A strong storm which hit Tivat and Porto Montenegro just before midnight of Saturday thirty August damaged the 74 meter super yacht New Dream. The story was shared on Instagram crew.mess channel with a reel showing the crew of the super yacht organizing the yacht during the storm, and then the damage to the port side which affected the yacht the following morning, as the above screen shot shows. According to reply comments on the Instagram channel, only this yacht 74 meter got damaged during this Porto Montenegro storm, with winds reported to have gusted up to forty knots.
M/y New Dream is a 2017 Amels, second hull of the Limited Edition 242 semi custom series as designed by Tim Heywood for exterior and Winch for the interior, and produced from 2016 to 2024. The Limited Edition 242 was replaced by the Amels 80 Limited Edition which has launched its first unit this year and has sold six hulls.
