An eight meter sport cruiser with four persons onboard partly sank at the Black Point Marina boat ramp in Florida on the evening of Sunday 26 April. Alfred Montaner documented the event on his YouTube channel and the Chit Show he transmits live on the weekend from Black Point. The boat is filmed coming and running low in the water at Black Point, as it positions by the boat ramp, that is until SeaTow comes to the assistance. The boat is then saved after some hours of water pumping. No one was injured in the accident as the cause of the part-sinking are not reported.
The boat in this accident is a Robalo 2640 Walkaround as produced from 1998 to 2001. The 2640 Walkaround was a replacement to the 2660 Cuddy, and was replaced by the Robalo 265 Walkaround.
