New Model: Canados Gladiator 493 Grand

For most of its time Cantieri Navali di Ostia i.e Canados has been known for building yachts of important sizes upwards of seventy feet.  Yet the Gladiator range which debuted with the 428 then renamed 431 in 2017 has changed all this, and now following the success of this thirteen meter Canados presents the similar yet larger 493 Grand.  The Gladiator 493 Grand’s design was to offer a modern classic appeal, luxury, comfortable interiors and a second-to-none cockpit to entertain your guests. The Gladiator 493 comes with a deep swimming platform which, as an option, can be converted into a hydraulic swimming or boarding stairs. The central aft deck sun pad is generous, and hides a garage and the central console helm station is protected by a laminated glass windshield. The fore deck offers the exact same set up as the 431 WA with its gigantic sun pad and chaise longue looking forward. The interior has two options; two cabins and two bathrooms, and or an open plan double layout with a choice of a one crew cabin berth.  Like all Canados even the small Gladiator are a custom product like the larger super yachts. Canados says the Gladiator 493 Grand is a rough water deep-Vee sport cruiser center console that is standard powered by twin Volvo 440hp with stern drive propulsion which give a top speed up to 38 knots.  Want more speeds Canados offers other options from triple or quad Mercury outboards 450 or 600hp and other inboard diesel option which deliver performances up to 58 knots.
