Sunseeker Yacht Goes Ablaze at Miami Beach Marina

An unattended Sunseeker flybridge yacht of sixteen meters in length went ablaze as it was berthed at Miami Beach Marina, Florida on the afternoon of Saturday seventeen May.  The yacht was reported with no one onboard, when smoke was seen coming out of the yacht, as Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and City of Miami Fire came to the scene to control the fire.  Ultimately the fire was controlled and no one was injured.  The fire cause was not reported but a video on Flagship Towing Facebook page, shows that the blaze started from the electrical area in the engine room.
The Sunseeker in this fire is a second generation Manhattan 52 as designed in house and produced from 2016 to 2020 in 131 units.  The Manhattan 52 replaced the first generation Manhattan 55, with the model evolving into a second generation Manhattan 55 with some subtle changes.
