Ferretti Yacht Saved from Sinking Near Punta Ala

A 23 meter Ferretti motor yacht with five persons onboard was saved from sinking or doing further damage, as it ended a top a reef in Punta Hidalgo, to the East of Punta Ala, Province of Grossetto, Tuscany on the afternoon of Sunday fourth August.  The Ferretti yacht ended atop a soft reef and was assisted by the marine section of the Guardia di Finanza with the vessel V.839, who with gentle care towed the yacht to safety without doing further damage.  The yacht was later assisted and returned to Punta Ala Marina for an inspection of the possible damage from the collision.
The Ferretti yacht in this reef collision is a 750, as designed by Zuccon and produced from 2014 to 2017.  The Ferretti 750 came out as a replacement to the first generation 720, of which she was an evolution, and was replaced by the 780.
