Project: Sialia 80 Explorer

Developed in collaboration with Dutch designer and naval architect Vripack, Sialia Yachts is proud to introduce the 80 Explorer to its product line. The 80 Explorer presents itself as Sialia's most advanced and largest yacht to date, promising electric cruising with all the autonomy needed to travel the world in ultimate tranquillity and safety.  Built entirely in high-grade marine-type aluminium, with an overall length of over 26 meters, the Sialia 80 Explorer can accommodate up to eight guests passengers in four guest cabins, plus four crew in two crew cabins. The Sialia 80 Explorer provides superyacht comfort during navigation and features a state-of-the-art AMPROS propulsion system tailored for luxury electric yachts.  Vripack, known for his cutting-edge naval architecture, brought his expertise to ensure that the unit embodies both functional innovation and aesthetics. New Model: Steeler Ocean Explorer 22M

Sanlorenzo Super Yacht Collides in Moored Boats in Amalfi

A 35 meter Sanlorenzo super yacht soft collided in a couple of moored sport cruisers and yachts during a mooring operation in Amalfi Marina, Italy on the afternoon of Wednesday 21 May. Immediate the help of the mooring staff of Amalfi marina who assisted the yacht with the two ribs. According to the local Amalfi news outlet il Vescovado the yacht lost power to one of its engines during mooring manoeuvring operation. No one was injured in the collision, as the yacht was later guided to its berth.
The Sanlorenzo in this collision is an SD118 as designed by Zuccon and produced since 2021 to date in 22 units.  The Sanlorenzo SD118 came out as a replacement to the Paszkowski designed SD112.  The two boats which the Sanlorenzo collided into were a Conam 52 Chrono and a Gianetti 48 HT.

Project: Riviera 72 Sports Motor Yacht Series II

First launched in 2018, Riviera’s 72 Sports Motor Yacht answered the demand for a luxurious, long-range motor yacht that excelled in all water sports. New Model: Henriques 35 Express Hardtop

The key difference in the 35 Express Hardtop lies in the hardtop enclosure, which features full front glass for enhanced visibility and weather protection, plus a removable back canvas enclosure for adaptable comfort in all conditions. Hand-laid fiberglass construction, twin diesel power, a generator, air-conditioning, and an extensive list of standard features make the Henriques 35 Express Hardtop ready for extended offshore action. The spacious nine squared meters cockpit includes two oversized in-deck fish boxes, a walk-through transom door, and abundant tackle and rod storage. Project: Windy SR40

Windy present the project of the SR40, as designed by Espen Oino for exterior and naval architecture, with interior by Design Unlimited.  The SR40 is the third model of Windy's SR Sports Line of walk around center consoles sport cruisers, but is also the Norwegian first boat with drop down space expanding bulkheads, and is available in both outboard or inboard power with stern drive propulsion.  The Windy SR40 offers a lower deck accommodation with sleeping for two thanks to a convertible V-shaped sofa, and a shower head to starboard.  As any walk around center console the SR40 focus is all about its exterior deck spaces, with this having the standard European layout which start with a central aft sun-pad with an integrated bench settee forward which can be swivelled forward to expand the sunpad or moved back to work as a sette.  Further forward and under the hard-top is an L-shaped dinette to starboard with sofa opposite, offset central helm station with dual seat to starboard and single passenger seat, and a sun-pad on the fore-deck.  The Windy SR40 is powered by twin Volvo 440hp with stern drive propulsion for top speeds up to 42 knots. Want more speed the SR40 is also available with Mercury outboard petrol gas engines of triple 400hp or twin 600hp for speeds up to fifty knots.

Sunseeker Yacht Goes Ablaze at Miami Beach Marina

An unattended Sunseeker flybridge yacht of sixteen meters in length went ablaze as it was berthed at Miami Beach Marina, Florida on the afternoon of Saturday seventeen May.  The yacht was reported with no one onboard, when smoke was seen coming out of the yacht, as Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and City of Miami Fire came to the scene to control the fire.  Ultimately the fire was controlled and no one was injured.  The fire cause was not reported but a video on Flagship Towing Facebook page, shows that the blaze started from the electrical area in the engine room.
The Sunseeker in this fire is a second generation Manhattan 52 as designed in house and produced from 2016 to 2020 in 131 units.  The Manhattan 52 replaced the first generation Manhattan 55, with the model evolving into a second generation Manhattan 55 with some subtle changes.

Anvera New Web Site

 
Anvera presents its new web site.  Anvera was founded in 2015 by Giancarlo Galeone, Gilberto Grassi, and Luca Ferrari.  The boating roots though of the three founders starts much before when in 1991 they join Ferretti, forming part of the Italian name offshore racing team which will win the Class One offshore World championship in 1994 and 1997, and European title in 1995 and 1997.  With this the trio will be part of the Ferretti Engineering department, and when Ferretti Group arrived in 1998 become also part of the management team, of which they will be part till 2012.  In 2002 the trio founds LG Srl a company specialized in high end composites; like Aramid, carbon fibre, and Kevlar, and is to be the mother company of Anvera.  In the fall of 2015 Anvera announces itself presenting the first 55 project as designed by Aldo Drudi and Centrostile design and fully build in carbon fibre, which will launch in mid 2016.  The full carbon fibre build is used on all subsequent Anvera models, with the 55 followed by the 48 in 2019, and the 42 in 2021.  Anvera has also in 2019 presented the experimental Anvera Elab 9.93 meters speed boat with TecnoElettra, all carbon fibre build, full electric power and able to reach top speeds up to 46 knots, making it the fastest electric boat in that time.  Currently Anvera offers five models from the twelve meter 42 Speedster to the upcoming twenty meter 200s Racing flagship.  Anvera new web site is available in Italian and English language and takes you around with the following buttons; Anvera Style, Models, Anvera Chase Boat, Anvera Experience, Anvera4Future, and Contacts.  Anvera is also on social media with right top buttons taking you to its Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, YouTube, and Sportify pages.

Sport Cruiser Ends on Reef in Procida Island

A sport cruiser of thirteen meters in length ended on top of the reef in Pozzovecchio to the North West side of the Phlegraean Island of Procida, on Saturday seventeen May.  No one was injured in this reef impact, with the cause of the accident reported to be an error of navigation.  The sport cruiser is reported to have sustained damage and its hull breached having water coming through with the collision.  A salvage operation was being organized for the following Monday.
The sport cruiser in this collision is Gagliotta 44 Fisherman as designed by Stefano Mango and produced since 2006.  The 44 Fisherman was a replacement to the Gagliotta Camaro 43, and was an extension of the sport fisherman inspired looking line which debuted with the 34 Gagliardo in 1999.

Turkish Gullet Rams Mangusta Yacht in Gocek Turkey

A Turkish gullet of about twenty meters in length has been filmed as its collided into the port upper ship side of the moored 32 meter Mangusta m/y Silence III in Gocek marina, Turkey, in a video shared on social media hub Instagram the Saturday seventeen May by Fethiyenin50Tonu.  With the impact the Mangusta yacht sustained important damage to its railing, while the Turkish gullet had damage to its bowsprit.  It is not understood if the gullet had some technical problems or if it was a navigational error.  No one was injured in the collision, with the Turkish gullet looking to have five persons onboard, and one person probably a crew seen onboard the Mangusta super sport yacht at the time of the collision.
M/y Silence III is a 2004 Overmarine Mangusta 107 as designed by Stefano Righini and produced from 1998 till 2005 in seven units.  When debuting in 1998 the Mangusta 107 was not only Overmarine flagship but also the largest super sport yacht in the World, for a model which was an evolutive length extended Mangusta 105.
