A nine meter Bayliner sport cruiser went ablaze in Krk, Croatia at 12:31 of Saturday fifth June, 2021. After a call for assistance SeaHelp arrived to the scene in sixteen minutes, and started fighting the fire, and were later assisted by the Krk Fire Department, with the Bayliner cruiser ending wrecked but not sinking. After the fire the decision was made to tow the floating wreck to Camping Politin to the East of Krk. The boaters were all uninjured as the skipper later explained that the boat went ablaze as it was making its way to Marina Punat, and when they noticed the fire, evacuated it and jumped to a friends boat, and then called for assistance.
The Bayliner cruiser in this fire is a 2955 Avanti Sunbridge as produced from 1988 to 1990. The 2955 Avanti Sunbridge was a replacement to the 2850 Contessa Sunbridge, and was replaced by the Bayliner 3055 Ciera Sunbridge.
