A Sea Ray sport cruiser of thirteen meters in length went ablaze at Hindson Marina, Penetanguishene, Canada at 03:30 early morning time of Tuesday thirteenth June 2023. Penetanguishene Fire and Emergency Services responded to the boat fire first, and were assisted later by the Midland and Tiny fire departments. The fire was difficult to control as there was only access from the pier and to the stern of the boat, with this being extinguished with the boat ablaze getting wrecked. Two other boats located to the side of the boat sustained fire damage burns, with the one to starboard sustaining more damage to the one to port. No one was injured in the fire as all boats were not attended.
The boat in this fire is a Sea Ray 450 Sundancer as produced from 1995 to 1999, while the two effected boats are a Carver 466 Motor Yacht as produced from 2001 to 2007, and an Egg Harbour 48 Golden Egg as produced from 1978 to 1986.
