New Model: Aicon 82 Open
PowerYachtBlog gives an exclusive preview for Aicon's new 82 Open, flagship of the Sport Yacht line and second biggest model from the Sicilian Italian builder. Announced over a year ago the new 82 Open goes into Super Sport Yacht size, and follows a family feeling design as seen on the 62 and 72 of the same range offering aggressive and flowing lines. This new Aicon also has an innovative integrated system of domestics and onboard monitoring, characterized by a centralization of all electrical utilities functions, and of the parameters of the hydraulic systems. This system presents numerous additional functions such as the automatic management of the power supply, with the possibility to choose which utilities an inverter feeds, the complete configuration and personalization of the controls, and a simple intuitive management of the alarms with automatic safety procedures. The system was realized by Aicon's own engineering department. Characterized by opening windows and hard top, the 82 Open allows one to experience the deck area with the sensation of being in a completely open space contacting the sea, in total sync with the living and cockpit. The streamlined external lines of the boat are also recaptured in the definition of the interiors with duo tone wooden essence copying the colors outside running through the layout of the decorating elements. The ample bathing platform with two staircases welcomes you to the stern cockpit, connecting the spacious bow sunbathing area by the wide side decks. All the outside spaces on the 82 Open have been conceived to experience cruising in relaxation, with maximum comfort in the ample and comfortable open-air dinette, the sunbathing area, or the settee with table located aft. The main deck accommodates a large meeting area with an L-shaped sofa and dinette seating eight. Opposite it, in addition to another double seat sofa, there is a hide-away LCD TV and on the left a comfortable fully equipped electric bar cabinet equipped. Located to starboard is the fully equipped double seated helm station. Down below is located the galley and the cabins. Two large opening circle shape portholes, which are a unique style element of the Aicon range, light up the full beam mid ship located master stateroom which features a beauty desk, an ample wardrobe and an elegant en suite bathroom with shower complete with water massage. Going towards bow at starboard and portside are the two guest cabins with double beds, and en suite bathrooms, with the VIP cabin with its full bed and roomy bathroom located at the fore part. Improve-it = Galeon 640 Fly
Polish Straszyn builder Galeon always attentive to the market latest trends improves its second in size model, and current biggest build of its flybridge Motor Yacht range the 640 Fly. Presented last year to a design by Tony Castro, the 640 Fly gets added with an important available optional extra of a hard top, featuring an electric roof opening movement on the flybridge. Here the difference also includes the radar arch which gets a more upright position versus the more aggressive streamlined profile of the standard version. This optional is ideally suited for those who use the flybridge on a frequent basis, and want a more stable platform then a bimini with stainless steel poles. While the flybridge layout and seating is unchanged to the standard 640 Fly, this optional still gives the impression of having added space above.

Project: Numarine 68 Fly
Turkey has been always strong in its maritime industry, and Numarine with its seven model line up is surely one of the great brand names to watch in modern looking medium to large yachts. After successfully launching its new 78 Hardtop in early Summer this year, now Numarine and designer Tony Castro move on to present an easy to handle twenty one meter flybridge motor yacht with the project of the upcoming 68 Fly set to be launched next year. Numarine instructions to Castro where simple to say but surely not easy to deliver as they wanted a yacht with spaces associated with a bigger size, have wide open spaces with a four cabin interior, and at the same time be fast, easy to drive without the need of crew but still being able to accommodate them if desired. The 68 Fly project maintains all the above with the trademark Numarine modernity while giving a new mature angular Numarine yacht look. Outside spaces will have a spacious flybridge, sun pads at the bow, and a dining aft deck settee to stern. Inside, the 68 Fly feels much larger than its size thanks also to the extensive use of glass bringing daylight views in, which also keeps one connected with the environment at all times. The yacht sports four double cabins all with personal heads, and includes a large full beam owners suite. The natural light, contemporary furniture and open spaces shout modernity inside with the achieved desire of optimum balance of form and function. The 68 Fly will also have a full size gourmet galley and abundant storage space. Details that make a big difference in a daily life on a yacht. For the ultimate privacy of the owner and the guests, the crew gets a separate entrance to their cabins aft, and a comfortably arranged crew mess, a novelty for this size. The yacht powered by twin CAT engines of 1015hp each, is estimated to reach a max speed of 34 knots making it the fastest Numarine flybridge motor yacht.

A very open plan saloon takes a very innovative setting with two loungers welcoming you on both sides, and a central six or eight person dining table located in the middle. Project: Rizzardi 50 Incredible
Another exclusive preview coming from Italian Rome boat builder Rizzardi who with a surprise present a new Incredible, upgrading the range with the 50 model. The new 50 will be the third Incredible sitting in between the 45 introduced in 2004 and among the best sellers of the Inrizzardi Group, and the 55 presented in 2008. Rizzardi has so far not communicated if this will be a replacement to the more classic looking CR50 Topline launched in 2000. Slightly wider to the 45 by four centimetres and longer by over a metre the fifty seems taking bits and pieces from both the previous Incredible models, staying true to the family feeling of the line. The 50 upper super structure, as well as the bathing platform follow many of the design elements seen in the 55, with the hard top being more extended aft, and having two profile side view windows. Interior accommodation is a three cabin two heads plan, with the en-suited owners stateroom to fore, and two double cabins mid ship. Staying true to its performance heritage which is also proved with a 2003 Powerboat P1 Evolution Class title, the new Rizzardi powered by twin MAN R6 730hp with surface drives propulsion option has top speeds of 44 knots, and all time cruise of 37 knots.
