When Uniesse present the project of the Exuma 6 excitement is huge cause this project is an evolution of the 57 a favorite sport yacht here at PowerYacht presented in the fall of 1997 in open version, then in 2004 with the hard-top and produced till 2014. The Exuma HTC6 is a hard-top-coupe sport yacht of eighteen meters in length, and like the Exuma 5 is a further development of the successful 48, the Exuma 6 is an evolution of the 1997 presented 57 model which was the other success of the North Italian boat builder in the first decade of the 21st century. Apart the subtle design changes outside like the window glazing serving all the cabin area, and renewed evolved hard-top look, there is other practical differences; the main deck is fully enclosed with a patio door, aft cockpit layout now features two L-shaped settees and a central entrance versus the aft bench settee and starboard passageway, and the bathing platform is now an up and down easy tender drop and lift. The Uniesse Exuma 6 will offer a three cabins six berths lower deck layout, and while the layout is similar to that of the 57, the forward master cabin has been extended in length and features a large ensuite bathroom to starboard. The new layout in the Exuma 6 eliminates the lower saloon, with the galley moving to port side from starboard, and also the single berth crew cabin located forward. The Uniesse Exuma HTC6 is standard powered by twin Man 800hp with line shaft propulsion. A buyer will have the choice of five other optional engines up to twin Man 1300hp with shafts, and Volvo 900 or 1000hp with IPS pod drives. Top speeds are estimated at 35 knots with the standard engines and up to 43 knots with the large engine option.

New Model: Uniesse Exuma HTC5
When speaking of the just launched Uniesse Exuma HTC5 we have to look back at the past. Uniesse always got me excited, for two reasons, because it managed to marry a sportfishing design with that of the Mediterranean cruiser in looks and purpose. The Uniesse 48 and 57 Opens, launched in 96 and 97 respectively married this concept to perfection, and where a huge success from the end nineties till the first decade of the first millennium for the North Italian boat builder. The Uniesse Exuma Hard-Top Coupe HTC5 is the evolution of the 48, re-imagined for the future. We have two important changes in the first HTC5 which launched this Summer, and that is a fully enclosed hard-top with patio door, and the profile window on the hull, stretching the whole cabin area, with added port holes on the fore deck. The interior of the Exuma HTC5 is a two cabin two heads layout with forward owners stateroom, and a guest cabin with two in line berths to port side. To starboard is a galley and an L-shaped dinette in standard version, with an option existing to have a large gourmet size kitchen. The Uniesse Exuma HTC5 is available in five engine choices from Cummins 600hp up to Man 800hp, with standard propulsion being line shaft and IPS pod drives coming with the Volvo engines. Hull one of the Exuma HTC5 is currently on its way to the USA and should be presented Covid-19 permitting at the 2020 Fort Lauderdale boat show at the end of October. The Exuma HTC5 is Uniesse second new model after the company launched the SS 6, presented as 56 SS two years ago in the Summer of 2018.

New Model: Uniesse 56 SS
Uniesse is back and presents the first model of the new management, enters the 56 SS. A development of the 55 Sport which launched in 2009, the 56 SS adds further window glazing and reinvents the layout of the lower deck. Versus the 55 Sport the new lower deck plan changes the layout, and from a traditional forward owners cabin goes to a midships master stateroom, VIP suite forward, and a twin berth guest cabin to port side. The galley in this new plan is also reinvented for a more spacious C-shaped layout to starboard. The Uniesse 56 SS also adds propulsion choices, with previous options of line shaft and surface drives added with Volvo's forward looking IPS pod drives. Hull one of the Uniesse 56 SS was equipped with twin Volvo 1000hp and IPS forward looking dual propeller pod drives and reached max speeds of 42 knots in its first sea trials. Project: Uniesse 67 MY
Uniesse is in growing mode and since the new owners have restarted production with a 50 Exuma and 56 SS currently under construction, the Italian build American owned boat builder has been very active on the project front presenting five lines and various model from 44 to 125 feet. The 67 MY project comes into the important twenty meter size, into Uniesse six model Motor Yacht range. Some history here, Uniesse launched the MY line when it presented its 70 flagship in the Genoa boat show of year 2000. Before that Uniesse was the sportfisherman looking luxurious cruiser interior boat, couple to a solid construction and very good seakeeping hull designed in the USA. The 70 flagship which in hull two becomes the 72 was soon followed by the good selling 55 which will become the 58 with full beam owners cabin. The Uniesse 67 MY will be a three cabin motor yacht, with two layout choices for both the flybridge and the main deck. This last revolving around the choice of a central or an astern galley. A two berth crew cabin will be available aft. Power choices are not yet announced but the technical plans on the website do show the 67 MY to be a well balanced motor yacht with traditional straight line shaft propulsion.

Project: Uniesse 105 SY RPH
Uniesse continues to show its resolute on the project front, having in recent weeks presented another model for its SY super yacht range with the 105 RPH. The Uniesse 105 SY RPH project is inline with recent trends in its 31 meter size and offers a semi wide body main deck and an integrated raised pilot house design. Accommodation will offer a five cabin interior including an owners stateroom on the main deck with a lot of space thanks to the semi wide body, and four spacious suites on the lower deck. Crew accommodation is for five persons including a captains cabin with en-suite shower head, and a lobby. The stern layout offers also a beach club with a tender garage in between this area and the engine room.

Project: Uniesse 65 SS
Uniesse continue to present more project models, and now show the first renderings for a new 65 SS model. The Uniesse 65 SS is part of the four model SS sport yacht series which starts at 56 feet and go up to 90 feet. The 65 SS is a replacement of the 65 Sport model, with a lot of technical details, as hull design possibly taken from the twenty meter sport yacht. This is not a bad thing considering Uniesse had always build boat with a very good hull design and balance, and optimum construction. At this stage we cannot wait till some of these new Uniesse models currently become reality.

Project: Uniesse 60 MY
Uniesse continues to present future projects aimed to make it the name for your motor yacht to be build. Here Uniesse is showing some preliminary details about its 60 Motor Yacht model, one of six models part of this flybridge range which will start at 55 and go up to 85 feet. A flybridge motor yacht model, the 60 MY will challenge in the competitive eighteen meter segment. The Uniesse 60 MY presents itself as a conservative exterior looking flybridge motor yacht with a spacious three double guest cabin three bathroom accommodation layout. A crew cabin with twin bunk berths is to be located aft. Another interesting design feature for the Uniesse 60 MY will be the single floor main deck area. No power or performance details are advised for the Uniesse 60 MY, what we know so far from the technical plans is that it will be direct shaft propulsion.

Project: Uniesse 125 Tri Deck
Uniesse continues in its pursuit in exciting its fans and boaters alike with an endless list of new projects coming out from the technical office of the Italian build American owned name. The Uniesse 125 Tri Deck is the latest to come from the drawing board what is a flagship largest project to date. As the model name says the 125 is a triple deck super yacht and will also feature a semi wide body design for the main deck, this portion usually reserved to a spacious owners stateroom. The second deck which also accommodates the pilothouse will feature a Portuguese style forward balcony. It will be interesting to see if Uniesse will produce this project or any other of the three projects above the 24 meter size it presented in recent years, with its largest ever build still being the 75 HT model it launched in the end of 2007.

Project: Uniesse 50 Exuma
The relaunch at Uniesse continues and here the Italian build American owned builder presents its second new project, which is a re-edition for one of its most popular models from the end nineties up until 2010. The 50 Exuma is in-fact a new model based for most of its parts on the successful and widely admired 48 Open model which gave Uniesse so much success in its production period. The 50 Exuma will sport a new hard top, new side window serving the whole cabin area, and an IPS pod propulsion. The Uniesse 50 Exuma will feature an interior with two cabins, two heads, a galley and an L-shaped dinette. It is interesting to note that although the 50 Exuma will be powered by IPS pod drives the engines will still be located centrally in order to offer the correct center of gravity.

Project: Uniesse 56 SS
Having been bought out in 2017 by an American investor and its long standing USA dealer, Uniesse will make the 2018 year as that of executing its plans and present new models to its customers. Here we have the project for the Uniesse 56 SS, a replacement for the 55 Sport which was one of the latest commercial successes of the Italian boat builder between 2010 and 2012. This project of the new 56 SS takes a lot from the 55 Sport it replaces being very similar outside for the exception of the new hull side window. The interior of the 56 SS is though vastly changed with the lower deck now moving the owners stateroom to a full beam midships layout from the previous full beam forward; with the other cabins being a VIP forward, and a twin berth cabin to port side. The lower deck has also now a spacious C-shaped galley to starboard. Engine and propulsion the Uniesse 56 SS follows recent trend to be powered by Volvo and IPS pod drives versus the Man engines and shaft or surface drives propulsion choice of the 55.

Uniesse New Web Site
Italian builder Uniesse updates its website to a new platform, which coincides with a new US ownership for the brand. Founded in 1990 by the Scaburri brothers Giuseppe and Danilo in Bergamo, they started by building first the Fly line, and later on in 1996 it presented the Open range with the 48 model, this last proving a succesful decision over the years. Come the start of the new millennium Uniesse ventures into more Italian European looks, with the presentation of the 72 MY in the year 2000, which is followed by a 55 MY and a 54 Sport in a couple of years enlarging the modern looking family. All Uniesse models have been designed by Fred Hudson who gave a superior hull shape and a unique combination of sportfish looks and an Italian cruise touch to the lines and interior of the first generation models. In July 2017 Uniesse was purchased by SMB Investor David Schwedel and Rafael Barca, this last has been with the company since 1994 introducing the brand in the USA and representing it since then. Uniesse offers fifteen models in four different lines: Motor Yacht, Exuma, HT, and Sport. The line currently starts with the 49 Exuma and goes up to the 115 Motor Yacht. Of the fifteen models most are in project stages with expected updates to previous successful models of the range, and others which are completely new. New Model: Uniesse 49 Open
It is always a challenge for a boat builder to re-invent or replace a successful model in its line up which has been long standing for over a decade. This is the case for this new Uniesse 49 Open, which in reality does not replace but updates the appreciated, respected and the since its launch in 1996 has been called the timeless 48. The 49 is in nearly all details the same sport cruiser, inside and outside layout, exterior line giving a tribute to the Carolina sportfishers as designed by Fred Hudson nearly two decades ago. And really why should they change much, the 48 Open was as close to perfection you can get in superb US European style mix, being its sea keeping quality as are its construction standards, as its well appointed interior which offers good accommodation for a sport cruiser measuring fifteen meters. But look skin deep and the Uniesse 49 Open show its new elements; smaller engine power with more speed on tap thanks to ZF Zeus propulsion, an added comfort to its guests aft with an up and down bathing platform, and legal change thanks to less length on ISO rules. Uniesse has always been a conservative builder, and with the 49 Open, it shows that it still has that important spirit at heart. Surely the 49 Open updates the 48 with the important propulsion change the ZF Zeus pod drives, giving a more spirit lively handling as well as better economy at the pump. This reduces engine horse power needs from 715 to 600hp while still reaching a top speed of 38 knots, important to note plus two nautical miles per hour versus the standard shaft choice power. For those still looking for a traditional line shaft set up Uniesse still offers the 49 Open with this set up, from a standard Cummins 715hp or optional MAN 800hp units. The length change marks also a significant change to the Uniesse 49 Open as with this new dimensions the 49 Open comes under the fourteen meter tax rules as amended in Italy past June. Yes the Uniesse 49 Open does not replace the 48 it just makes it better.

Project: Uniesse 95 Sport
Uniesse showcases the project of another super yacht this time of sports nature, the 95 Sport. This very quality labelled Italian builder for its Sport line flagship, presents modern looks of round shape and flybridge which integrates well into the design but will be as these renderings suggest visible from the outside. The standard layout of the bridge offers a large helm settee for four person located in the middle, a wet-bar behind it, and a large sun pad, all this located centrally. The main deck saloon of the 95 is dedicated for the most part for entertainment excluding the helm to port side, and a small galley to starboard. Here you have a large C-shaped saloon, a dining table for eight, and another small C-shaped dinette which I cannot actually fully understand its purpose. Below is space for four cabins sleeping eight guests with the large owners staterooms located amidships, and the VIP suite queen sized berth looking to starboard. A galley and crew lobby, plus two cabins served with one shower head are located amidships infront of the engine room, and behind the owners cabin. Power is standard twin MTU 2217hp, and optional 2334 units. A 32 knots top speed is estimated from the standard engines.

Project: Uniesse 115MY
Uniesse talked about this project back in 2009, quoting that they have enquiries for a one hundred feet plus super yacht and now it seems we get to see some renderings of this important new flagship which will extend the current range of this respected Italian builder by forty feet. That is no small feat! The current largest Uniesse is the very admired 75HT a sportfish sport yacht hybrid this type design being basically a part of the fortune of this Italian builder in the nineties. The other being quality, and a very good sea keeping which is considered top of the class in size by the dock talkers. Now Uniesse proposes this 115MY, what is a two deck and a half super yacht of 35 meters in length. The standard layout will offer five double guest cabins below, plus an owners stateroom on the main deck to fore. Three double crew cabins plus a lobby are located to fore. Power is twin MTU 2434hp with an estimated top speed of 32 knots.

New Model: Uniesse 62 HT
Uniesse launches the much expected model the 62 HT, following what was seen with the current flagship of the Italian builder the 75 HT launched in 2007. The 62 HT will also sit in between the 57 Open, and the flagship model to what concerns this range. The HT range takes the classic US hull lines of the of the Open series with an enclosed more modern super structure which makes all year round usage very easy. But the free aft deck, the shear line, and the mezzanine L-shape settee tribute the US sportfish boat. The 62 HT follows what many Sport Yachts of this size offer with a living on the main deck, C-shaped sofa, entertainment cabinet, but is distinctive for having a galley located below. Down below is for three spacious cabins, with an owners stateroom located to midships, and an impressively sized VIP suite to fore with its queen sized berth resting on to port side. Power is from twin MAN standard 1000hp or optional 1200hp engines. Standard power give 34 knots of max, while the optional choice adds top speed by three knots.

New Model: Uniesse 55 Sport
Uniesse presents the new 55 Sport model, what is a replacement for the long standing since 2002 produced 54 of the same line which had an average market success. Measuring over all sixty feet, may be the North Italian builder should change the name here the 55 Sport is based on the same hull of the old model but offers a complete redefining of the deck spaces both above and below. The main reason why this happens is because of the patio door main deck plan which separates living areas up top making it usable all year round, leaving below dedicated to the cabins. Accommodation offers three double cabins with owners stateroom located forward, this feeling like being a full beam cabin thanks to the movement of the shower head to fore peak. While Uniesse is not the first to do this it is good to see another builder choosing this type of layout, which in building stage is much more practical to the builder meaning less tooling costs. On the 55 Sport there is also a choice for a galley down or up layout, with the upper choice giving a third shower head. A crew cabin is located to aft. The 55 Sport also follows recent trends in tender stowage with the 55 Sport having a hydraulic up and down bathing platform. Power is from standard 800hp MAN, or optional 1000hp engines which give top speed of 35 and 38 knots respectively. A surface drives version option should also be available, this pushing top speeds to about 45 knots max.
Technical Data:
LOA - 18.32 m (60.10ft)

Projects: Uniesse 53 HT, Uniesse 55 Sport, Uniesse 60 HT
Uniesse presents three projects set to be unveiled in 2011. Two of these projects are fully new models destined to fill the new HT range presented in 2007 with the launching of the 75HT. Above is in fact the first of these being the 53 HT. This fully new Uniesse will have a three double cabin two shower heads layout and although its owner suite is located to fore it is made in a way as to feel a full beam affair. The main deck which is the novelty of the HT range is fully closing, thanks to patio doors and sunroof opening. The Uniesse 55 Sport is a new model based on the 2003 launched 54. Similar to the 54 here in this new project is just the hull, as the rest comes from an evolution rethinking of the spaces offered by the patio door design. So its not just redesigning of the superstructure and adding a door to the wheel house area. But all the spaces onboard follow a new pattern from the aft deck, going to inside, and the three double cabins area below. For example on the 55 Sport you will loose the saloon in the lower deck, but thanks to this the owners stateroom while still located forward is moved further aft, and its head is moved to the fore peak. This makes it possible to take advantage of the full beam of the yacht, without complicating technical matters as when moving the owners room to midship. Another advantage is also that the two guest cabins keep a good space. Galley remains below, but the saloon is on the main deck covered under the hard top or fully open to sun and light. Uniesse 60 HT project is the pearl of the three new offers from this quality renowned North Italian builder. Not only for its larger size but for having a very intelligent use of spaces and the right mix of US European influenced design. Compliment this with Uniesse sea keeping fame of Jim Wynn Walt Walters derived hulls and this should actually be hard to miss for those looking for a top tier boat. The plan shows a well spacious aft deck, which also give an L-shaped mezzanine style table, and an unbeatable lower deck with a full beam midship owners room, VIP suite to fore, third double with en-suite shower head, and galley below. Also to note is that all these three new Uniesse projects feature a CE A certification.

New Model: Uniesse 75 Open HT
Uniesse had an amazing fall 2007 boat show year presenting four new models between 65 feet to the latest 75 feet flagship, the new 75 Open HT model. This is a very important new boat for the Shipyard as it's represent the Uniesse design philosophy, that of producing American Sport Fisherman style boats but with an Italian Mediterranean heritage of maximum onboard comfort status. Uniesse calls the 75 Open HT as the classic from the future, and how can you not agree with this statement. The biggest boat ever produced by this shipyard represents two important aspects, tradition which is represented by the external lines and innovation shown in the liveable space and state of the art technology. The new flagship from this prestigious shipyard has a unique exterior design which is completed inside with the best in onboard comfort, design innovation and the superb sea keeping Uniesse is renowned for. Interior accommodation is for a 4 double cabins all with private bathroom, a double fully equipped crew cabin is located mid-ships and a separate spacious galley is located next to the crew quarters at mid-ships that makes for the best of inside privacy.

New Model: Uniesse 65 Sport
The Uniesse 65 Sport is the new model for the modern Sport range from this prestigious Italian builder. Continuing the evolution of a modern futuristic hard top design, Uniesse offers a splendid coupe Sport Yacht of classic contemporary Italian lines that always stands out, whether berthed at the marina or sailing off at sea. The new 65 Sport has the Uniesse family feeling outside but also down below, thanks to a superior hull design from American Fred Hudson which gives this North Italian builder the rightful fame for a superior comfortable ride in the tough weather situations. The accommodation for this new model is also equally spacious offering 3 separate spacious double cabins all with there own heads and that includes the large full beam owners cabin and the L-shaped galley down below. Crew accommodation is for 1 person with a complete cabin located aft. As it is expected from Uniesse the performance for this new model is also very good considering the not so big 900hp MAN engines giving a top speed of 34 knots, when making the sums of a 65 feet Yacht weighing at 30 Tons plus it is very impressive indeed.
