New Model: Riviera 5800 Sport Yacht

Australia’s Riviera, has launched its revolutionary new 5800 Sport Yacht in preparation for her official unveiling at the 2009 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show. The new 5800 Sport Yacht, has many interesting luxury features like a three or four cabin option including full beam master stateroom with midships king size bed, option of a galley in the saloon or below decks, an expansive cockpit with large dining table, and a garage that can accommodate a 3.2 metre tender. There is even the option of crew quarters or a large storage space forward of the engine room. Further to the recent bad news surrounding Riviera, CEO John Anderson and Deloitte Receiver Chris Campbell declared business as usual and all deposits on new new boats will be secured. Receivers also backed the show display and an exciting new product line to be announced at the Show. The 5800 Sport Yacht will be the centrepiece of the largest on-water display at the Show, covering nearly 4,000 square metres. The 5800 Sport Yacht design further expands the indoor-outdoor character and sense of light and space introduced on the first award-winning 3600 Sport Yacht, carried on to the 4700SY and 4400SY. The greater volume has allowed designers to take both exterior lines and internal design to a new level of sophistication to create even more visual appeal. Standard power is triple Volvo 435hp engines, the renowned Swedish builder forward facing duo propeller IPS pod drives giving better efficiency and easy to use manoeuvring thanks to the joystick. With a fuel capacity of 2,650 litres, the efficient drive system helps provide a long cruising range for this boat of about 450 nautical miles at 22knots.
