Three Boats Wrecked by Fire at Jug Creek in Bokeelia, Florida

Three boats; a thirteen meter flybridge cruiser and two pontoon boats which were tied to each other but not attended at Jug Creek, in Bokeelia, Lee Country, Florida ended wrecked by a fire which started at 15:45 of Friday first May.  Matlacha/Pine Island Fire Control responded to the blaze first, and were later assisted by Useppa, Boca Grande, Cape Coral Fire departments and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.  No injuries are reported from the fire, with the cause of the blaze being under investigation.

The flybridge cruiser in this fire is a Meridian 459 Cockpit Motor Yacht as produced from 2004 to 2008.  The 459 Cockpit Motor Yacht was an extended cockpit version of the Meridian 408 Motor Yacht introduced the previous year.
