An eleven meter sportfish cruiser was saved from a fire offshore to Townsends Inlet, Sea Isle City, New Jersey on the early 02:00 hours of Monday eight July 2024. The sportfish cruiser was assisted by Sea Tow Cape May who shared the story on its Facebook page. Sea Tow extinguished the fire fast, who was reported developing in the engine room, and towed the boat to Canyon Club Marina, in not so idle heavy fog conditions. The cause of the fire was reported to be an exhaust leak, and did do any big damage to the boat.
The boat in this accident is an Ocean Yachts 37 Billfish as produced from 2007 to 2015 in 27 units.
