New Model: Overmarine Mangusta 165

Announced as a project in 2004, the new Overmarine Mangusta 165 has been very much a top secret construction, with everyone trying to imagine what a fifty metre Sports Super Yacht would look like. Overmarine did not disappoint the critics and presented a spectacular Sport Yacht with open like characteristics! Personally I find it difficult to call this an open, although one must admit especially looking at the 165 from distance away that the design and style all call for a big hard top, open sport yacht. Architect Righini designed a great looking Sporty fifty metre Super Yacht following the lines of the successful 130 and putting in good use the extra length with an invisible sport flybridge and aggressive breath taking lines as a Mangusta should be. The custom interior of the 165 can accommodate ten or twelve guests in five or six staterooms while crew accommodation is for seven members in three cabins. Still as all Overmarine Mangusta this is a custom project and can be transformed to the owners requests. As for the performance these are up to standard Mangusta fame, with Hull one fitted with twin MTU 4556hp each driving Kamewa Jets plus Booster giving 37 knots of top speed. Overmarine is predicting to build 2 165' a year.

Project: Sarnico 65 Special

Flagship of the Sarnico range of sports cruiser and yachts, the 65 is proposed in a new updated “Special” version. The interiors of the boat have been completely redesigned in order to offer an even more comfortable and pleasant owner suite. The owner’s cabin now covers a wider surface, in correspondence to the centre of the hull, where the boat is more steady. The open space is made even larger by the new side window, that changes the look of the sides and allows a spectacular panoramic view. The furniture is built in order to increase the wardrobe volume. The suite is completed by a true bathroom, provided with a broad shower box. Of course the other characteristics and the whole quality remain unchanged. The guests may comfortably stay in the VIP bow cabin or in the stern one, with independent access from the cockpit and completely isolated from the saloon, for a better privacy. Both cabins have direct en-suite bathrooms, each one provided with shower box. The salon maintains enough space to host a living space with a table and a fully equipped galley. The crew cabin and a hallway with all household appliances complete the accommodation deck layout. Key elements of the success remain the sharp line and the hard top, whose frontal opening, starting from the upper side of the windshield, enables to air the cockpit and fully appreciate the speed sensation from the piloting position. Although sporty, the Sarnico 65 always shows a clear elegance which makes it standing out from the other boats of similar typology. Despite the dimensions and the displacement top speed is of 39 knots with two 1360hp engines.

New Model: Horizon 60 Elegance

The first new Horizon 60 Elegance, designed by architect Tommaso Spadolini, made its first debut on July, 2007. Following 64 and 48 Elegance sophisticated design and extraordinary quality, the new 60 has an integrated solid hull structure built with Scrimp technology and powered with MAN 1100hp engines. The interior arrangement is compact but still involved in plenty of innovative arrangements such as a passageway through upper deck galley to lower deck crew cabin and an engine room which gives the boat owner complete accessibility and still undisturbed privacy. Other than that, it is also equipped with a Tender garage, something not much found in a 60 feet flybridge motor yacht. As for the interior arrangement, the new 60 has three staterooms, and one study room featured with a convertible bunk and female owner's exclusive vanity table. Abundant and practical storage space throughout the accommodation area also provide boat owner great convenience.

New flagship of the Apreamare Gozzo fleet, the 64 renews the collaboration with Victory design by the Sorrento boat builder. Evolution of the Gozzo design this new model is characterized with elegant, essential shapes and natural living areas. The new Apreamare continues where the 60 left with the much liked shoe shape divan forward but adds also new elements of innovation at the stern area with its peculiar classic shape and central sunbed area. Under deck the new 64 features 3 spacious double cabins, with a full beam middle cabin, master suite which includes a large walk in wardrobe. Standard interior furnishing are in shiny or matte mahogany woods. Power is by twin MAN 900hp common rail engines, with a more powerful 1100hp option available. New Model: Benetti 85 Legend

The new Benetti 85 Legend is the the new entry for the prestigious Viareggio builder fleet, enriching the wide selection offered by this famous constructor. This time, Benetti focuses on a mostly private use of the yacht, enabling ship owners who want to buy it to drive it personally, enjoying a special sense of privacy. Going on board the 85 Legend you will be surprised by the large and functional rooms, which are worthy of the standards of the big yachts of Benetti’s fleet, as the extensive use of wood, precious marble and steel testifies. It has been conceived for the owner and for his family, but its layout includes three cabins beside the one for the ship owner, which is located on the main deck, allowing the presence of up to eight guests on board: a full beam VIP cabin with two large windows which enable to enjoy the view from within the boat, and two stern cabins - each equipped with two beds, one of which is a large single bed - designed with two large windows. The real surprise is represented by the external environments, designed with a very wide sun deck which allows complete relaxation, offered also by the retractable sunshade with the double function of providing protection, thanks to its water tightness, as well during sudden rainfalls which characterize also the Mediterranean summer. If the owner decides for a crew managed motor yacht, it is also possible to host up to three people in two of the cabins, whose rooms, include a large dinette, have been designed on the stern not to interfere with the life of guests on board. New Model: Bavaria 33 Sport

Replacing the Bavaria 32 Sport the new 33 Sport shows a number of general important modifications, with an entirely redesigned interior and cockpit layout. The new interior features a separate foreship cabin beside a spacious salon, a large head, and a complete galley with integrated microwave oven. The aft cabin provides plenty of storage space, two beds that may be converted into a large double, a comfortable settee and sufficient head clearance in the entrance area. Compared to the replacement Bavaria 32 Sport the new 33 Sport has an extended hull in length, wider beam and higher free board. Consequently, besides the extended interior volume, the cockpit is also more spacious and features a wetbar with sink and the optional refrigerator. The spacious, u-shaped settee offers enough sitting space for the entire crew and the backward sunpad is expendable by a backrest folding system. In the forward cockpit an additional seat besides the drivers seat is made available.

The new Cranchi 36 Zaffiro is the project for the renowned Italian boat builder and will be the top model in the Master Cruiser mid-size range replacing the successful 34. The philosophy of this new model follows the trend Cranchi showed in the latest 32 Zaffiro of a spacious exterior layout, integrated separated extended bathing platform and retro design touches outside and inside. Inside accommodation for this new model will feature 2 separate cabins, a saloon settee to starboard and a galley to port with a clean minimal design approach. The new Zaffiro model should be powered by the latest pair of Volvo Penta D4 diesel engines.
