New Model: Extra Yachts X90 Fast

Extra Yachts announces the launch of the first unit of the X90 Fast. A 28-meter super sport yacht as designed by Hot Lab studio for both exterior and interior, and built in CE class standard and entirely in fiberglass. Following its launch in mid July the first X90 Fast made its debut at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival.  The new X90 Fast replaces the X86 sold in two units, and stands out for its unmistakable lines. The subdued design of the windows concealed in the hull, allows for the linear silhouette of the profile to be maintained and for natural light to flood the interior. Indeed, we find a spacious living room, separated from the stern cockpit by the typical galley with up/down windows, which not only provides a partition between the two spaces, but also functions as a transit and distribution area. From the galley the crew can reach both their quarters, located forward of the engine room, and the sun deck. All this to leave the fore lounge and the wheelhouse, with smoked glass closure free from crew transit and, if necessary, to the exclusive use of guests. The outdoor areas constitute the true strong point, relying on 86 squared meters of volume. The cockpit develops on three levels: an eight to ten seater dining table, living area with C-shaped sofa and sunbathing spot and finally, at water surface, the bathing section. Below deck, there are four double guest cabins served by private bathrooms, with a master cabin amidships taking advantage of the over seven metre maximum beam. A crew of four people finds accommodation in two cabins with private bathrooms. The first Extra Yachts X90 Fast was powered by triple Volvo 1000hp with IPS pod drives propulsion for top speeds up to thirty knots, a fast cruise of 24, with a twelve knots giving a one thousand nautical miles.

During the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival Riva debuted its new 58 Capri model.  Based on the 56 Rivale platform the 58 Capri main difference is a hard-top, with this new sport yacht offering identical cockpit deck and lower deck layouts.  The 56 Rivale arrived in 2017 as a replacement to the previous twelve years produced Rivale 52 adding space thanks to more length and beam and with this also a full beam owners stateroom.  In 2021 Riva also offered an open hard-T-Top option to the 56 Rivale.  Now Riva adds this new 58 Capri variant, to its seventeen meter size sport yacht series, which has proved a success in the last eight years.  Could Riva had done something more, with the 58 Capri then just add a hard-top?  Probably yes, and considering the change in designation from 56 to 58 with size staying the same, they definitely should have added for example an up and down bathing platform.

New Model: Riviera 4300 Sports Express

Riviera has at the 2025 Sanctuary Cove boat show debuted its new 4300 Sport Express.  The 4300 Sports Express is in concept your usual sport cruiser, but brings a lot of innovative features which you find once you step onboard, from its I am bigger then I look walk-round deck and side-door to port side, and foredeck settee.  These are features which as far as I know do not exist much in sports cruiser of this size.  Another feature of the Riviera 4300 Sports Express is the very cosy hard-top covered main deck, offering the feel of an enclosed sport cruiser even though it is fully open.  Probably the sport cruiser which comes closer to this is the Fairline Targa 45 GTO, altough it's aft sun-pad with underneath garage shows its Mediterranean vocation.  This exterior aft main deck offers two opposite L-shaped settees, an L-shaped wet-bar to port, and dual seat helm station to starboard.  Down below is two cabin sleep five, served by a single spacious with a master room double berth forward, and a double plus single midships cabin.  In between the cabins is an L-shaped saloon with opposite L-shaped galley to starboard.  The Riviera 4300 Sports Express is powered by standard Volvo 440hp or optional 480hp with IPS pod drives.  The 4300 Sports Express is sport cruiser re-invented, with an Australian down under twist, but also features which are usually found in larger yachts.

Developed as a replacement for its popular predecessor, the Sirena 58, the Sirena 60 offers a range of improvements compared to the earlier model. These include larger windows, a redesigned, modernized flybridge, substantially larger exterior spaces both forward and aft and an increase in interior volume. The result is for a slightly larger model providing more space for lounging, improved storage capabilities and a truly eye-catching modern aesthetic, both inside and out. With its head-turning, contemporary lines originally conceived by Frers naval architecture, these have been carefully updated by Sirena’s in-house design experts, whilst still retaining key elements of the design and the all-important Sirena DNA. Such elements include the plumb bow, extended swim platform and striking contrast between the expansive dark-glass surfaces and gleaming white topsides. Stepping inside, the refined and ergonomic interiors feature Corian surfaces, luxurious upholstery and durable high-end materials selected for their aesthetic quality, comfort and practicality in marine environments. Designed with practicality at its heart, the crew areas have been created for maximum efficiency and privacy, with separate access routes and functional galley/service zones to ensure seamless operation without disrupting the owner’s experience. Providing various customization options, the basic configuration of the Sirena 60 is for three large cabins, including a stunning full-beam master cabin amidships and a spacious VIP double located in the bow. The third cabin offers more flexible usage possibilities, where a sliding bed system can transform from a generous double to twin singles, depending on the needs of guests. As an added bonus, all cabins come complete with generous storage space. Other standout areas on board include her trendy forward deck lounge and dining area. Coming complete with a large seat and table options, as well as a matching sun-pad with convertible backrest, it is the perfect location for stylish and comfortable alfresco dining. Furthermore, one of the Sirena 58’s most iconic features, the flybridge, has been improved in both design and capabilities, making it the ideal shaded spot for onboard relaxation. The dashboard and the pilot seats have been modernized, with a slick new Corian worktop introduced in the bar unit, and the sun-pad given a new convertible headrest. Created with adventurous owners in mind, the extended swim platform and generous storage space on board the Sirena 60 allow for easy tender and water toy access. Lancia Aprea follows its first 52 model act with the smaller 42 which debuted at the 2025 Cannes boat show.  Again a design of Brunello Acampora, the smaller 42 follows the theme of the bigger sister, in bringing a walk around sport cruiser in a classic theme.  A lancia Sorrentina in form, although both the 42 and 52 augment the details; from the curved tumble home stern to the extra flared bow, all this make the Lancia Aprea a unique offer in the always more competitive walk around cruiser market.  Like its bigger sister the Lancia Aprea 42 is again a very semi custom offer, from ten unique color for the hulls, the first unit featured a unique Aurora Gold, and the choice theme continuing inside the cabin.  For example hull one had a forward double berth which can be spec'd as a U-shaped dinette which transforms to a double berth, and a midships cabin with twin berths and can be ordered as a double.  Other endless options come also to the power and propulsion; which start from twin 320 and go up to 440hp for the inboards, and propulsion choices of stern drives, to IPS pod drives, line shafts, and outboards with twin or triple's set up.  The outboard version is to be most powerful and faster of the choices; available with twin or triple Honda and Mercury from 350 to 400hp, giving maximum speeds up to 45 knots.

It took time for the current Ferretti Group ownership to notice Itama, a small signal arrived in 2017 when the S update came for the 45, with this followed on the larger 62 in 2020, and the RS update in subsequent years.  Now after sixteen years and the not so lucky Fifty model, Itama is back with this totally new 54.  Officially announced as a project this Winter, the new 54 sees designer Tommaso de Luca take the legendary classic Itama name to a new third generation act, with some new details pushing along the classic ones.  Tommaso de Luca for the new Itama 54 adds new modern interesting features, some less subtle like the outward stern, the integrated sun-pads on the fore deck, and the hull glazing serving the cabin area to the less noticeable near wide body cockpit.  These new features are added to the classic Itama must have; the flush deck, the long windshield, and the aft sun-pad.  The lower deck accommodation for the Itama 54 offers two cabins; master forward and double guest berth to starboard served with two shower heads, an ensuite for the owner and a guest head.  A spacious galley on entry into the cabin area to port side, and a dinette lounge sofa.  The galley is definitely a plus, as it is not only spacious for a sixteen meter yacht, but one of the few to have a lower deck galley since the genre is mostly competed by walk-around type day yachts.  Outside the new 54 is all classic Itama; aft sun-pad, C-shaped dinette and C-shaped lounger to starboard, with a wet bar and helm station to port side.  The Itama 54 is standard powered by twin Man 730hp for speeds up to 33 knots and a cruise of 28, with optional 850hp pushing up to 37 knots.  A technical new feature for the 54 is that it is also the first Itama fitted with propeller tunnels.

New Model: Numarine 40MXP

Numarine, the yacht builder of luxury long range explorer yachts, has launched the first 40MXP superyacht, the new forty metre flagship of its popular XP Series, and its largest build to date. This first 40MXP is to be followed by another second hull unit delivery later this year.  Made for Med and beyond MXP stands for Mediterranean Explorer.  The term reflects the beach club lifestyle typical of the Mediterranean, connecting the 40MXP closer to the water to the other XP Numarine's. The 40MXP is based on the 37XP extended in length and adding recent Med lifestyle solutions, but apart extending the hull the new Numarine flagship has been tweaked in other ways; the aft deck has been significantly enlarged, both as a result of the increased hull length and by moving the saloon’s aft sliding doors slightly forward. The result is a spacious area accommodating a large alfresco dining space, a bar, and a lounge surrounding another standout feature, an aft pool with a glass transom. This spectacular new social hub connects to a vast hydraulic swim platform that spans the yacht’s full eight metre beam.  This outdoor haven can be shaded with an awning to provide protection from the sun, ideal for the warmer climates. Thanks to an optimised hull form developed by long standing naval architecture partner Umberto Tagliavini, the yacht boasts an impressive six thousand nautical miles range at eight knots.  The Numarine 40 MXP is standard powered by twin MAN 800hp engines, for sped up to fourteen knots, with the option to upgrade to twin 900hp. Inside, the yacht offers Numarine’s signature space and luxury.  Accommodation can be arranged across six suites for up to twelve guests, including a full beam master on the main deck, along with two additional customisable cabin spaces.  Crew accommodation is for nine in nine cabins including a captains cabin behind the wheel house.  Both the interior and exterior design are once again the work of Can Yalman, with the 40MXP inheriting everything that made the 37XP a highly sought after and commercially successful model, from an expansive flybridge to a generous upper and inviting main deck. A true global explorer, the yacht offers transatlantic range and a substantial tender deck capable of carrying a nine metre tender and three full size jet skis, with additional space for water toys.

New Model: Palm Beach GT60 Jetdrive

Palm Beach enter its GT series into a new era, as it presents the GT60 with Jetdrive. The Jetdrive version is to be available even on the smaller GT50. With the GT60 Jetdrive, Palm Beach enters into Hinckley territory from a certain point of view, although it is fair to say the GT series is a bit a cross-over styled sporty yacht with hull lines of a down Easter, and a modern more adventurous super structure. In respect to the standard IPS version the GT60 Jetdrive offers little differences, the hull is a bit longer on the chines but a bit shorter in the centreline for the jets, and with the no running gear to the bottom a thirty centimetres less of draft. The first GT60 Jetdrive unit is a customisable boat, painted in a dark near black grey it featured an un-edited open stern layout, with a mezzanine looking aft settee, but also a no patio door main deck. The Palm Beach GT60 Jetdrive is powered by twin Volvo 1000hp with Hamilton water jets and achieved up to 43 knots top speed, with a 35 cruise, which would make it a three knots faster boat to the IPS version.

New Model: Focus 3X

Focus launch the awaited new 3X, an innovative hard-top sport cruiser which breaks a few barriers between a sport-cruiser to those of walk-around day boats.  The Focus 3X shines because it offers similar exterior spaces to those of more open cruiser, with an interesting cabin layout.  The innovative exterior which gets more interesting thanks to the extended hard-top design with two-meter wide electric side windows and the electric glass hardtop in the cockpit, enabling it to seamlessly transition to an almost entirely open boat.  This unique feature provides interesting flexibility and connection to the sea.  Flexibility though does not stop here in the 3X, as it offers two options for the cockpit deck, and four lower deck layout choices.  The cockpit deck comes with the L-shape deck layout, with the option being for symmetrical opposite settee choice.  The lower deck which comes standard with a forward double berth; a small dinette to port side with L-shaped galley opposite, and shower head to starboard at midships.  The flexibility here is endless and what actually never changes is the forward cabin with central double berth, with the most interesting option being the B2 choice for a second cabin with double berth at midships starboard, a shower head forward, and a galley to port.  The Focus 3X shows again its flexibility also in its power choices offered with six engine choices; diesel, gas, sterndrive, and one outboard choice.  The smallest engine choice is the Volvo or Mercruiser diesels at 270hp, with the larger being the twin 430hp Mercruiser.
