Project: Northwest 58

Northwest continue to show projects for its fully revamped line.  This time is the turn for a 58 a very roomy three cabin, three head explorer yacht having more room aboard than most similar yachts in this size and class. An unusual detail of the Northwest 58 will be a sleeping berth by the pilot house, and two more available on an optional sleep sofa.  With these Northwest 58 will have a total accommodation of nine berths. The Northwest 58 will also have full standing headroom down the center of the engine compartment.  Twin John Deere 500hp power will give cruise speeds at 12 knots with wide open throttle estimates going into the mid to upper teens.

New Model: Westport 125

Westport is one of those rare to find conservative super yacht builders, and this new 125 model took a long time coming for the USA Washington state builder. Testimony of this is that for example its 112 launched in 1998 has been delivered in 55 units as at 2015, and this Westport 125 which started development in 2014 is its first new model since seven years.   This new Westport 125 is for a repeat client who upgraded from a 112 model.  Hull one of Westport 125 features a five double cabin arrangement with an owners stateroom on the main deck. Crew cabins are three including of which is a captains cabin with a french style double berth.  Power for the Westport 125 comes from twin MTU 2600hp which give a max speed of 25 knots, a cruise of 20, and a 12 knots long range giving up to 2500 nautical miles autonomy.

Project: Ferretti Custom Line 120

Ferretti Custom Line present the project for a 120, a new tri-deck super yacht with semi wide body planning hull.  The Custom Line 120 also marks twenty years, born 1996 as a Ferretti super yacht brand which also laid the first stepping stones for the formation of the Ferretti Group, which formed officially two years later in 1998 with the entrance of Pershing into the holding. This new Ferretti Custom Line 120 is also a first for the brand with design coming from famous Italian Milan residing Francesco Paszkowski.  This an interesting turn of events since for a first time in twenty years we are seeing a Ferretti Custom Line outside the design influence of Giovani Zuccon.  Some questions automatically come. Will the Ferretti Custom Line mark the first of a new more free designer role, or is it a one off concept by Paszkowski?  Will the Milan designer, also known for his long work for Baglietto and Sanlorenzo for a decade or more take design responsibility for Custom Line?  Only time will answer the first question, with the second possibly being replied on the sale success the Ferretti Custom Line 120 will bring.
