of innovation and design, sustainability and assistance, with the contribution of the Group’s refit division Lusben. Azimut|Benetti Group CEO Marco Valle opened this plenary session by celebrating, in this particularly significant year for the Shipyard, the Yachtmaster’s first quarter of a century and its profound significance for relationships with stakeholders. He also underscored the Group’s successes by analysing the results of the Global Order Book promoted by BOAT International and published in December 2024. Benetti General Manager Massimiliano Casoni focused the conversation on the strategic value of collaboration between the Shipyard and the main players in the boat building industry, which is what underpins Benetti’s determination to establish deeper relationships, rooted in trust and shared values, for the ultimate purpose of greater owner satisfaction. To further consolidate these relationships, the Shipyard conducted interviews in 2024 using the Net Promoter Score (NPS), an effective tool for measuring customer satisfaction and understanding customers’ propensity to recommend the brand. Together with other tools, the interview results helped identify Benetti’s strengths and areas for improvement. In explaining this strategy, Benetti GM Massimiliano Casoni added that “Benetti’s success is based on constant dialogue with the various players, including captains, who play a key role in telling the yacht builder what the real onboard requirements are. This is an ongoing dialogue that’s far more than the mere delivery of a product: Benetti’s goal is to create made-to-measure yachts that meet the specific needs of owners, captains and crew, thereby guaranteeing an exclusive yachting experience”. Next, Benetti Sales Manager Daniela Petrozzi illustrated the order backlog up to the end of 2028, with 60 yachts under construction and on order totalling over 2.7 km in length, each built to meet the needs of a specific owner. Every Benetti yacht, in fact, is tailor made and built to meet the customer’s expectations, and this is made possible by the wide range of products. Petrozzi drew attention to the backlog’s breakdown by geographical region – Europe (35%), MEA and APAC (33%), Americas (32%) – and extended a special thank you to the captains, brokers and surveyors with whom Benetti works and who contributed to securing 75% of the contracts involved. Benetti Head of Product Sebastiano Vida spoke about Benetti’s special role as ‘The House of Yachting’, a definition that reflects the pleasure boat sector’s perception of the brand’s excellence and at the same time its huge responsibility towards everyone who wants to enjoy the experience of owning a Benetti yacht. This calls for exceptional design, Italian craftsmanship and quality, technological innovation, commitment to sustainability and solutions providing unique levels of customisation. It’s also why the Shipyard launched a new initiative, “Perspective from the Bridge”, enabling captains to explain their point of view at a roundtable focusing on topics such as innovation, sustainability and insights into owners’ ways of enjoying their yachts, the aim being to continually improve their onboard experience. This was also an opportunity to illustrate the projects presented at the Monaco Boat Show last September. Gilberto Francesini (Benetti R&D Project Manager) and Marco Coiatelli (Benetti Custom Head of Engineering) presented the Shipyard’s Green Route up to the present day and anticipated some future developments. Benetti and the Group for over 20 years have been actively engaged in seeking out real-world solutions for cutting CO2 emissions. The most recent developments at Azimut|Benetti Group’s R&D department have centred on the study of alternative fuels, which led to the adoption of HVO, a biofuel obtained from renewable raw materials* that makes it possible to reduce CO2 emissions by up to 90% compared to the standard fossil mix, depending on the materials used in its production. HVO is seen as the ideal solution today, but given the limited availability of raw materials to produce it, the Group R&D office performed new research on green methanol from renewable sources to be used on Benetti yachts as soon as 2025. A methanol engine room simulator (based on a new 68M project) will be installed in Livorno to help captains familiarize themselves with the functions, safety and management of this new solution. Benetti Class Warranty Manager Pierluigi Rago and Benetti Custom Warranty Manager Luigi Spina illustrated one of the pillars of Benetti’s strategy, the new assistance programmes serving owners and crews of the Class and Custom yacht lines, offering constant personalized support to the Shipyard’s highest standards wherever the boat is and not limited to the new build phase but for the yacht’s entire life cycle. Every unit has the benefit of a dedicated Service Manager during the warranty period and a global network of Service Points designed to guarantee prompt and highly specialised intervention worldwide, not only at the Livorno HUB but also in the Americas, the Middle East and the Asia Pacific region. Ferdinando Pilli, General Manager at Lusben since September 2024, outlined the changes being implemented in the Lusben division and the new services and infrastructure following completion of the €12 million investment package in the three-year plan, and spoke about future projects at the Livorno site to support captains and crews. “The division’s recent results confirm that investments in infrastructure and personnel in the last few years are bearing fruit,” said Lusben GM Ferdinando Pilli. “We’re still investing to make stays more enjoyable for captains and crews and we’re sure that all this, along with the quality of our work, will enable Lusben to consolidate its role as the refit Hub for the entire Mediterranean.” Thanks to its consolidated expertise and in-depth knowledge of Benetti products – the two companies are in the same Group – Lusben is also capable of providing yacht maintenance beyond the warranty period. As announced by Lusben Sales Manager Gianni Paladino, the company will be managing Benetti’s after-sales service from 2025 on, offering full, integrated support in terms of yacht maintenance, assistance and refits. And Head of After-Sales Service Andrea Moschese added that the new hub will also guarantee service after the warranty period, with a five-year maintenance contract covering preventive and corrective maintenance, refitting services and integrated support for spare parts supply, as well as technical documentation and consulting. Thanks to Lusben’s made-to-measure approach and advanced facilities, customers will be able to enjoy highly specialised assistance globally. In the second part of the day, the participants engaged in some team building activities in the Medina quarter of Marrakech, providing an opportunity for interaction and creating genuine connections based on a sharing of values. Because synergy and relationships are the true heart of Yachtmaster. Benetti extends thanks to the following partners and sponsors whose contribution is vital to the production and success of the event: GIGA partners: AWLGRIP, Viraver, Volvo Penta. Viking Takes InTheBite Gulf Coast Division Captain of the Year

Big fish stories have defined captain Chase Lake’s sportfishing journey, marking both highs and lows. Back in 2016, Chase endured what seemed like a huge disappointment. He was fishing with friends on the Viking 54 Rise Up during the Orange Beach Billfish Classic. A 771-pound blue marlin was hooked in the tournament’s final minutes but missed the weigh-in by less than two minutes.  But, the battle with the blue caught the attention of Allen Krake, owner of the Viking 72 Team Supreme. Impressed by Chase’s skills, Allen hired him shortly after. “What felt like one of the most tragic things at the time turned out to be one of the best things that’s ever happened to me,” Chase says.  Fast forward to 2024, and Chase, alongside Team Supreme, achieved an extraordinary feat, winning the Gulf Coast Triple Crown Championship for the second year in a row and cinching InTheBite’s Furuno Gulf Coast Division Captain of the Year title.  With anglers Allen Krake, his wife Lisa, sons Allen Jr. and Alex, and Lennie Stephens, plus mates Seth Brennan and Hunter Smith, Team Supreme aims to make history by claiming a third consecutive Gulf Coast Triple Crown in 2025.  “I’ve found a new fishing technique where we catch a lot of tag-and-release fish,” Chase says. “Plus, the Viking is super-fast. Let’s just say we have a little old-school and new-school magic going for us.”

Viking at Masters Angling Tournament

Created over six decades ago by John Rybovich and his fellow anglers, the Masters Angling Tournament provides an opportunity to truly display fishing skill. “One thing is certain,” says long-time Masters angler Sam Peters, “you either love this format or you think we are crazy!” Two anglers per boat fish 7.5 hours a day and when the anglers set the hook, the boat goes dead in the water. Anglers are scored on fight time and dead baiting a marlin earns double points.  Sixteen boats fished this year. Captain Tony Carrizosa, fishing the Viking 64 Team Galati, captured the Top Boat Overall and High Boat Captain with 46 releases over three days. Second Place boat honors went to Pura Vida, a Viking 68, and captain Rudy Arguedas with 44 releases. Shon Craig, owner of the Viking 64 Amarula Son, won the Pete Boinis Award for the Fastest Fish – nine seconds!

Viking at Buccaneer Cup Sailfish Tournament

The Buccaneer Cup Sailfish Tournament saw an incredible three days of fishing action with a record-breaking 808 sailfish releases. And Vikings rose to the top of the leaderboard. Fish On, a Viking 48, got the party started with the first fish of the tournament. Top Dead Bait Release Boat went to Charles Brogdon’s Viking 50 Two Daze Off. Captain Scott Fawcett put the team on 23 sailfish for the honors. Second Place Dead Bait was the Viking 55 Kateric with 19 releases. William Wrede’s Viking 62 Lovin Life weighed the 2nd Heaviest Meatfish with a 21.4-pound cobia. Over $380,000 was paid out to winners and $75,000 was raised for The Billfish Foundation and Viking's Fisheries Conservation Trust.

Viking at Silverfish Sailfish Derby

Cold conditions equalled a hot bite at the 88th annual Silver Sailfish Derby. Hosted by the West Palm Beach Fishing Club, temps dropped into the 40s, and the 50-boat fleet battled five-to-seven-foot seas. Fish On, a Viking 48, buckled down and released 14 sailfish during the two days of fishing. This earned them Top Boat, and Andrew Dotterweich took Top Captain. Right on their heels was the Viking 68 Twin Reels. Captain Darrin Isaacs put the team on 12 sails for a 2nd Place Overall finish.

Viking at 2025 Signature Triple Crown at Los Suenos

Team Galati, a Viking 64, came out swinging at the 2025 Signature Triple Crown in Los Suenos, Costa Rica. Captain Tony Carrizosa put the team on 22 sailfish on Day One and kept the momentum rolling. The team of Carmine Galati Sr., Pat Healey, Drew McDowell, Eric McDowell and Thomas “Smalls” Garmany ended Leg I with one marlin and 86 sails to cement a 2nd Place finish. Fish Tank, the Jessen's Viking 64, released 76 sails and two marlin to secure 4th place. Leg II begins February 26 and Leg III starts on March 26. Stay tuned!
