Flybridge Yacht Ends Aground in Cape Drepano, Peloponnese Greece

A twenty meter flybridge motor yacht with five people onboard ended aground on the sand bar of Cape Drepano at Achaia, in the north west part of the Peloponnese Greece peninsula near the Gulf of Corinth on Sunday sixteen August.  The yacht was assisted by the Greek Coast Guard, with an operation to remove the yacht currently ongoing but not successful.  The yacht was reported to have ended aground after an error of navigation in rough Force four seas.
The yacht in this accident is a Carnevali 68 as designed by Max Design and produced from 2007.  The 68 was an evolution and replacement to the Carnevali 65.
