The new big CRN was protagonist of a special baptising at the shipyard head quarters in Ancona. The ceremony was open to all citizens emphasizing the bond between the shipyard and the city. 72 metres long and with its distinctive grey displacement hull, “Clarena 2” is so far the largest leisure yacht built by CRN. Projects: Ocean Alexander 145 Megayacht, Ocean Alexander 125 Megayacht, Ocean Alexander 115 Motoryacht
Ocean Alexander, a yacht builder funded thirty years ago, creates an alliance with Christensen Yachts, the renowned American shipyard specializing solely in the manufacture of Super Yachts from 160 to more than 200 feet, to build the new Ocean Alexander bigger yacht series. Construction will take place in Christensen's Vancouver, Washington yard, lending this US builder long history of quality construction. Ocean Alexander recently expanded its product range to include three Super Yacht projects: 115 Motoryacht, 125 Megayacht, and 145 Megayacht, partnering with acclaimed designer Evan K. Marshall. The 145 Megayacht will be the future flagship of the Taiwan boat builder. Plans and engines for the three decked Super Yacht are not so far available. The exterior lines are similar to the other two smaller models, but the underwater sections are new, being longer by about twenty foot, and having a wider beam of 68 centimetres to the 125.
The 125 Megayacht above is set to continue Ocean Alexander collaboration with Christensen and Evan K. Marshall. The 125 Megayacht is in fact over three metres longer to the similar but smaller 115, and has a wider beam by 46 centimetres. Still many attributes are to be followed with a lower deck featuring four guest cabins, and the owner suites on the main deck. Standard power is from twin Cats C32A 1440hp.
The new 115 Motoryacht again designed by Evan K. Marshall will be a triple deck constructed again by Christensen to ABS MCA certification, and will provide chartering capabilities previously unavailable in yachts smaller than 130 feet. The 115 Motoryacht will feature luxury accommodations that rival larger sized Super Yachts, including a dining table that seats ten and a helm layout created exclusively for Ocean Alexander. The spacious master stateroom will be located on the main deck. Guest accommodations include two VIP cabins with in-line berths and two staterooms with twin berths convertible to queen size. The 115 offers a vast amount of storage for luggage, provisions and other service items, as well as a tender garage and crew quarters for as many as seven. Now finally the Sixty 4 HT has arrived and here PowerYachtBlog shows the project rendering. Named first as Project C-96 the new flagship will be an open hard top boat, projected entirely by Cranchi's own Research Studies and Style Centre. The North Italian builder also constructed a special factory totalling 30.000 square metres all catered for the production of its new big flagship. Like many recent hard top sport yachts the Sixty 4 HT, will have its living on the main deck, which is separated from the aft deck thanks to the patio door.
