Mondomarine is back!  Acquired by the always growing Palumbo Group who also owns ISA Yachts, and created his Columbus brand back in around 2010.  As was the case with ISA Yachts, Palumbo is not someone who wastes time and with Mondomarine a project was immediately born, and here we have the Discovery 57m.  A 57 meter triple deck super yacht designed by Luca Dini, the Discovery will be a series of four models which spans from forty to 75 meters in length.  The Discovery 57m will feature some key features, from two flush deck pools, one at the main deck and another on the fly deck, to the choice of a master cabin taking the whole fore-deck for it or for this to divide space with another VIP suite.

Project: Mondomarine M40 Explorer

Intended for a European shipowner, the Mondomarine M40 Explorer carries a wide range of interesting stylistic and functional elements representing an evolution in the Explorer yacht concept. Design by Sergio Cutolo of Hydro-Tec M40 Explorer presents smooth and intriguing lines to satisfy the most demanding eyes without compromising key features.  Mondomarine M40 Explorer still maintains the main characteristics of an exploration vessel must grant: a high bow, vertical bridge windows, generous living spaces on deck and generous storerooms to haul suitable auxiliary means to explore remote places. New Launch: Mondomarine M60 C27-01

Mondomarine is delighted to announce the launch of the largest yacht in its fleet to date, the 60m C27-01 constructed in aluminum with a semi-displacement type hull made by Mondomarine engineering and exterior design by Luca Dini.  Now named Sarastar the Mondomarine M60 C27-01, for which Luca Dini designed a three deck semi wide body looks.  The interiors will offer six guest cabins, with an owners stateroom located on the forward part of the main deck.  Power comes from twin MTU 3860hp which deliver a max speed of 19 knots.

New Model: Mondomarine M50 C22-04

Mondomarine presents the launch of project C22-04, a fifty meter semi displacement super yacht has delivery number 64 for the Savona based Italian shipyard. Mondomarine M50 C22-04 is a design from Milan based Hot Lab studio who designed the exterior, with the interior managed by Interforce Inc from Fort Lauderdale USA. With an overall length of 49 meters and a beam of nine, build with light alloy for both hull and superstructure, M50 features three decks and a spacious sundeck. The innovative look of this project follows Mondomarine’s traditional styling and heritage adding design solutions that gives to the yacht’s profile a flowing and appealing line enriched by the magnificent color combinations attributed by the owner. Her most eye-catching feature is the steep rake of the stern, which generates a forward visual thrust for the superstructure and creates a play of open and filled spaces, allowing natural light to bathe the main deck interiors. The full-height windows running most of the length of the main deck create exciting, light-filled interior spaces that allow a constant dialogue with the exterior. Access to the yacht is along the central walkway separating the two large sun-pads which leads to the aft cockpit, offering a large sun area and lounge with spacious sofas evoking the generous spaces typical of an open design. The fold-down beach area is uniquely large for a super yacht of this size and conceals the access stairway and forms a striking yet warmly welcoming area. This stylistic solution creates an extended visual sweep that acts as a conceptual reflection of the classic external lines. Automobile-style details that are a typical feature of Hot Lab’s work include the design of the aft fair-leads. The starboard garage hosts a large tender. Twelve guests will be accommodated in four guest cabins and one Owner’s stateroom. The style of the interiors is fully classical, which contains countless elements of the purest architectural tradition, columns, pilasters and carved lintels, friezes and bas-reliefs, from the Italian, English and French manufacturing tradition. Twelve different type of marbles are found on-board, onyx, mahogany, brier and a large quantity and variety of tissues: 37 different motifs decorate the 5 cabins, the two lounges and other public and private areas, creating a decorative richness of precious and rare color impact. As all Mondomarine‘s construction structural, hydrodynamic and technical design for M50 C22-06 was handled by the Savona builder engineering team, who for this vessel went for a semi displacement hull shape which offer max speeds of twenty knots from twin MTU 2185hp engines.

Project: Mondomarine M57 Eidos

Mondo Marine presents the M57 Eidos project, a collaboration with the Team for Design of Enrico Gobbi.  Edios is a modern elegant, neat style lines, balanced proportions, three deck and a half super yacht to be built in steel for hull, and light alloy for the upper structure.  The layout will feature a main stateroom on the main deck, with five guest rooms below deck.  Power will come from twin 2260hp MTU, which will give a 16 knots top speed, and a 14 of cruise.  Mondomarine M57 Eidos will have a range 3300 nautical miles at 12 knots, and will be built as per RINA unrestricted navigation rules.

Mondo Marine from Savona presents its new World Wide wed virtual showroom. This web site represents an important ownership change at Mondo Marine which happened in 2013. Mondo Marine was founded in 1978 when Mondo Group aquired a yard in Alba to build yachts, and named this company Mondo Marine. In the mid nineties Mondo Marine transferred to a yard in Genoa in order to build bigger alloy and steel yachts over forty meters in length. After this Mondo Marine transferred again to an even larger facility in Savona. This facility in Savona was known as the Campanella shipyard, and was founded in 1915. In 2013 Mondo Marine was aquired by Alessandro Falciai and Roberto Zambrini. Currently Mondo Marine has a list of sixteen new custom yacht projects with four of these; SF40, M50, M54, and M60 S being under construction. Project: Mondomarine M60 S

Mondomarine is currently building its largest yacht to date, and the past April it laid the keel for the M60 S. Designed by Luca Dini, M60 S is a triple deck super yacht with five double guest cabins on the lower deck, and an owners suite on the main deck.  The M60 S surprises for spaces dedicated to tender and private water craft stowage, with the garage which opens to the sea to starboard side and stowing two runabout fast boats standing out. A further space on the fore deck with stowage for a rib tender and two jet bikes exists. The stern of the M60 S is a fully dedicated beach area which opens itself to the water when the yacht is on anchor. The upper deck of the M60 S is a fully dedicated lounging area with large relaxing saloon offering nice unobstructed views. Power of the M60 S will be twin 3860hp MTU engines with top speed being estimated in the 19 knots region.

New Model: Mondomarine 41 Meters Semidisplacement

The new Mondomarine 41 Meters Semidisplacement super yacht which follows as some of the latest projects of the renowned shipyard design by Cor D. Rover for the concept design and exterior styling, Luca Dini for the interior, and Mondomarine for the naval architecture. The interior decor, taste vaguely Art Deco, is characterized, in the common spaces, by the contrast between the dark woods and white tissues while the cabins are made warmer by the presence of leather details as the base and the headboard of the beds. The layout includes the main salon and the Owner’s suite on the main deck, a lounge on the upper deck and four guest’s cabins on the lower deck; the bow and the stern are VIP full beam, while the center are one twins and one double. Twin 2255 hp MTU engines push the 41 meters Semidisplacement RINA classified Mondomarine at a max speed of 19 knots, cruise at 17, and a range of 3000 nautical miles at 12 knots.

Mondomarine presents its fourth 50 meter super yacht with the Displacement hull type named Streamline. Once again Mondomarine proposes the couple Cor D. Rover exterior styling, and Frederic Mechiche and Luca Dini for interior design. Constructed of steel and light alloy the 50 Meters Displacement M/Y Streamline as all the latest yachts of the shipyard has the naval architecture in house by Mondomarine. The interior zoning, very full of light and fitted out in a minimalist style, is flexible and suitable for different needs and situations. While the main deck is divided with a classic layout; salon, dining room and Owner’s suite to fore, on the lower deck there are three double cabins for guests plus an area which, according to circumstances, may be used as a double cabin or a study. Another Mondomarine of fifty meters, the third to be exact is this Semidisplacement super yacht. Named Toy-A this 50 Meters Semidisplacement launched in the fall of 2009 is a project by Giorgio Vafiadis and Associates firm. Vafiadis for this custom Mondomarine which comes in third place in its current sizes sported a modern sleek three deck layout. Accommodation plan is for an owners stateroom located on the main deck, four guest cabins below in the lower deck, and a fifth guest suite on the third deck. Crew rooms are five double cabins in the dedicated lobby in the lower deck to fore, and a captains cabin is on the top third deck behind the helm station. Power is for twin MTU 2735hp which give a top speed of 20 knots to this light alloy built semi displacement yacht, and a range of 3500 nautical miles at 12 knots.

New Model: Mondomarine 40 Meters Semidisplacement

A success on the market for its super yachts induced Mondomarine to launch the 40 Metres Semidispacement. Unlike recent Mondomarine which are built of alloy or steel this 40 meter named Villa Reis was built in fiberglass composite material. This new model is based on an in house project by Mondomarine design team, with an interior by architect Luca Dini. The external lines of this 40 Metres Semidispalcement which is the the fifty fourth yacht boasting the logo by the Shipyard of Savona related to Mondo Group of Gallo D’Alba, are characterized, by the wheelhouse, perfectly circular and with a semi circle view. A difference is the positioning of the sun-deck area, provided with a Jacuzzi, in the outside bow area of the upper deck, instead to the usual stern cockpit or on the sun-deck. The interior layout, rather traditional in the layout and with a neo-classical touch, includes the owner’s suite complete with a study in the wide body area of the main deck, a large salon with dining room and the galley on the same deck. Four guest cabins are located on the lower deck while the upper deck includes a living room, a gym full of light, the Captain’s cabin and the wheelhouse.
