New Model: Prestige 60

Announced earlier this year the Prestige 60 was a waited new model from the press, clients and competition alike. The 60 also marks the first model of the re branded Prestige owned by Beneteau Group, who at the start of this year became an independent name separate from Jeanneau. Born as a 58 project, the Prestige 60 now flagship of the French builder is also the presentation of the new Yacht Line, set to give a challenge in fifteen metres plus yachts for design, modern features and a competitive price with a range which in the near future will offer models up to 85 feet. The Prestige 60 is a well made motor yacht offering many of today's yachtsman request of recent innovative design solutions. The main deck has a modern open plan layout with a galley located at the entrance of the saloon serving also the aft cockpit, features an internal and external stair case for the flybridge, a dining area, and saloon settee opposite. Down below in the forward part is the three double guest cabins, all served with en-suites, and having also a spacious full beam mid ship owners staterooms. Aft is a spacious double berth crew cabin. Power comes from twin IPS900 700hp engines which give a max speed of 31 knots, and a cruise of 25 knots. Less impressive considering the IPS propulsion advantage, and the not so heavy 23 ton displacement.
