Two Saved as Classic Sunseeker Partly Sinks in Grado, Italy

Two 65 years old Austrians were saved as a classic nine meter Sunseeker sport cruiser partly sank at San Vito in Grado, North Adriatic side of Italy at around 04:30 morning time of Sunday thirty August.  The couple noticing the boat sinking jumped on the dock and gave the alarm, with the Vigili del Fuoco of Grado attending the sinking, and started an operation of floating the following morning.  The cause of the sinking is not reported with the two Austrians reported to have come aboard the previous day.
The boat in this accident is a Sunseeker 31 Offshore Mk.II as designed by Don Shead and produced from 1984 to 1986.  The 31 Offshore Mk.II was a replacement to the original 31 Offshore and was replaced by the Sunseeker 31 Portofino.
