Project: Tecnomar Evo 155

Tecnomar Evo 155 project was born from the need to give continuity to the successful Evo-line, which debuted in 2016 with the 55 model, and was followed in 2018 with the 120 model, of which six units have been build so far.  The Tecnomar Evo 155 will feature exterior with a strong sporty curvy futuristic character, all this in a length of 46 meters and without exceeding a volume of 499 gross tonnage.  A feature in the Evo 155 will be an innovative beach area, with a large stern window, and two foldable doors that allow direct access to the sea and a connection with the external area, allowing 360° liveability between interior and exterior.  The spacious sun deck is equipped with a large bar and a sunbathing area with a swimming pool. A second swimming pool is also found in the extreme bow area on the upper deck connected to a large sunbathing area, convertible into a pleasant dining area with a 180° view of the sea.  The Tecnomar Evo 155 will have interiors characterized by two large lounge areas on the full-beam main deck, with accommodation for ten guests in five suites; two guests on the lower deck, two VIP cabins on the main deck and the Owner’s cabin on the same deck.

Project: Tecnomar Evo 130

After six units delivered of the Evo 120, Tecnomar presents the project for an Evo 130.  Designed by Gian Marco Ciampanino the Evo 130 is a larger evolution of the modern line from Tecnomar, which launched in 2016 with the 55 Open model and arriving to the first 120 in 2018.  68 and 80 projects never materialized, although the 80 was at some point reported under construction.  An evolution in lines and design, the Evo 130 will be technically different from the smaller three meters sister, wider but also in hull shape with a semi-displacement which powered by twin Man 1800hp engines will give a top speed up to nineteen knots.  The Tecnomar Evo 130 will offer a six double guest cabins layout, with an owners stateroom on the forward part of the main deck.  Tecnomar says the Evo 130 is construction ready, although the first unit is not reported as sold yet.

New Model: Tecnomar For Lamborghini 63

Announced as a project in 2020 the Tecnomar For Lamborghini 63 is a fast sport yacht of twenty meters designed by the Sant' Agatha famed auto manufacturer for the exterior and Brunello Acampora for the hull, which touched the water in Summer of 2021 to much acclaim. It is not the first time though Lamborghini looked to boating as in 1983 in order to make a name in selling engines for racing powerboats in the Class One category it opened its marine division, which launched an eleven meter aluminium prototype designed by Aldo Cichero and build by Baglietto.  This prototype raced and competed in Class One, powered by twin 720hp Lambo engines and had top speeds up to eighty knots, and was then made into a production unit in 1984 build of Kevlar and Carbon Fibre by Axxes Quetzal and powered by twin 550hp or 720hp Lamborghini engines.  Including the aluminium prototype only two units are reported to have been made, with the fiberglass version being powered by smaller twin 550hp Lamborghini engines which gave her a 65 knots top speed. But the marine division remained open till 2008 selling engines mostly to Class One competing powerboats.  For those into history there was also the custom one off Riva Aquarama Lamborghini build for Ferrucio himself which launched in 1969, modified and extended in engine space to fit the twin 400hp Lamborghini engines.  The Tecnomar For Lamborghini 63 wants to be more of a production unit, with a limited run of 63 units, not little in these sizes even for a good selling commercial brand with price sensitivity in mind.  The Lamborghini 63 is offered in three lower deck versions; open lounge, single cabin, or two cabins, and is powered by twin Man 2000hp with fixed surface drives which make her reach a top speed up to sixty knots and a cruise of forty, while an economic thirty knots will make you consume only ten litres per nautical mile.

Tecnomar New Web Site

Tecnomar from Italy updates its virtual World wide web showroom to a new platform. Founded in 1987 by the Sarti family, Tecnomar is located in World yacht building capital Viareggio, and started up by purchasing Bruno Benetti, a high performance 35 to 50 feet sport cruisers and yacht builder with hulls designed by British racing offshore specialist Cougar. In 1991 with the launch of the TB58 Tecnomar changes its philosophy and becomes a yacht builder offering semi custom platform, entering into the super 24 metres plus size first in 1997 with a fully custom offering and then in 2001, with the launch of the Velvet 25. The yard expansion was started in the new millennium and by 2004, the company delivered its bigger boat under the old Sarti management what was the 35 Velvet for renowned football player and manager Mancini. In January 2009 Tecnomar changes hands with new Chairman and CEO Giovanni Costantino, and becoming part of the Italian Sea Group yacht offer and moving a bit further North to Massa Carrara. Tecnomar largest build to date was the 45m Nadara launched in 2010 and able to reach max speeds up to 30 knots.  Today Tecnomar offers nine different models divided in three different ranges; Evo, Nadara, and Velvet build in aluminium and composite.  The range offers starts from the semi custom 55 feet Evo and goes up to the 47 meter Nadara. The new Tecnomar web showroom is available in Italian and English language takes you around the with the following main buttons: Fleet, Brand, Service, Magazine, Press, Sales, and Contact.  Tecnomar is also on social media with bottom right links taking you to the brands Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Youtube company pages.

Project: Tecnomar Evo 68 HT

Tecnomar continue to expand its Evo line with the presentation of more project models.  Set at the entrance of the Tecnomar line up, the Evo series has received a huge boost of confidence in 2016 with the selling of the first 55 unit, and an 80 and 115 models currently on order and in build at Massa in Italy. The Evo 68 HT wants to add to this success and sits as a bridge model between the 55 and 80 composite series.  Designed by Tecnomar in-house designer Gian Marco Campanino, the 68 offers the futuristic exterior looks of its smaller and larger sisters, with a three double cabins interior.  A single crew cabin is to be located at midships.  Power comes from IPS propulsion type engines with twin 900hp Volvo's as standard, and or optional triple 800hp installation.

New Model: Tecnomar Evo 55 Open

Sometimes a builder comes with a design which is out of the ordinary, and while all these innovative looking boats seem to get the input from the 2003 big Wally Power, recent new boats are going beyond the copy paste realm.  The new Tecnomar Evo 55 Open designed by Gian Marco Campanino is such a design. The Italian designer for the Evo series seem to have gotten inspiration from a sci-fi movie with the exterior of the Evo 55 Open looking like a chameleon coming out of the water.  Looking standstill the Tecnomar Evo 55 looks like it is looking at you.  Campanino has to be commended for an interesting out of the ordinary design, such it is that we forget that the Evo 55 sees Tecnomar returning to the smaller sizes sub 24 meter, something which the yard has not been doing for quite some time. Still important to note that Tecnomar returns to smaller sizes with its usual custom identity it had since founded in the mid eighties with the Evo 55 Open offering three lower deck choices, optional crew cabin and a different Hardtop model availability.
Technical Data:

Projects: Tecnomar Evo 55 HT, Tecnomar Evo 55 Open

Tecnomar looks back in returning to offering a 55 feet sport yacht.  While the Massa boat builder made the turn of the century making name above the eighty feet size, in the nineties its was much or more about the TB58 model.  Designed by architect Gian Marco Campanino the Tecnomar Evo 55 has the looks of a modern runabout, see axe bow and will be offered in HT for hardtop or Open versions.  The Evo 55 will also have three different interior options; which differ from a big lounge layout, to a single cabin, and the option of one crew cabin at midships with a separate dinette.  Power comes from Volvo 725hp, or 900hp units with IPS pods with speeds going up to 40 knots with the large engine option.

This new Tecnomar is a two deck and a half flybridge super yacht with a raised pilot house. This solution gives the benefit of having a fully dedicated main deck for the owners conveniences. New Model: Tecnomar 43 Nadara Trideck

Tecnomar launches the much expected new 43 Nadara Trideck. Heading the Tecnomar range as the yards flagship the 43 Nadara writes also a new record in the history book, most notably for being the largest in size triple decked to go in planning mode. The 43 Nadara Trideck does this in style reaching a top speed of 31 knots and keeping an all time cruise of 25 knots, with the power provided by twin MTU's of 3650hp. Founded in 1986 in Viareggio, Tecnomar started by building fast powerboats, and today 23 years later moving its premises to Massa the yard presents a triple decked Super Yacht of forty three metres. The interior plan of hull number one offers seven guest cabins, with the owners suite having a nearly full third deck dedicated to it, minus the forward part which is reserved for the main pilot station. The other six guest cabins are located on the mid part of the lower deck, with the fore part here reserved for the four cabins seven berth crew quarters. Still has been seen in all Tecnomar models each boat is pretty much a semi custom build recognizable only from the outside with the inside offering always a plan dedicated to each owner.

New Model: Tecnomar 36 Velvet

The first model of the Velvet 36 line was launched last May 10th. Four years after the official debut of the Velvet 35, the yacht that confirmed Tecnomar's leading position in the "open yacht" sector, the Viareggio-based shipyard is back with a new generation of "maxi" open yachts. Besides more overall length, the Velvet 36 line also introduces a number of new design features created by architect and designer Luca Dini. Starting from the hull, among the differences compared to the previous model we find a new windowing scheme. The typical flush portholes with stainless steel framing have been replaced with the more sporty and modern looking rectangular embedded portholes that can be easily opened to give even more light and air to all the cabins. The second saloon/dining area presents triple side windows to offer a breathtaking panorama view from both sides of the boat, giving all guests on board an unprecedented view of the sea and the feeling of being on a raised platform just above sea level. For safety reasons, the panoramic side windows cannot be opened and are made of armored, bullet-proof and break-resistant glass. As for the hull, the side rubbing strips have been replaced by more resistant "embedded" moldings running along the entire side of the boat that subtly integrates an air suction grille in the aft area to provide ventilation in the engine room. As we ascend to the deck, we find more changes in the superstructure. The first and most significant of these features is the new front glass windshield. The glass surface is now twice as wide, giving the boat an even more sophisticated look and also filling the interiors with a "cathedral style" light. Even the side windows in the superstructure have been broadened. Though the boat has not changed much of its external appearance, in the inside, the paneling has been further reduced to make the most out of the glass surfaces. The deckhouse has been restyled and like the Velvet 100 models, instead of the usual sundeck, it now features a complete "Combo" living area, where guests can talk, have lunch or just relax under the sun. The Living zone in the main deck has been further broadened reducing the need of creating extra open-air spaces in the saloon. This is why the new Velvet 36 was conceived with an additional "sun bridge", a rather isolated private area on the hard top, in the place of the full-open roof characterizing the previous model. However, for those who are nostalgic for the traditional Tecnomar "open" boats, it is possible to install the roof instead of the sun bridge. Interiors are, as usual, left to the purchaser's discretion, who will decide upon subdivision layout and furniture, as in Tecnomar's tradition.

Project: Tecnomar 35 Velvet

Four years after it made its official debut, the model that confirmed Tecnomar's leading position in the Super Sport Yacht segment presents its first restyling and also adds many new features. At first glance, the new 35 Velvet impresses for its wide windows ahead of the hard top roof. The shipyard always emphasizes the play of light and shadows when designing its models, but in this most recent version, thanks to a new skylight windshield the designers take this to the next level, by combining even more aggressive dynamism of lines with more light and a spectacular panoramic view from the main saloon. Particularly noteworthy is the play of light and shadows that fills the spaces under the deck through wider windows in the hull and especially through the glass surfaces in the living area. Remove the roof and there you have a luxury flybridge yacht! After many years of great success for open hard top yachts, Tecnomar is confident about the sport flybridge design and the increase in the market share being the natural next step for the the big opens evolution. The Velvet's new 35-meters will further develop its standard version in this direction, even if open-yacht fans will still have the chance to install a fully automatic full hard top roof. The sun bathing, living area forward has also been restyled to the previous 35 Velvet and imitates the successful solution shown in the Velvet 100. Careful observers will be sure to admire many other restyling enhancements when the new model will be officially presented this spring.

Project: Tecnomar 43 Nadara

The latest Tecnomar project is represented by a new flagship of 43 meters long and entirely made in fiberglass. Nadara 43 is ready to set sail next July 2008 and like any other Nadara model its outboard profile has been built to maintain cleanliness and tradition. Passageways are everywhere on its three decks and there is no full beam deck to ensure greater protection when passing through one area to another. The motoryacht is designed to accommodate 14 passengers and 6 crew members. The flying deck for relaxation and sunbathing is equipped with a spa bath and a spacious sun deck, comfortable sofas, sunbeds and armchairs. Almost entirely reserved for the shipowner, the second deck, which can be reached through a private staircase from the hall hosts a studio and a big shipowner's cabin with en-suite bathroom behind the wheelhouse. Spectacular lighting and large glass surfaces are the cutting edge design of the new flagship. All decks are connected by one imposing spiral staircase. The sleeping area has 4 master bedrooms and two twin-bedded cabins. Three twin cabins and a dinette with kitchenette have been reserved for the crew. Between the guest area and the engine room there's a buffer area for the crew with laundry and ironing room, which is directly connected to the engine room. The main deck reveals somewhat of a retro style; the prow features a very large kitchen connected to the crew area, handy and functional, with refrigerator cells and a huge galley. Behind the kitchen, the large dining room can seat 14 diners and can easily be divided into two smaller areas. The interior design is classical marine style with the predominance of warm colors, mahogany and pear wood. The furniture lines are smooth with blunted corners. Power is provided by two 3000 hp MTU engines with in-line propulsion and should give a maximum speed of around 28 knots, with a maximum cruising speed of 25.

New Model: Tecnomar 120 Velvet

The latest Tecnomar Velvet 120 luxury yacht is the result of the shipyard’s long-lasting collaboration with architect Luca Dini. Its modern, dynamic and powerful lines combine with luxurious and sumptuous features. The interior design for the first 120 draws inspiration from the 14-15th centuries and imitates the Boulle technique, which takes its name from Andrè-Charles Boulle, the famous cabinetmaker who invented this distinctive style by decorating furniture with metal, brass and tortoiseshell inlays. Outside, the Velvet 120 yacht shows sharp and aggressive lines. Bright red hull and metallic gray superstructure add a modern contemporary touch to the entire yacht. The exteriors appear to be simple and stylish without frills or extra fittings, so that everything seems to create more space and allow freedom of movement. The cockpit is spacious and roomy with a comfortable sundeck placed at the end of the stern. Teak beams cover the deck, the side gangways and the forward deck house, which has been custom-converted into a landing pad for an Augusta 109 helicopter. The inside of the yacht can be accessed from the cockpit through a large glass door with dim crystal windows. The Pilot House is designed to allow the captain to access the bridge without necessarily passing through the guest area, there is also a separate stairway leading to the kitchen and to the crew cabins. As all Tecnomar a full custom design process making for the original taste of the owner both inside and outside is included.
