A fourteen meter Sea Ray flybridge cruiser with two persons onboard ended aground near New Pass in Jewfish Key island, Florida at 18:45 of Wednesday third June. Florida Gulf Coast Marine Services of TowBoatUS who shared this story on his YouTube channel assisted the boat, and removed it from the sandbar into deep water, in a race against time, as a scheduled incoming tide would have pushed the flybridge cruiser even further into the sand-bar and hard-aground, and make removal more complicated. Ultimately the operation was a success and the flybridge cruiser left with it's own power, meaning its sustained very little damage.
The boat in this accident is a Sea Ray 47 Sedan Bridge as produced from 2008 to 2009. The 47 Sedan Bridge was a replacement to the 480 Sedan bridge, and was replaced by the Sea Ray 450 Sedan Bridge.
