Three Saved as BlueGame Yacht Goes Ablaze Near Tavolara, Sardinia

Three boaters were saved as a sixteen meter BlueGame went ablaze as it was cruising between Capo Ceraso and the Island of Tavolara to the North East of Sardinia, on the afternoon of Wednesday eight July.  The three boaters which also included an eleven year old child, jumped in the water to save them selves from the blaze, as the Guardia Costiera of Olbia came to the scene with the CP 894 patrol boat. The environmental ship San Giusto then followed in the scene to clean the area.  The yacht ultimately sunk, with some reports saying the yacht hit a reef first, and this generated a short circuit in the electrical system which set it ablaze.  The three boaters were reported uninjured.

The yacht in this first is a BlueGame BG54 as designed by Zuccon and produced since 2022.
