In the fall of 2025 SAY Carbon Yachts from Germany unveiled the 42 Sport project. The 42 Sport is based on the standard 42 which debuted in 2022, but features a totally new deck transforming it into a walk-around sport cruiser. With this walk-around layout the SAY 42 Sport expands the exterior areas from fore to stem, adding a large U-shaped lounge forward of the main deck. But the SAY 42 Sport also brings a larger T-Top, now integrated with the windshield, while the center console is now a three seater versus the two seat of the 42. The trade-off for all this is the that bit smaller cabin for the SAY 42 Sport, similar and offering the same double berth and a shower head to starboard, but with a bit less length and beam. The SAY Carbon Yachts 42 Sport is powered by twin Volvo D4 320hp diesels, and or petrol gas 430hp, both of which with stern drive propulsion.

New Model: Picchiotti Gentleman 24
The Gentleman 24 is the first model of the renewed Picchiotti line launched under The Italian Sea Group ownership. Presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025, she represents the beginning of a new era for Picchiotti, realised with Luca Dini who designed both exterior and interiors. For those who think they have seen this yacht before, you are not wrong as this Luca Dini design, albeit a bit different was first announced as the Cantieri di Pisa Kitalpha 22 project in 2016 which was never made, but Codecasa takes the Luca Dini designs and in 2023 launch the similar but Kitalpha larger Classic Yacht 24, and then again launch the larger Classic 110 earlier last year, which looks to be the Picchiotti Gentleman 33 project. Picchiotti has also a project for a larger Gentleman 44, which will complete the Gentleman three model classic yacht fleet from 24 to 44 meters in length. Nonetheless this is a valid project, but who is making it gets a little confusing, although at this moment I imagine that The Italian Sea Group have bought the rights of the designs from Luca Dini. The Gentleman 24 is offered in four cabins, though the first hull features a three cabins layout, with two crew cabins. The Picchiotti 24 Gentleman is powered by twin MAN 1300hp for speeds up to nineteen knots, a cruise of sixteen, and a nine knots easy going giving a 1,800 nautical miles long range. Engines up to 1550hp for speeds over twenty knots are available. As competition goes the Picchiotti Gentleman 24 is a niche product and quite unique, with the 2022 Magnolia 24m being a different but still classic looking alternative.
