Flybridge Cruiser Aground in Volga River

A Beneteau flybridge cruiser of about ten meters in length ended aground and then listed to its starboard side, in Togliatti on the Volga river, in Russia on the morning of 29 August. The causes of the accident are unknown. The Volga river is the longest water stream in Europe stretching from Central to Southern Russian and into the Caspian sea.
The Beneteau in this accident is an Antares 30 model produced from 2010 till 2016, to an inhouse design and interior by Sarazin.  The Antares 30 has interiors with two cabins, forward main cabin, second cabin with two bunks to port side, with a living all on the main deck.  The Antares 30 was standard powered by single 370hp engines with line shaft propulsion.  The model was also offered as the Antares 32 with twin 200hp engine installation, weighing about half a ton more, but being practically identical in exterior and interior layout.
