Yacht Ablaze at Marina D'Arechi in Salerno, Italy

A not attended seventeen meter flybridge yacht went ablaze at Marina d'Arechi in Salerno, Italy at around 21:00 of Friday 24 April.  The marina staff tended to the fire, and were immediately assisted by Vigili del Fuoco fire fighters of Salerno, with the operation to put off the blaze taking the whole night.  Ultimately the blaze was stopped and controlled to this single yacht.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The yacht in this fire is Conam 60 Wide Body as designed by Giuseppe Cimino and produced from 2003 to 2010.  The 60 Wide Body was a replacement to the 54 Chorum, and was not replaced as Conam closed its doors in 2010.
