Project: Bayliss 80 B15

North Carolina's, Wanchese custom Sportfish builder Bayliss celebrated its 8th birthday the past April in style announcing its largest boat to date, with the order for the 80 feet B15. Bayliss new flagship will have a five stateroom lower deck sleeping eleven people, five heads including one on the main deck, and a saloon which sits sixteen adults comfortably. Among other novelties for B15 is also the queen island bed in the VIP cabin which transforms to two single berths, and an owners suite located to fore, which uses this Super Sportfish widest area to deliver unique luxury to the owner. John Bayliss, and Naval Architect Robert Ullberg from Ullberg Yacht Design are responsible for the innovations you are seeing in this unique custom constructed Super Sportfish. B15 will be built with a triple plank cold molded method using epoxy resins. Bulkheads. cabins and bridges are constructed with Okoume plywood and Core Cell A500 foam. Structural bulkheads will be three inches thick, while the ships sides have two inches. Power will be from latest generation twin MTU M94 delivering 2600hp each, suggesting a very fast Super Sportfish indeed.
