A nine meter Tiara sport cruiser with two men onboard went ablaze about three hundred meters offshore to the Intracoastal Waterway, East of North Flagler Drive, West Palm Beach, Florida at 18:39 of Tuesday fifth September 2023. The West Palm Beach Police Department said its Marine Unit was patrolling the waterway and quickly arrived on scene to find the sport cruiser, fully engulfed in flames. They then move the boat closer to shore, and managed to extinguish the fire, with the boat ended wrecked. The Police Department later reported that two men on board the boat escaped without injuries. The US Coast Guard is investigating the incident. This is the third boat fire in span of three days in Palm Beach.
The boat in this fire is a Tiara 3100 Open as produced from 1979 to 1991. The 3100 Open was Tiara's first boat of the newly founded motor boat of Leon Slickers, and was replaced by a second generation 3100 Open.
