Four Boaters Saved as Classic Boat Sinkes Near Naples, Italy

Four boaters were saved as a nine meter classic cabin cruiser started to take on water offshore to Torre del Greco, to the South of Naples, Italy in the early morning hours of Thursday 25 June.  The boaters were assisted by the Repart Operativo Aeronavale of Naples, who saved the boaters first, and then were followed by the Guardia Costiera coast guard who tried to float back the boat without success.  No injuries were reported with the cause of the sinking reported to be wood planking failure.
