One Man Suffers Minor Injuries in Boat Fire at Oak Orchard River, Carlton

One man suffered minor injures as a nine meter sport cruiser went ablaze in Oak Orchard river, Orleans County, Carlton, New York before 06:00 morning time of Tuesday eight August.  Sheriff’s Office Marine Patrol Unit responded to the blaze, and removed the boat from its berth towing it near the Orleans County boat launch, as the boat was wrecked but ultimately it did not sink.  With the fire a nearby boat and the dock also sustained damage.  The injured man who is the owned of the boat had minor fire injuries and refused treatment.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.
