Sport Cruiser Destroyed by Fire Near Pesaro

 

A sport cruiser of about nine meters in length with three persons onboard went ablaze as it was anchored near Baia Flaminia, to the North of Pesaro at 16:00 hours of Monday 29 July.  The crew of two adults and one child were assisted by a nearby boater first, with the fire fighting Vigili dell Fuoco and Guardia Costiera coming to the scene later to turn off the fire.  The fire was reported to have started from the engine room.  An investigation on the cause of the fire is ongoing.
