The latest addition to the Rodman Spirit range is the 42 Coupé, a versatile fully enclosed sport cruiser based on the 42 platform presented with the Flybridge version in 2012. As at today the Rodman 42 is still the flagship model of the Spirit range which debuted in 2010 with the 31. The Rodman Spirit 42 Coupe is designed for a the customer who wants a fully enclosed hard top sport cruiser with a sliding electrical roof, and a more sporty profile exterior. With this new Spirit 42 Coupe, Rodman also introduced larger hull side windows which also feature integrated opening portholes, providing additional brightness in the lower deck cabin area. The Rodman Spirit 42 Coupe offers as the style outside offers a traditional layout with two cabins below deck, master cabin forward, and lower deck galley located to port side. The main deck offers a C-shaped dinette to port side, with an entertainment unit opposite and helm station to starboard. The Rodman Spirit 42 Coupe is powered by standard Volvo 340hp or optional twin 380hp both with IPS pod propulsion. Top speed is not communicated but the 42 Flybridge has a thirty knots performance from twin Volvo 300hp, so expect numbers to be just above that number with the standard engines.
