Ten persons were saved as a nineteen meter flybridge yacht went ablaze just one meters offshore to Jesolo in the North-East Adriatic of Italy at 18:20 of Sunday thirty August. The alarm of the yacht was launched by those onboard, with the yacht assisted by the Vigili del Fuoco fire fighters, and Guardia Costiera Coast Guard of Venice. No one was injured in the blaze as the ten boaters were assisted by a nearby boat, with the yacht eventually sinking at around 20:00 hours. The cause of the fire is not reported, with an emergency plan being made to avoid pollution from the wreck.
The yacht in this fire is a Posillipo Technema 58 as designed by Zuccon and produced from 1984 to 1992. The Technema 58 was replaced by the Posillipo Technema 60.
