A nine meter sport cruiser titled Oliver Two with eight persons onboard ended aground in Cala Sardinera de Xabia, to the North of Alicante on 05:30 morning of 23 August, 2023. The nine meter sport cruiser is reported to have suffered a hull breach in the collision, with the Salvamento Marítimo vessel Salvamar Diphda, making a temporary patch, and then towing the vessel. None of the eight occupants on the sport cruiser were injured in the collision and grounding with Valencia Maritime Rescue Center coordinating the rescue operation.
Oliver Two the sport cruiser in this grounding is a Doral 300 SC as produced in the mid nineties. The 300 SC was replaced by the 300 SE recognizable by the integrated radar arch.
