New Model: Cutwater 30
In today's market Cutwater and its parent brand Fluid Systems are a red herring for building small medium sized boats with big appeal. This mean that its 26 to thirty feet Cutwater models are made to feel large to the owner, and the surprise in all this is that they still abide by US trailer boat rules. The Cutwater 30 apart an intelligent accommodation plan of sleeping four berths in two cabins, plus two in the convertible dinette is full of practical features. See extending bench seats, and flip over settee in the aft cockpit. The Cutwater 30 also impresses for other seamanship friendly features, which usually escape to the first time inexperienced buyer, like a not so small fuel tank of 681 liters, and water capacity of 302 liters. The Cutwater 30 is such a good all rounder that if it had also a two engine choice it would steal customers from boats being one meter bigger.

Project: BlueGame BG50
Bluegame presents the project of the new BG50 which replaces the first official model the BG47. This model also completes the current Bluegame line from forty to sixty feet. As is usual with all the Bluegame boats and the clever intuition of Luca Santella, the BG50 sticks itself out from other products for the options it presents, and its distinctive do it all off road of the sea looks. One interesting option in the BG50 is the three different lower deck plans available. The choices here are for two or three cabin plans, and a crew cabin or a lazarette for putting personal items amidships. In the two cabins plan the owners room moves amidships from fore, and also features a small office. The three cabin also impress for having each room with own private en-suite shower head. An interesting design detail of the BG50 is also the deck to stern which in standard format is a sun-pad, can be converted to an aft and forward looking settee, but also offers a wet-bar grill area, while below this is a large storage area. For power and propulsion the BG50 follows the route of its smaller sister the BG40, with ZF Zeus aft looking dual prop pods propulsion, powered by twin 600hp Cummins engines.

New Model: Dyna D105
Taiwanese manufacturer Dyna Craft has just completed their first D105 super yacht, declaring their ability to produce motor yachts above one hundred feet. The unique design was commissioned with both private and business use throughout East Asia in mind, with the owner choosing Dyna Craft due to their flexibility around semi-customization, to meet his specific requirements. The owner had a specific request for long range capabilities with the D105, to be equipped with three MTU 2600hp engines, capable of achieving 34 knots with a cruising speed of 30 knots. Project: Galeon 300 Fly
It's a common occurrence in boat building that once a marque develops and founds success in the larger sizes, it spread its wings further and forgets about its smaller models. Seems Polish builder Galeon does not share this idea, and this new 300 Fly project is testimony to its beliefs in building a complete line of innovative craft. The 300 Fly follows previous latest models in what the Strazyn brand refers to its third generation series, and will also be completely new meaning not based on the 290 it will replace. The 300 Fly now to be its new entry level model is a compact flybridge motor cruiser with a two separate cabins lower decks and a shower head plan; master cabin to fore, and guest double amidships. The main deck offers a living area this having a C-shaped settee to port side, galley opposite, and a helm station. The flybridge presents itself with a center pilot seat and a sun pad to aft. Engines options have not been announced but Galeon says the 300 Fly can be powered by engines up to twin 225hp.

New Model: Hampton 640 Endurance
Built in China but originally founded in Taiwan, Hampton yachts is an interesting boat builder. In recent years it introduced the Endurance line an American looking inspired yacht with the help from famous hull architect Howard Apollonio. This underwater shape improves hull speed before the planning hump, also possible thanks to the very central of gravity in the Hampton models. The Hampton 640 Endurance offers a traditional style accommodation layout for this size of yacht with a living on the main deck in a split level area, and three double cabins located below. Owners cabin is a full beam amidships, while the VIP cabin to fore and guest double to port side share a shower head located to starboard. The 640 Endurance also features a sky-lounge option for the lower deck which replaces the inside lower helm station for a larger dinette. Power is twin Cat 705hp engines with line shaft propulsion.

Project: Ferretti 650
Ferretti Yachts 650 is the first in a series of models that are bound to set a new functional and technical standard for the line below seventy feet in length coming from this Italian builder. Developed thanks to the cooperation between the Product Strategy Committee, Ferretti Group’s Marketing Department, Advanced Yachts Technology and Design, and Studio Zuccon International Project, the project draws inspiration from the 620. The Ferretti 650 immediately strikes the eye for its extensively renovated profile. Its outer silhouette is characterized by an aerodynamic flybridge and new fiberglass decorative elements that “cut” through the profile of the glazing in the superstructure. An unprecedented decoration connects the windows of the three cabins below deck. The slender lines are further enhanced by the yacht’s aft area, specifically designed to ensure easy and safe storage and launch of the tender while increasing the guests on-board comfort. A tender lift has been developed, capable of lifting an over three metre long PWC that can be lowered into the water by a meter with respect to its original position. This system allows the 650 to be davit-free: a valuable attribute which provides an incredible amount of additional living space. As is the case on all models in the range, on this 65 footer the shipyard is proposing alternative layouts both on the sundeck, which also comes in the hard-top version, and inside. Ferretti has designed a “TaiHe Dian” edition of the 650, devoted in particular to owners from select markets in the Asia-Pacific. This special edition features areas on board which are exclusively dedicated towards entertainment and business related functions The main deck is a true open space forward until the windshield, functional and extensively renovated in terms of furnishings and décor. The galley is completely open: this solution allows to fully exploit this room as a large bar area opening onto the stern and towards the dining and living areas, further contributing to a sense of volume and making living onboard even more enjoyable. The underdeck layout includes three double cabins and three separate heads. In the “TaiHe Dian” edition, the main difference is that the galley is on the lower deck replacing the starboard guest cabin, and on the upper deck there is a large dinette. The central part of the salon as well as the two main cabins and third head have remained unchanged. With Ferretti Yachts 650, the brand goes back to installing engines produced by Caterpillar. The boat is equipped with standard pair of CAT 1015hp or optional 1150hp. Estimated top speeds are 30 knots max with the standard engines, and 33 knots with the large option.
