Three Saved as Cranchi Sport Cruiser Goes Ablaze in Manfredonia, Italy

Three boaters were saved as an eleven meter Cranchi sport cruiser went ablaze at Marina di Gargano, in Manfredona, East Adriatic sea side of Italy on 14:00 of Saturday 25 July.  The boat was assisted by the Guardia Costiera Italian Coast Guard, Port Captaincy, and then the Vigili dell Fuoco fire fighters.  According to reconstruction of events the boat had a small explosion from a short circuit in it's electrical equipment before going fully ablaze.  No injuries were sustained by the boaters, with the boat ending wrecked but not sunk.
The boat in this accident is a Cranchi 39 Endurance as designed by Andreani and produced from 1998 to 2003.  The 39 Endurance was a replacement to the 35 Endurance, and was replaced by the Cranchi 41 Endurance.
