Project: Fiart SX4

Fiart present the SX4 project, the second model of the SX line which is to debut later on this year.  Designed by Massimo Simeone the SX4 is based on the Fiart 44, the model which it replaces.  The SX4 features a new extended integrated hard-top and an updated cockpit layout, while an open version without hard-top will also be available.  The interior is now available in two layouts;, with the previous three cabins version added with a two cabins option which features a large midships cabin.  The Fiart SX4 is to be powered by twin Volvo 380hp with IPS propulsion as standard.  Larger Volvo 440 and 480hp engines are available as option.

New Model: Beneteau Swift Trawler 37 Fly

Beneteau present the new Swift Trawler 37 Fly. Designed by Dixon for both naval architecture and line, the Swift Trawler 37 is a replacement to the Swift Trawler 35 after an eight year production run. The Swift Trawler 37 comes with an asymmetric main deck with deep passageway to starboard, while all the living; galley and dinette is concentrated on the cabin of the main deck. The lower deck offers two cabins, master room forward, and guest twin bunk cabin to port side, and shower head to starboard. The Swift Trawler 37 Fly comes with a few options for the flybridge and main deck. The flybridge has the Skylights and Silent solar panels option, while the aft deck has also the Cockpit Sliding Bench option in replacement to the standard open bulkhead. The Beneteau Swift Trawler 37 Fly is powered by a standard single Yanmar 400hp engine, and or optional 440hp with line shaft propulsion.

Ocean Yachts New Web Site

Ocean Yachts presents its new World wide web showroom. Ocean Yachts was founded in 1976 by Jack Leek and a group of previous Pacemaker employees, debuting in 1977 with the 40 Super Sport as designed by David Martin, who will design all Ocean Yachts till 2008.  The 40 Super Sport is an immediate success thanks to the formula of offering a sportfish with luxurious cruiser style interior accommodation.  The 40 Super Sport is followed by the 40+2 Trawler explorer cruiser a year later, showing Ocean Yachts interest to enter the cruiser segment, with the 42 Sunliner arriving in 1981 confirming this theme.  Two more Sunliner models will follow in 1983 and produced till 1986 as the line is replaced by the Motor Yacht series in 1988, which will debut with the 53 Motor Yacht, and is produced till 1999 in a total of five models from 44 to 53 foot.  Ocean Yachts will re-enter the cruising yachting segment with the Odyssey series as produced in the two 65 and 57 models from 2003 to 2009. As big yachts go Ocean Yachts goes above the fifteen meters size as its debut the successful 55 Super Sport, which is produced in 170 hulls in a nine year production run, making it one of the most sold sportfish yachts in its size.  A 63 Super Sport will take the mantle of Ocean Yachts flagship in 1986, superseded in 1993 by the 66 Super Sport, 70 Super Sport in 2000, and the 73 Super Sport in 2005 which is Ocean Yachts largest build to date.  Apart bigger models Ocean Yachts will also make smaller sub ten meter models, like the 32 Super Sport as produced from 1989 to 1992, and the 29 Super Sport its smallest ever made model as produced from 1990 to 1992.  Ocean Yachts has always shown an innovative spirit in its models and design, repeated in 2007 as it debuts the classic game boat sportfish looking 37 Billfish, and in 2014 with the futuristic looking 64 Makaira as designed by custom boat specialist Steve French.  In December 2015 following lack of business Ocean Yachts closes its doors, with the Mullica, New Jersey facility sold to Viking Yachts, and the name and some of the moulds purchased by Dr.Ira Trocki of Egg Harbor Group some months later in 2016, who offered some of the models with little success.  In 2025 Gulf Crosser purchased Ocean Yachts from the Egg Harbor Group with a plan to revamp its boat and yachts offering.  Currently Ocean Yachts offers seven models from 46 to 70 foot separated into three lines; Inboard, Outboard, and Sterndrive with the entry model being the 46 Open and going up to the 70. Ocean Yachts new website takes you around with the following buttons; Inboard, Outboard, Sterndrive, and Contact Us. Ocean Yachts is also on social media with a top right button taking you to its Instagram page.

Project: Van der Valk 30-Meter Project Berlin

Van der Valk presents the thirty meter project Berlin as designed by Guido de Groot. The project began in January 2025 when the owners decided to pursue a custom build to achieve their ideal layout for extended living aboard from April through October. The modern design remains under the 24-metre regulatory threshold of load-line-length, simplifying technical requirements while delivering the space and comfort of what nowadays is called a pocket super yacht. Project Berlin features an asymmetric layout, optimizing its seven metre beam for interior volume. The standout salon boasts large windows measuring nearly three metres long by two metres high that open for ventilation.  Rather than the typical four guest cabins, the yacht offers just two large VIP en-suite staterooms on the lower deck, tailored to the owners’ specific usage. The full-beam master suite on the main deck forward includes similarly impressive opening windows for sea views and fresh air. The custom interior will blend modern style with comfort through a playful aesthetic developed with the owners, who plan to use the yacht as a partial liveaboard rather than for charter or entertaining large groups. The yacht’s beam translates to expansive deck areas, with a sundeck featuring an aft spa pool with wraparound sun-pads, multiple seating and dining areas, plus a substantial outdoor galley with barbecue. The bow deck offers additional seating and sunpad space, reflecting the owners’ emphasis on maximizing both indoor and outdoor living. Staying below 24 metres provides practical advantages, including simplified technical installations and the ability to incorporate a tender garage for a four meter jet-diesel tender, without compromising engine room access. Despite relaxed crew regulations at this length, the owners prioritized exceptional crew welfare with three cabins, a large crew mess, and a dedicated laundry; amenities rarely found even on larger yachts. Project Berlin will feature a semi-displacement hard chine hull giving a draft of just two meters, and powered by twin MTU 1952hp will deliver a top speed of 25 knots and a twenty-knot cruise. Dual Console Cruiser Ends Aground in Marco Island, Florida

A ten meter dual console cruiser with five persons onboard ended aground near Marco Island, Florida on the evening of Thursday sixteen April.  TowBoatUS Naples and Marco Island who shared the story on its Facebook page assisted the boat and put into deep water.  The boat ended aground cause of a rather fast outgoing low tide.  The boat is reported to have sustained no damage.
The boat in this accident is a Southport 33DC as designed by C Raymond Hunt and produced since 2018.  Southport Boats was founded 2003 in North Carolina, debuting with the 28 model in 2005.

New Model: Horizon ES88

Horizon Yachts is proud to announce the global debut of the brand-new ES88, christened KEΦI, at the recently concluded 2026 Horizon Open House. Featuring a striking, sporty exterior styling penned by internationally renowned designer Cor D. Rover, this exceptional yacht was commissioned by an experienced Australian owner, marking their sixth Horizon build. This first ES88 was a full custom order, though Horizon is now advertising it on its web-site trying to get another build rolling on.  The ES88 perfectly encapsulates a dynamic and contemporary aesthetic, showcasing an efficient interior, with an enclosed living area on the main deck, and four suites on the lower deck which include a master stateroom at midship which features a walk-in ward-robe to starboard looking aft, and a private shower head to port side. The Horizon ES88 is powered by twin MAN 2000hp engines, with performance data not yet announced.

Project: Rio Sport Coupe 50

Rio present the project of the Sport Coupe 50. Designed by Rio long standing designer Marino Alfani the Sport Coupe 50 extends Rio's Sport Coupe line for a fifteen meter sport yacht which sits in between the just presented Parana 40 and its current Sport Coupe 58 flagship. The Rio Sport Coupe 50 will feature a triple cabins lower deck, with a midships owners stateroom, a forward VIP, and a third cabin with bunk berths. The third cabin can also be fitted as a crew cabin with separate entrance and private bathroom. The living is all on the main deck, with a fully enclosed hard-top with full opening patio door. Of particular interest in the Sport Coupe 50 is the solution used on the exterior deck, offering a hybrid walkaround and a raised bulwark with side decks, designed to ensure safety and ease of movement on board. The Rio Sport Coupe 50 is to be powered by twin Cummins 600hp and or optional 715hp engines with line shaft propulsion for top speeds up to 35 knots.

New Model: Fairline Targa 47 Open

Fairline present the new Targa 47 Open, a soft evolution of the Targa 45 which arrived in 2018.  For many the Targa 47 is the famous and still appreciated first generation as produced from 2005 to 2010 in two hundred units.  The new Fariline Targa 47 versus the Targa 45 is the extended bathing platform, although there is soft differences in other areas.  The Targa 47 Open is powered by twin Volvo 480hp with IPS pod drives for top speeds up to 32 knots.  A Fairline Targa 47 GT with enclosed patio door main deck has just been completed as we speak.

Project: Solace 42CS

Solace present the 42CS project, its new upcoming flagship and a replacement to the 41CS produced since Summer 2020.  The 42CS redefines the Solace flagship, offering more guests the ability to experience the helm perspective while escaping the elements. A difference from the 41CS and the only center console in the twelve meter size is the dual-row seating, covered with the aft cockpit bulkhead and opening glass, which reduces noise and wind for a more comfortable and quiet experience, which equals to more shade paired with more space behind the windshield for seating makes the 42CS a standout model. The Solace 42CS cabin with side port side entrance offers a sofa convertible to a double berth, separate wet head, and small galley looking aft.  The Solace 42CS is powered by quadruple 400hp up 450hp outboards.

New Model: Formula 360 Crossover Bowrider

A new generation of Formula dayboats has arrived with the debut of the new 360 Crossover Bowrider. From the stepped FAS3Tech hull to the stylish glass-sunroof hardtop the 360 Crossover Bowrider brings a fresh innovative choice for day boaters. Over ten meters long the 360 Crossover Bowrider is a replacement to the since 2013 produced 350 Crossover Bowrider and heralds the arrival of new chief designer Michael Young.  A John Adams-mentored prodigy, Young takes over the since 1971 Adams design direction. True to its Formula Crossover Bowrider lineage, the 360 boasts an open bow with a single-level, flush cockpit and a true stand-up cabin with overnight accommodation for two and a spacious head compartment. The triple helm features sit/stand/lean command seating at the operator-friendly dash with a layout that maximizes space, comfort and style, and features dual multi function displays. The 360 Crossover Bowrider offers stem to stern entertainment areas with twin dinette to fore deck and in midships, aft sun-pad and a summer galley.
