Projects: Maiora M|38, Maiora Supernova 50, Maiora M|53

For the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival, Maiora presented itself with three projects looking into the future; which span from 36 to 53 meters.  With these new projects Maiora starts new designed collaborations, Luca Dini is responsible for the Supernova 50, with the new M53 flagship is to feature a collaboration with Tommaso Spadolini collaborating with Elie Saab, who designed the Exuma 42.  The Maiora 50 Supernova and M53 apart expanding the size to new larger models, also feature the entrance of the Viareggio yacht builder into steel yacht construction.  Maiora has been a composite builder for most of its life, although its previous ownership under Fipa did offer steel construction with the CBI Navi brand.  The M|38 pictured above is a further evolution of the M|36 project which was announced in early 2025. Developed in collaboration with Quartostile for the exterior design and by the Maiora Style Office, together with ACUBE Designer for the interiors, this 37-metre yacht represents the fullest expression of the design language introduced with the M Collection

The Maiora Supernova 50 is designed by Tommaso Spadolini and Elie Saab, whose combined vision shapes the yacht’s proportions, volumes, silhouette and internal space planning. At fifty meters in length, and build of steel hull and aluminium superstructure, and a gross tonnage below 500 GT, the Supernova 50 is presented in a six-cabin configuration: the owner’s suite on the Owner’s Deck and five guest cabins, two of them true suites on the main deck, one extending to approximately thirty square meters and each with a private terrace of, extending to guests some of the privileges normally reserved for the owner.  The Supernova 50 is currently under construction and set to launched in 2028.

To be built in steel and aluminium with a length of 53 metres and a gross tonnage of under five hundred Gross Tonnage, the M|53 is designed by Luca Dini, a long standing name in expressing Italian design, and famous for his clean and timeless lines.  The Maiora M53 is defined by expansive glazed surfaces, balanced volumes and a strong dialogue with the surrounding landscape. The yacht’s architecture dissolves the traditional boundaries between interior and exterior, transforming each deck into a succession of open, light-filled spaces deeply connected to the sea.
