Four boats of which three ribs from eight to twelve meters and a classic nine meter Bertram sport cruiser were wrecked in a fire at Punta Asfodeli in Porto Rotondo, Sardinia in the early 01:30 hours of Wednesday 23 September. Vigili del Fuoco fire fighters from the Olbia station responded to the blaze with fire trucks which took a few hours to control. No injuries are reported with the blaze which started from a short circuit in one of the four boats.
The boats in this accident are a Sea Water Kymera 43, Top Marine 1000, classic Bertram 28 Moppie, and a Solemar 27 Oceanic.
