Project: VanDutch 75

VanDutch present the project for a new 75 flagship model, which will expand the size of the Italian, Pardo owned brand since 2020 by just one foot short of twenty feet from the current 56 flagship. Designed by Mulder, who is also responsible for naval architecture the 75 is an evolution of the 70 project which VanDutch announced back in 2014.  The Van Dutch 75 is to be available in standard three or optional two large double cabins layout.  In both layouts a galley and dinette is located in between the cabins.  In the optional two suites layout, the master stateroom is full beam midships.  A crew cabin is located in between the cabins area and the engine room.  The exterior of the VanDutch 75 will offer a large central sun-pad, followed by a central C-shaped settee, while a step up will lead you to two C-shaped dinettes with the one to port side also offering a mezzanine settee looking aft.  A helm station is to port side, with an L-shaped wet bar located opposite.  The VanDutch 75 as has been the range from its founding in 2009 is to be a classic open yacht, with clean uncluttered lines and a bow which echoes the early twentieth century fast commuters, as used by the super rich to move around the bays of New York. The VanDutch 75 is offered with an optional light open hard-top as pictured above or the standard full open version.  The VanDutch 75 is standard powered by triple Volvo 800hp engines with IPS pod drives, which can go up to the optional 1000hp units.  Speed estimates are for a max of forty knots.

New Model: VanDutch 56

Van Dutch presents the new 56 an update of the 55 model, and current flagship of this now Italian, Cantiere dell Pardo owned and build sport cruiser and yacht builder, although a 75 is apparently in initial construction and project stages.  Subtle and important changes differentiate the 56 from the 55, the most important being that the 56 is now powered by Volvo IPS pod drives, versus the line shaft of the 55.  She is indeed the first VanDutch to be powered by IPS, and considering the use of Pardo of the Volvo pod drives we might see more of this on future VD models.   Other changes are the large bathing platform now keeping the same beam of the hull, and also having a design detail which brings her out of the hull.  Outside this is what makes you differentiate the 55 from the 56. On the accommodation front the Van Dutch 56 is near identical, with the lower deck offering a two cabins Sleep version and an open plan Lounge Version.  In both versions if you convert the dinette forward and the lounge aft the sleeping accommodation is for four persons.

Project: VanDutch 56

VanDutch present the project for a new 56 set to replace the 55. Outside very little has changed but the 56 might have a slightly longer windscreen.  The most visible changes will come in the cockpit deck, which now will feature a wet-bar to starboard, while the two L-shaped settees stay but are now independent and do not integrate with the forward settees.  Another difference will come in the helm station now featuring a glass station looking upright.  The lower deck layout will offer more flexibility now available in four different versions; Lounge and Daybed, Lounge and Master Cabin, Secondary Sleeper and Daybed, and Secondary Sleeper and Master Cabin.  These layouts vary from a very open area sleeping two, to a two cabin version which sleeps four.   All versions have one head, and a galley and dinette in between the cabins or between to the lounge areas.  The VanDutch 56 is to be powered by twin Volvo 900hp with shaft drives delivering top speeds up to 38 knots.

Project: VanDutch 48

VanDutch presents the project for a new 48 model set to launch in the upcoming Cannes 2019 boat show, and filling the vacuum between its 40 and 55 models.  The VanDutch 48 will continues the Dutch firm open design philosophy for a fully open boat, though a 48T version with T-Top will also be available.  The VanDutch 48 will offer two lower deck layout choices in a Cabin or Lounge versions.  This choice revolves around the choosing midships room which will be in a two berth layout in the Cabin version or a sofa with TV in the Lounge version.  The 48 will raise the bar in the use for latest high tech for VanDutch from the full glass cockpit with standard 17 inch screen by Garmin in the helm, a hydraulic up and down bathing platform, to a full data network managed with NMEA2000 by Mastervolt's C-Zone display.  The VanDutch 48 will be powered by twin Volvo 670hp in a traditional line shaft propulsion which should give top speeds up to 38 knots.

Project: VanDutch 70

Benefiting from the experience gained from the previous smaller models, the brand new VanDutch 70 is the evolution to the interesting concept of this builder. The 70 and its important size will show case more the pure lines, vast cockpit, and the faultless finish the smaller sisters presents, yet VanDutch also guarantee it will be also easy to handle. Upcoming flagship of the VanDutch fleet which currently has its biggest model in the 55, the 70 is a noble demonstration of the expansion of this builder has shown in some years going from one to five. The interior design rendering shows that VanDutch will privilege volumes and simplicity in a modern art atmosphere.
