Azimut-Benetti Group 2023/2024 Revenues and Investment Plan

At the press conference held on September 10, 2024, to mark the opening of the Cannes Yachting Festival, Azimut|Benetti Group announced its financial results for the year 2023/2024.  The Shipyard concluded the past yachting season by confirming the steady upward trend that has seen the Group’s revenues rise from €840 million in 2020/2021 to €1.3 billion in the financial year 2023/2024, with growth of 55% reported in the last four years.  The financial year to August 31, 2024, saw an acceleration in profitability, with gross operating margin (EBITDA) up 30% year-on-year as a result of business growth and the Shipyard’s increased operating efficiency in the period.  The backlog of new orders since January 1, 2024, stands at €2.6 billion and extends to 2029, outlining a positive future scenario for the Group and ensuring double-digit growth in 2024/2025 too, with the revenue target set at €1.5 billion.  These results reward the product strategy put in place by the Shipyard, with wins in all segments and all the main geographies, as is demonstrated by the Group’s backlog distribution by area, split equally between Europe (40%), Americas (37%) and MEA APAC (23%).  For the three-year period 2025-2027, Azimut|Benetti Group has launched an investment plan worth a total €160 million to support the company’s strategic priorities.  The main goal – with €99.3 million earmarked to achieve it – is to increase the production capacity of all the Group’s shipyards, with a view to fulfilling the considerable order backlog and involving further developments in automation and the implementation of new technologies. The Group’s main sites, not least its storied headquarters in Avigliana (Turin), will also be refurbished in a project by AMDL CIRCLE and architect Michele De Lucchi.  A further €43.2 million will be invested in R&D and new product development, aiming to continue the expansion of the world’s largest fleet with innovative yachts in terms of their technology and design solutions. Finally, another €13.9 million will be invested in digitalization projects, with virtual reality increasingly used in prototyping, design and the communication with the owner during both the purchase and configuration of the yacht.  “After a period of unprecedented growth, we are now experiencing a physiological contraction of the market, which the Group can manage from a position of strength thanks to the significant order backlog. In this scenario, the Group’s strategies have made and will make the difference: innovative yachts and the correct positioning of the Azimut and Benetti brands, a broad-based international presence and ongoing production evolution,” commented Marco Valle, Azimut|Benetti Group CEO.

Azimut Takes Double at World Yacht Trophies 2024

Now in its 23rd edition, the World Yachts Trophies, organized by Yachts France magazine, annually award the best yachts presented during the previous yachting season. This year, Azimut was honoured in two different categories.  The first Azimut yacht named a winner at the 2024 Yacht Trophies is the Seadeck 7, awarded in the “Best Exterior Design” category. Seadeck 7 is the second model in the Seadeck Series, designed by Alberto Mancini, which introduces the concept of the Fun Island, a central element of the new lifestyle that embraces the sea on all sides for an immersive experience, inviting a genuine and profound connection with nature. The Seadeck 7 also marks a milestone in the Shipyard’s green path, being the first yacht in the world to combine hybrid power with Volvo Penta's IPS propulsion system.  In the “Best Layout” category, the new Fly 62 by Azimut was awarded. She is not only the latest model from one of Azimut’s most iconic Series, but also a true revolution in the flybridge segment. With the Fly 62, the Beach Cockpit is born: the transom opens outward, and the sofa lowers in a synchronized movement, eliminating any physical barriers and creating a spacious sunbathing area close to the water, offering a unique connection to the sea for a yacht in this segment.  These awards confirm the ongoing success of Azimut's innovative solutions, which, after receiving significant recognition at Cannes, is now preparing to participate in major national and international boat shows in the coming months, starting with the Genoa Boat Show.

Bavaria Two Anniversaries

When two big events almost overlap, that's a reason to celebrate these great anniversaries together. Bavaria Yachtshas been successfully building sailing yachts for 45 years and has also been known for motorboats for 25 years. Over 43,000 sailing yachts and motorboats have been delivered by Bavaria Yachts to enthusiastic owners over the years.  New owners who order their new Bavaria  from September onwards can look forward to the exclusive Be Part Of The Story gift from Bavaria Yachts.  The first prototypes of the legendary sailing boat Bavaria 707 were launched in 1978 in the window factory of Bavaria Yachts founder Winfried Herrmann in Giebelstadt. It quickly became clear that yacht building would be more than just a second source of income in the future. Just one year later, Herrmann launched his second sailing boat, the Bavaria 808, laying the foundation for one of the most successful yacht shipyards ever. Almost 160 other sailing yacht models have followed to date.  Just one year after its premiere, the latest BAVARIA C46 is one of the most successful sailing boats from Giebelstadt. Among other things, it won the European Yacht of the Year Award 2024, like its sister Bavaria C42 in 2021 and the Bavaria Cruiser 46 in 2016.  Building on the success of sailing yachts for private owners and the charter market, Herrmann decided at the beginning of the 2000s not only to expand his shipyard into the most modern yacht production facility with 70,000 square meters of production space, but also to conquer the motorboat market. The new label BMB, Bavaria Motor Boats, adorned the first BMB 27 Sport and was celebrated as a revolution. Other Bavaria Motorboat models followed, sometimes as an open or with a hardtop, as a coupe or fly, with inboard or outboard engines, up to the latest, also award-winning, Bavaria SR-Line.  The first 50 new owners who order a new Bavaria from September 2024 at the major trade fairs in Cannes, Southampton, Genoa, Friedrichshafen, La Rochelle or from their local Bavaria Yachts dealer and order one of the attractive equipment packages will also receive the attractive Be Part Of The Story gift from Bavaria Yachts. An exclusive Bavaria Yachts glass set from Silwy Magnetic System. Slipping or falling glasses on board are now a thing of the past. In addition to the high-quality magnet tray, the Be Part Of The Story set includes two long drink and two wine magnet crystal glasses, of course engraved with the Bavaria Yachts logo. All Bavaria Yachts and Silwy fans can also order the set from their Bavaria Yachts dealer.

Princess Yachts was founded in in 1965 in Plymouth, on the edge of the English Channel, where the company still has its home.  Today, a highly skilled team of around 3000 people work across multiple shipyards to produce some of the world’s finest yachts. As they approach their 60th anniversary, ‘Distinction in Detail’ also reflects their determination to continue exceeding their own exacting standards for the next 60 years. Unveiled at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the new positioning was revealed in a film that celebrates the skilled and varied work that goes into creating every Princess yacht. The film shows Princess employees from a wide range of specialities at work, from designers, composite specialists, laminators and wiring loomers to metalworkers, carpenters and assemblers, as well the people who test the finished yachts at sea as part of the meticulous inspection process. “It’s our people who make our yachts so special,” says Simon Clare, Executive Director Brand & Marketing. “So, it made complete sense to put them and the incredible work they do, at the heart of our new campaign. ‘Distinction in Detail’ reminds us that it takes exceptional skill, dedication and care to achieve the exacting standards we insist on at Princess, and the quality and attention to detail that the owners of our yachts expect.” The new brand positioning is accompanied by a new advertising campaign that also celebrates the people behind the yachts.  By showcasing Princess team members from the vast array of skill groups within the build process, it highlights  the company’s true point of difference and underlines the ethos of the brand. A new visual identity echoes the clean, elegant and harmonious design of a Princess yacht, and includes a selection of distinctive graphic shapes inspired by details of the iconic Princess crown logo – creating a brand world drawn from the heart of the brand. The brand positioning, visual identity, film and accompanying advertising campaign were created with custom agency IPG-X. “It’s a joy to work with a company as obsessed with detail as we are,” says Darren Copland, Global Managing Partner at IPG-X. “Together, we created a positioning and identity which centre the qualities of Princess Yachts that their discerning customers value most.”

Princess Promote Circular Economy Collaboration

Princess Yachts, UK’s largest luxury yacht builder, has collaborated with ‘Dart & Grey,’ an emerging fashion brand, creating a circular business model that repurposes surplus materials from the manufacturing sector into luxury garments and accessories.  Megan Trapnell, an Arts University Plymouth graduate and fashion designer, is the visionary behind the brand which has been inspired from a strong commitment to sustainability and passion for high end fashion.  The collaboration between Princess Yachts and Dart & Grey will begin with a pilot project at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival, aiming to create high-end fashion items using surplus materials from the yacht manufacturer. The items made from the sample materials will be included the Princess S80 which is making her World Premiere at the show. Dart & Grey sample pieces including clothing items, as well as travel and handbags will have been created using surplus materials from the new S80.  Laura Parry, Environmental & Compliance Manager at Princess Yachts who has been working closely to the project commented “Princess Yachts are delighted to be working in collaboration with Dart and Gray and Micronomy to develop a high end circular economy textile project to promote sustainability. The company are supporting emerging young talent within the City of Plymouth and in partnership are tackling a growing problem of surplus waste from the manufacturing process. Diverting expensive textiles away from energy from waste (incineration) and handcrafting beautiful fashion items and accessories from the surplus, is an innovative way to showcase sustainability on our luxury yachts, whilst reducing our environmental impact and utilising materials in a resourceful and efficient manner.”

Sanlorenzo Achieves Sea Index Certification

The SEA Index, set up in 2020 by Yacht Club de Monaco and Credit Suisse a UBS Group Company, has become the standard of reference for assessing CO2 emissions of pleasure boats. Its purpose is to support yacht owners keen to be more sustainable and accompany them in their transition towards better practices. Certified by Lloyd’s Register, SEA Index® guarantees ratings accuracy through a rigorous procedure before granting certification. Recently recognised by the Capenergies label, the SEA Index® is also now deployed in 15 harbours and marinas in a triangle between Menton, Saint-Tropez and Bonifacio in Corsica, including YCM Marina and Monaco’s harbours, as well as the Seychelles; Eden Marina and Port Victoria, the Blue Economy Ministry having recently joined the SEA Index® initiative.  Yacht Club de Monaco partner, Sanlorenzo, wanted the carbon intensity analysed of its latest addition, the 50m Steel m/y Almax, previewed at YCM. It is the world’s first superyacht to be fitted with a Reformer Fuel Cell modular system, the technological challenge of integrating it having been developed in collaboration with Siemens Energy. It transforms green methanol into hydrogen then electricity to power the boat’s hospitality equipment without having to store hydrogen onboard. After a detailed study undertaken by the SEA Index® in collaboration with Lloyd’s Register’s recognised technical teams and elements supplied by Sanlorenzo, the boat received official certification.  “The Sanlorenzo 50Steel represents an important step on our path towards a more sustainable yachting industry and embodies the passion for challenges that has always guided us. We are adopting ground-breaking solutions to achieve this objective while maintaining our elegant, comfortable lines. Our 2030 roadmap, which is part of our carbon neutrality strategy, is now taking shape and we are keen to bring our new ambitions to fruition. This revolutionary solution allows the yacht to generate up to 100kW of electricity to power all hospitality services around 85% of the time,” says Massimo Perotti, Chairman and CEO of Sanlorenzo.

Viking Boat Builder Celebrates Diamond Jubilee

Not only Viking’s is celebrating its 60th year of business, but this past Monday its longest-tenured boatbuilder, Rudy Dalinger celebrated his 60th anniversary with the Viking Yacht Company. Now that’s a milestone!  In 1964, the year that Bill and Bob Healey founded Viking, Rudy drove up the long driveway leading to the facility and was hired on the spot making $2.10 an hour. “It was a storage shed,” says Rudy (now Viking’s New Product Development Manager) referring to the plant. “It had nothing but garage doors and half of it was a dirt floor. I was hired as a carpenter, but really, I did whatever had to be done.”  When asked who interviewed him for his position, Rudy says in his thick German accent, “There was no such thing as interviews.” And he chuckles, reminiscing what the facility once was. Rudy remembers Viking before the glamour and prestige, back when the company aspired to be in the same league as Hatteras and Bertram.  “Our reputation wasn’t that good,” says Rudy. “When we went to boat shows, we never wore Viking shirts because we were the laughingstock of the industry. We would check out other boat builders so we could learn from them, but we never said we were from Viking. Today? You are proud!”  Back in the day, the Viking culture was pretty rough and tumble and Rudy wasn’t used to that type of environment. But quickly, Viking Co-founder Bill Healey recognized that Rudy had talent and took him under his wing. “Mr. Healey made this company what it is,” says Rudy. “He was here every day, and I appreciated that. His work ethic impacted the employees because they saw him working hard and putting in long days. We all have a lot of respect for him. He would say, ‘We are a Chevy, but we’re going to work hard, and we’re going to be a Mercedes.’ And we became a Mercedes.”  Even more impressive than his 60 years with the company is the fact that Rudy is one of the most highly respected individuals at Viking. When Lonni Rutt, Vice President of Design and Engineering, needs to institute a change in processes or procedures, he relies on Rudy’s feedback and input from the production line for seamless integration.  “Rudy has probably forgotten more about building boats than most of us will ever learn,” said Lonni. “His willingness, dedication and, at times, stubbornness to explain how and why things need to be done has made me a better engineer. I am lucky and honoured to work with him and know him. I know, without a doubt, we would not be the product or company we are without him.”  Frank Uhl is the Supervisor of the Joiner Shop and Sub Assembly. When asked what it was like when he started in 1980, he says, “If you needed help with something, Rudy was your go-to guy. He was patient and would teach you the proper way to get the job completed. It didn’t matter if it wasn’t within the realm of his job, he’s probably the most knowledgeable guy I’ve ever known."  Back in 1964, there were no computers, emails, CNC routers or cell phones. Everything was done by hand and in person. Although Rudy has adjusted to today’s modern technology and appreciates the speed and efficiencies, he admits, “I never dreamt it would come to this. It’s progress, but the machine only does what someone puts into it. It’s still about the people.”  Reflecting on his 60-year career, Rudy says, “It’s been a blessing. I have been able to contribute and work. Viking has been good to me – and as long as I can contribute, I will continue to work.”  Rudy’s son worked here and now his grandson is here in the IT Department. “There was no such thing as an IT Department back in the day,” says Rudy, laughing.  "I didn’t think Viking was going to be in business for more than a year or two!” says Rudy. “What makes it all worth it is the recognition from customers. It’s not the pay check, it’s the appreciation for what I do and the acceptance from employees and customers – even in my older days. That’s my hall of fame.”

Viking Support to International Game Fish Association

In Viking’s continued support of the International Game Fish Association (IGFA) youth fishing program, “Reel Into Fishing,” we recently hosted student groups from both Ocean and Burlington counties (a total of about 50 kids between the two groups). The youngsters, in grades 5 to 10, got a chance to see the Viking plant in New Gretna, making the quarter-mile walk from one end of the manufacturing facility to the other. They didn’t miss anything, from Fiberglass and the Metal Shop to the Mill and Mechanical. They also visited the Make Ready Dock to see our industry-leading yachts and all their fishing equipment (tuna tubes, live wells, fish boxes and even omni sonar). The IGFA partners with Rutgers, The State University, and 4-H to expose youngsters to fishing and marine conservation, “building the next generation of ethical anglers and fisheries scientists.” This is a program that Viking supports through the William Healey Foundation. Above: The students from the Burlington County program are enamoured with a beautifully finished walnut table in the Joiner Shop, shown by woodworking craftsman Robert Fluehr.

Cranchi Sport Cruiser Burns Down in Mahon Menorca

A fourteen meter Cranchi sport cruiser with four British citizens onboard went ablaze as it was cruising in the Mahon canal, Balearic Island of Menorca on the late afternoon of 29 September.  The Salvamento Maritimo section of Mahon Yacht Club responded to the fire, rescuing the four boaters first, and then fighting and towing the boat to Cala Figuera out of harms way.  Ultimately the sport cruiser sank at 20:00 time in 92 meters of water, with m/v Salvamar Antares collecting the debris.  No one was injured in the fire, with the cause of the fire not being reported.
The Cranchi sport cruiser in this fire is a 47 Mediterranee HT as produced from 2006 to 2010.  Designed by Aldo Cranchi the 47 Mediterranee came out first as an open version in 2005 and then with the HT hard-top coming a year later.  The 47 Mediterranee was introduced as a line up filler, similar but smaller to the 50 Mediterranee with two cabins and a tender garage.

Hurricane Helene 2024

Hurricane Helene was a large, deadly, catastrophic, and fast-moving tropical cyclone that was the strongest on record to strike the Big Bend region of Florida. The eighth named storm, fifth hurricane, and second major hurricane of the 2024 Atlantic hurricane season, Helene developed gradually from a mid-September disturbance in the western Caribbean Sea within a broad area of low pressure known as the Central American gyre. By September 24, the disturbance had consolidated enough to become a tropical storm as it approached the Yucatán Peninsula, receiving the name Helene from the National Hurricane Center. Favourable conditions led to the cyclone's gradual intensification, and it became a hurricane early on September 25. More pronounced and eventually rapid intensification ensued as Helene traversed the Gulf of Mexico the following day, reaching Category 4 intensity on the evening of September 26. Late on September 26, Helene made landfall at peak intensity in the Big Bend region of Florida, near the city of Perry, with maximum sustained winds of 120 knots. Helene would weaken as it moved quickly inland before degenerating to a post-tropical cyclone over Tennessee on September 27. the storm then stalled over the state before dissipating on September 29.  In advance of Helene's expected landfall, the governors of Florida and Georgia declared states of emergency due to the significant impacts expected, including very high storm surge along the coast and hurricane-force gusts as far inland as Atlanta. Helene also caused catastrophic rainfall-triggered flooding, particularly in western North Carolina and eastern Tennessee. Hurricane warnings also extended further inland. As of September 30, a total of 120 deaths have been attributed to Helene.

As boating goes Helene seems more to have affected mostly smallish boats, also because the storm surge which at its peak elevated up to six meters, happened rather in land then by the coastal area.  Above is Maxum 3100 SE which ended aground, with other boats and into a block of of apartments in the big bend region of Florida.
Here is a CandL Marine Corp from Taiwan 38 model from 1981 which ended aground and blocked between trees in Sarasota.

Fire Destroys Multiple Boats in Fiumicino Tiber River Boat Yard

A fire in a boat yard at Col Moschin street by the Tiber river in Fiumicino, Italy, was started on 05:30 of Tuesday 24 September.  The fire was reported to start from the outside of the three thousand square meters boat yard, and then interested a close shed and destroyed about ten boats.  Vigili dell Fuoco from Fiumicino intervened for the fire with three fire fighting squads, two fire-engines, a foam truck, a ladder truck, with local municipal police also intervening at the scene.  Col Moschin street and the Tiber river adjacent to the boat yard was also temporary closed to control the fire.  The blaze was reported fully extinguished at about 18:30 hours. Arpa Lazio and Asl were also summoned to control the risk of pollution and the air quality in the area.  No details were reported how the fire started, beside that it started from a boat outside, with an arson suspect of criminal nature also being considered as a nearby boat yard suffered a similar fate just over four months ago on the thirteen May.  No injuries were reported from the fire.
The boats in this fire are reported to be about ten, with a Salpa 385 Laver, pictured above to the right appearing to be one of the largest involved.  The Salpa 385 Laver was presented in 2004 as flagship model for the Naples builder, with its hull based on the Sonny Levi and Franco Harrauer designed Laver from the eighties.  Produced from 2004 the 385 Laver will evolve into the 395 Laver in 2010, added with a T-top protecting the cockpit deck.

New Model: Azimut Fly 62

Azimut debuted its new innovative Fly 62 model at the 2024 Cannes Yacht Festival.  A replacement of the successful 60 Flybridge, the Fly 62 comes from Alberto Mancini for exterior, Fabio Fantolino for interior, and Francesco Rogantin doing the naval architecture along with Azimut's technical department.  For this new Fly 62 Mancini presents a low profile yacht, similar to the recent Azimut yachts he designed, but with the flybridge upright radar arch and hard-top giving the yacht a contrasted more utilitarian look.  The Azimut Fly 62 distinct feature is the rethinking for the exterior aft deck space, with the optional Beach Cockpit, which opens the transom outward, lowering the sofa in a synchronized movement, eliminating any physical barriers and creating a spacious sunbathing area closer to the water.  This Azimut Fly 62 solution offers a unique connection to the sea for a yacht in this segment and challenges the competition with a different thinking of looking aft rather then to the sides.  For the interior Pierluigi Fontalino presents a light filled and soft coloured palette, with a living on the main deck and three double cabins three head layout below deck. Fantolino presented an aft galley layout, with a dinette to starboard, and L-shaped lounge with opposite lounger further forward and one step up.  For the accommodation lower deck the Fly 62 has a master stateroom at midships with the berth looking to starboard, a forward VIP suite, and a third cabin with twin berths to starboard.  An optional one or two berth crew cabin is located at midships.  The Azimut Fly 62 is standard powered by twin Volvo 800hp with IPS pod drives for estimated top speeds up to thirty knots.

This Maritimo S50 comes as replacement to the S51, a new entry level model to a range of eleven models, three range which today spans up to 23 meters. The S50 continues the down under yacht builder refined, elegant, practical, and luxurious use of space, combined with high-efficiency propulsion and reduced drag hull forms, along with the build quality and blue-water credentials the down-under yacht is known for. The Maritimo S50 Sedan standard accommodation will offer two large cabins including of which is a full beam midships master stateroom with ensuite shower head, and a VIP suite forward. In the S50 everything is planned to be easy from single level floors inside the cabins, with total walkaround access for both cabins. Capacity to sleep up to eight on the S50 is possible if required and optioned accordingly. As any Maritimo safety is paramount with the famous walkaround decks, high sides, and encased, rear facing internal stairs for flybridge access, delivering safe walking both in the marina and at sea. The S50 features Maritimo famous walk-through zone living, with the rear galley a center piece for seamless entertaining from the main Saloon to the upper cockpit, and then all the way to the edge of the expansive swim platform that is virtually at sea level. The S50 larger windows come redesigned with smaller frames and bigger openings, to deliver full engagement to the surroundings, while patented Maritimo hull liners deliver inherent strength in form, and also allow access to the entire beam below decks. In the engine room this means you can access both sides of the twin, straight-six Diesels. The Maritimo S50 is to be standard powered by twin Volvo 800hp engines on line shaft propulsion. The development of the new Maritimo M and S50 began in late 2023, with the designs and specifications shared with loyal owners for input to then further refine the final product offering.

Project: Ferretti 940

During the Cannes 2024 boat show Ferretti Yachts presented the project for an upcoming 940 set to arrive in 2025.  Sporting a design by Filippo Salvetti the 940 comes out as a replacement to the 920 after seven years of production and 36 units delivered.  For this new 940 Salvetti brought in design elements from the 860 which launched in 2022, sleeking in a forward wide body design and a very unobtrusive raised pilot house.  The Ferretti 940 will be a five double guest cabin design; with forward main deck full body owners stateroom, three VIP suits, and a fifth cabin with twin single berths.  To forward of the lower deck will be a crew lobby with two cabins sleeping four, and a small dinette.  The crew area is independent accessed from the port side corridor, which enters you into the galley, then the raised pilot house if you go up, and the crew quarters if going down.  The Ferretti 940 is to be standard powered by twin Man 2000hp with optional 2200hp engines.

New Model: Sunseeker Ocean 156

Sunseeker present the Ocean 156, the second hull and third model of the more volume focused Ocean line of yachts. Boasting a much larger feeling of space than other yachts of its size and with extremely flexible design options, the Ocean 156 is set to be a phenomenon in every ocean across the globe.  With a completely enclosed upper deck, like the Ocean 182 and single helm station, the Ocean 156 leaves ample space on board for multi-purpose use, thanks to maximised internal volume and gross tonnage, especially in her seamless, extended saloon and upper deck area.  The upper deck area has similarities to a Portuguese deck with more space, allowing usable, social areas for seating, sun pads and spa tub options. Throughout, design layouts are completely customisable enabling owners to personalise to their own style and practical needs. This is made more achievable thanks to minimal intrusions such as fixed furniture as well as single-level flooring throughout the majority of space on board.  Step into the main deck saloon and you are met with a 360˚panoramic vista owed to the full height and vertical glazing surround. With a luxury penthouse apartment feel, the area can be customised with multiple arrangements including an open galley and dining aft with bar area forward for an open plan set up. Patio doors are situated port and starboard to connect the outside with the stunning interior and an impressive vertical, glazed, floating staircase sits centrally but is subtle so as not to draw the eye away from the impressive settings. Another option for those who favour more privacy, with crew on board, is a central galley layout with options to enclose at varying levels, separating guests and crew. A large saloon sofa seat and TV sits aft with bar and dining forward of the galley and counter-level worktops.  The Ocean 156 accommodates a master stateroom option on the main deck to benefit owners from the impressive views and foredeck access outside. On the lower deck, the full beam master aft features ample storage, a vanity desk and connecting en-suite with twin basins. In a standard configuration, the lower accommodation comprises of a forward VIP and two guest cabins with an optional sliding berth cabin accommodate additional guests in comfort. There is also option for crew accommodation forward of the engine room with appliance block and worktop space for self-sufficiency. The lower deck once again has a completely level floor between the master and VIP, something that is rare on a yacht of its size and will benefit those on board in the subtlest of ways.  The Sunseeker Ocean 156 is powered by twin Man 1650hp for top speeds up to 25 knots.
