A classic sixteen meter motor yacht named Mabita VI went ablaze while berthed at Porto Sole in San Remo, Italy on the evening of Saturday 25 July. Marine personnel tended to the fire first and were assisted by the Vigili dell Fuoco fire fighters and then the Port Captaincy of San Remo. No injuries were reported as the yacht was also under seizure in the Marina. The cause of the blaze is under investigation, with a short circuit being reported as the cause of the fire.
