A not attended twelve meter flybridge cruiser ended fire wrecked as it was houseboat docked at Chattanooga Yacht Club in Chickamauga Lake, Hamilton County, Tennessee before 14:30 of Tuesday 24 August 2021. Hamilton County's Office of Emergency Management tended first to the blaze and were then assisted by Sale Creek VFD and Hamilton County Marine Rescue with a fire boat and Chattanooga Fire Department, who controlled the fire, and managed to stop it from spreading to other sheds and nearby boats. No injuries were reported, with the cause of the blaze being under investigation.
