Projects: Benetti B.Now 52M, Benetti B.Loft 58M

Benetti's steel legacy announces the two new projects for the B.Now 52M and the B.Loft 58M. Pictured above is the B.Now 52M project, with exteriors by RWD and interiors designed by Valentina Zannier. The B.Now 52M is a replacement and reinterpretation of the B.Now 50M, one of the most successful models in the family, which has sold 21 units in just a few years, an absolute record in this size category. The revolution stems from the desire to reimagine the spaces, not only by increasing the size of the hull, but also through innovative interior design that breaks with tradition to promote a harmonious flow between the various areas. The Oasis Deck® is 30% larger than the previous version, extending over a surface area of 130 square metres and extending a full 15 metres of space from the stern to the lounge entrance. The larger and completely redesigned pool incorporates a retractable cover system that transforms the area into a spacious platform on the water with a magical atmosphere. While the exterior has been redesigned to offer generous spaces, the real heart of the project can be found on the Main Deck: entering through the lounge door, a continuous 48-metre pathway extends right up to the panoramic bow terrace, offering uninterrupted views. Here, the layout amplifies the sense of space by eliminating the external starboard side corridor, which is now integrated within the interiors in a new solution featuring huge, glazed surfaces. The larger internal staircase, positioned in the centre of the new open space, becomes a design feature, while the dining room, now located at the bow, is flooded by light entering through floor-to-ceiling windows. On the Upper Deck, the elimination of the external staircase up to the terrace creates a new area entirely reserved for the owner; 110 square metres split between the master cabin and the private terrace.
The Benetti B.Loft 58M project is like its bigger seven meter B.Loft 65M sister designed by Giorgio Cassetta, retaining the distinctive features and contemporary architectural language inspired by large villas and modern lofts.  The experience on board starts with the Cabana, a shaded area that can be open or closed, right on the water's edge, offering a new and original interpretation of the beach club. The side wings swing out to create a 120-square-metre bathing platform stretching over fifteen metres wide. An indoor and outdoor space on the water, where the light reflecting from the pool on the terrace above envelops this convivial and relaxing setting.  The loft experience is characterised by the panoramic Sky Lounge on the Upper Deck, which extends across over seventy square metres and has a remarkable ceiling height of 3.5 metres. The large glass side walls offer an unobstructed view of the horizon, while a wide sliding door opens onto an outdoor area with sea views.  Both the sleek, elegant exterior styling and interiors featuring generous proportions and a wealth of functions are by Cassetta Yacht Designers.

Fire at Greek Zea Marina Wrecks Three Yachts

A fire at Zea Marina in Piraeus, to the South West of Athens which originated from the tourist sailing gullet Mirasol has wrecked three yachts from 23 to 43 meters, including of which is the Mangusta super yacht Sanctuary.  The blaze started just after 03:00 early morning time of Thursday thirteen November.  Hellenic Fire Service tended to the blaze with twenty fire fighters from both land water and were assisted by watercraft from the Coast Guard, fighting the fire for more than five hours, to no success as all three yachts ended wrecked.  Strong winds pushing the fire from the starboard to port side of the gullet did not help the situation, as these jumped first on the 23 meter Azimut sport yacht Alkyone, then on a 26 meters Azimut flybridge yacht, and then on the 43 meter Sanctuary.  No injuries were reported as the coast guard cordoned the area, and then surrounded the wrecks with a pollution protection mesh.
The three yachts in this fire are m/y Alkyone a 2017 Azimut 77S designed by Stefano Righini, and produced from 2014 to 2020 in seventeen units.  The second yacht involved was an Azimut 85 as designed by Stefano Righini and produced from 2005 to 2009 in nineteen units.  Last yacht wrecked and the largest of the blaze was m/y Sanctuary a 2019 Overmarine Mangusta Oceano 43, designed by Alberto Mancini and produced from 2019 to 2021 in four units.
This is the second fire at the same marina in just over a year, with that blaze coming on the night of first August 2024.  That past fire had a similar script as a tourist vessel also started the blaze which then burned the custom Picchiotti 42 meter m/y Libra, and the Cantieri di Pisa built Golden Yachts completed 32 meter O'rianna.  A link to the post of that accident is in the comments below.

Project: Domina Yachts 50 WA

Domina Yachts present the project for a new 50 Walkaround set to arrive in most probability in the coming year.  Designed as the two other smaller Domina's by Marco Seri the 50 Walkaround comes as a larger offer to the 42 Walkaround, which is Domina current best seller.  So far very little information is offered on the 50 Walkaround, but with these scale models as displayed during the 2025 Genoa boat show, we know that it will feature latest amenities as drop down bulkheads, and an ever ending all fifteen meters length exterior space; with two; aft and fore dinettes.  The Domina Yachts 50 Walkaround in this scale models also shows a two stepped hull showing a performance focus probably to go beyond fifty knots.  Domina Yachts has not advised any engine and propulsion details, but I would imagine for the 50 Walkaround to be available with inboard surface drives, and outboards as the current 42 WA and 44R models.  During the 2025 Genoa boat show Domina Yachts also teased for a 50R open style yacht.

Sanlorenzo Yacht Ends Aground Near Haulover, Florida

A 27 meter Sanlorenzo Yacht ended on top a sand bar near Haulover Park, and the YouTube famous Haulover Inlet in Florida, for a story shared on Facebook by Fast Response Marine Towing and Service on the afternoon of Tuesday eleven November.  According to some comments on the post the yacht captain went outside the channel markers, and with a yacht which drafts just under two meters ended aground.  Fast Response Marine Towing and Service and TowBoatUS assisted the yacht, in a successful operation in freeing the super yacht from the sandbar.  The damage to the yacht, if any, has not been reported.
The yacht in this accident is a Sanlorenzo SL90 Asymmetric as designed by Zuccon and produced since 2021 to date in 26 units.

Project: Absolute Navetta 58

It started with a Navetta 58 back in 2014, then it was updated in 2020, and now for 2026 Absolute presents the third generation Navetta 58. The Navetta 58 joins the look of drop down and then go up shear line and extra large forward hull windows as introduced with the Navetta 48 in 2018. Absolute is calling this third version of the Navetta 58 the Andromeda. Fluid, harmonious contemporary lines define the third generation identity of the Navetta 58, offering ever-changing perspectives and a perfect balance of privacy, functionality, and luxury. Among its most distinctive features are the signature-shaped bow windows, glass bulwarks in the cockpit that provide unobstructed sea views and enhanced safety, and the truncated transom design, which eases access to the water. The cockpit, fully sheltered by the flybridge, is spacious and versatile, customizable with modular sofas, while the large stern platform is available in a fixed version or with an integrated automatic ladder. The step-free flybridge offers a customizable aft terrace, a generous L-shaped sofa with sliding ceramic table, a fully equipped wet bar with BBQ, refrigerator, icemaker, and freezer, plus a starboard helm station designed to simplify docking manoeuvres. The expansive hardtop, available with an opening section or solar panels, completes the space with dimmable ceiling lights and integrated floor lighting, creating a refined and atmospheric onboard experience. The interiors of the Navetta 58 are designed to deliver absolute comfort and a wide range of customization options. The seamless, step-free salon can be fitted with a foldaway table in the lounge area or an electrically operated dining table with six chairs, complemented by alternative layouts such as a crystal cabinet, spacious storage unit, or a refined coffee table with armchairs. The raised helm station features two state-of-the-art seats and ensures outstanding visibility. The full-beam master cabin forward is bright and spacious, with a walk-in closet and customizable furnishings; the midship VIP cabin offers the same level of comfort with an en-suite bathroom and large panoramic windows; the guest cabin features two single beds that can be electrically converted into a double. As with every Absolute yacht, the interiors are defined by soft, flowing lines, rounded furniture edges, wide beds, soft ambient lighting, efficient climate control, and natural ventilation, all designed to create an exclusive and relaxing onboard atmosphere. The third generation Absolute Navetta 58 is powered by twin Volvo 725hp with IPS pod drives.

New Model: SAY Carbon Yachts 52

I actually learned about SAY Carbon Yachts back in 2022, when its then new model the 42 was filmed in Haulover Inlet during a sea trial by Wavy Boats.  This video got interest to this axe bow arrow looking from the future sport cruiser.  The project of the 52 was announced on that same year, but supply chain issues and then some financial difficulties last year made the debut of the second larger SAY arrive this year at the 2025 Palma boat show.  A German company founded in 2006, the company started building light sailboats and ribs, and then in 2014 with involvement from Karl Wagner, the founder of Carbo Tech Composites started looking at entering the fast cruiser market.  The result was the SAY Carbon Yachts 42 which arrived in 2022, with this 52 being its second model.  Fully build in carbon fibre the SAY 52 is a fifteen meter in length sport yacht of incredible light weight, around eight tons unloaded with the diesel engine choice, and all around weight saving features, see shower head door.  Accommodation wise the SAY Yachts offers a two plus two berth interior; C-shaped dinette to starboard and a cabin galley to port, double berth forward, and a shower head to starboard.  An option exists for the forward cabin for being open or enclosed with a door.  The exterior living area of the SAY 52 is typical Mediterranean covered for most part by the futuristic and forward looking hard-T-Top and offering a layout off a central sun-pad with underneath garage, central L-shaped settee forward and bench seat for two to port, center exterior galley wet-bar, and a two seat central console.   The SAY 52 is available with three propulsion options; twin 430hp petrol gas as standard, optional twin 480hp diesel, both of these on duo-prop stern drives, and an all electric 300kw option which adds the bill by another 850,000 EUROS.  With the twin 480hp diesel option the SAY 42 reaches a top speed of 45 knots.

Tecnomar New Web Site

Tecnomar from Italy updates its virtual World wide web showroom to a new platform. Tecnomar is founded in 1987 by the Sarti family, as it buys performance offshore boat and yacht builder Bruno Benetti.  Bruno Benetti actually debuts the previous year in 1986 with the high performance 50 Offshore model as designed by Cougar. The 50 Offshore is followed in a year by three smaller 35 to 45 foot models, who like the bigger sister are also powerboat style cruisers and designed by Cougar.  In 1991 the Bruno Benetti name is removed as Tecnomar starts to label the models only with its name.  In 1993 with the launch of the three cabin TB 58 Tecnomar offers its first more comfort orientated sport yacht.  In 1997 Tecnomar builds its first super 24 metres plus size yacht with the different to its usual offer only one custom build Ventoteso 35, a displacement ship style yacht as designed by Vripack and build of steel.  The one off Ventoteso 35 is the only Tecnomar build of steel to date.  The second super yacht comes three years later in 2001 as Tecnomar launch the semi-custom super sport yacht production Velvet 24 model. In the new millennium Tecnomar expands the semi production super yacht 24 meters and bigger offer, and by 2004 the company delivers its bigger yacht under the original Sarti management with the 35 Velvet, the first hull commissioned by renowned football player and manager Roberto Mancini. The Sarti family will sell Tecnomar's majority stake to Venice Equity in 2008, and then in January 2009 changes ownership again to the current owner, becoming part of the Italian Sea Group with Giovanni Costantino taking the role of Chairman and CEO.  With Italian Sea Group production moves a bit further North in Tuscany to Massa Carrara. Tecnomar largest build to date is the 45m Nadara launched in 2010 and able to reach max speeds up to thirty knots.  Today Tecnomar currently offers six models divided in three different ranges; T-Evo, Multihull, and Tecnomar for Lamborghini build in aluminium and or fibreglass.  The range offer starts from social media's favorite yacht the twenty meter Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63, and goes up to the T-Evo 155 for length or the C 145 catamaran for volume. The new Tecnomar web showroom takes you around with the following main buttons: Home, Brand, Fleet, News and Events,  Contacts and Sales Network, and The Italian Sea Group.  Tecnomar is also on social media with bottom right links taking you to the brands Facebook, Instagram, and Threads company pages.

Palm Beach Motor Yachts has launched its largest build to date as it delivered its first PB85 at the start of the fall. The PB85 enters Palm Beach into 24 meters plus super yacht and expands its size from from its previous largest PB70 which arrived in 2019 by six meters.  For those less attentive to details the PB85 also shares hull with the same owned Grand Banks GB85 which launched in 2021, and to date has been delivered in three units.  The first hull of the Palm Beach PB85 came in the Sedan hard-top version, but the model is also available in Flybridge, and enclosed bridge Skylounge versions.  The Palm Beach PB85 features a galley up layout, with a three stateroom lower deck.  Crew cabins for two are at midships in between the engine room and the owners room, and this area also features a galley, L-shaped dinette, and direct access to the spacious engine room aft.  The Palm Beach Motor Yachts PB85 is standard powered by twin Volvo 1000hp with IPS pod drives for speeds up to 28 knots and a cruise at 23 knots.  Other options are triple Volvo 1000s and IPS pods for speeds up to 35 knots, and twin Man 1300hp with shaft drives for speeds up to thirty knots.
