A nineteen meter Baia sport yacht ended aground on the rocks of Fanari, to the North East of Spetses Island, in Attica Greece on the night of first September 2022. The dynamics of the collision and grounding are not much reported, beside this picture which was shared on the Boating in Greece Facebook page by Petros Kostas Kyriazis. The yacht was recovered with a barge the morning of the following day.
The yacht in this collision is a Baia 63 Azzurra as designed by Carlo Galeazzi and produced from 1999 to 2004. The 63 Azzurra was a replacement to the 59 Exuma, with the model evolving into a second generation 63 Azzurra with renewed hard-top.
