Fifty Meter Super Yacht Collides Into Famous Corinth Canal Bank

The 49 meter super yacht Home has collided into the bank of the Corinth Canal, in Greece as it was passing it on the afternoon of Sunday 28 July 2024.  The collision was video shared on the YouTube channel of Michalis Papamanolakis - Corinthian Knowledge channel as the fifty meter super yacht collided on its port side as it was going South East direction, from the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean sea to the Gulf of Corinth in the Ionian Sea.  The cause of the collision are not reported though most probably the captain lost control because of the current and the bank effect which can become rather insidious in the Corinth Channel.  The extent of the damage was not reported though it looked to be only cosmetic, as the yacht was filmed continuing on its way after it stopped for a few seconds.
